Chapter 37

Alisa’s POV

A couple of days had passed since I had my baby, and I still had not heard from my blue eyes. I was so excited to tell him the news of our gorgeous baby boy and I had a bad feeling something was wrong, as Clarisse was on edge everything she came in to see me. However, every time I asked about Lucas or Ricardo she would just say she has not spoken to any of them. Nevertheless, her face told me otherwise as I knew she was not telling me something and it was starting to worry me so much.

 As soon as I managed to settle my baby boy down for a sleep, I tried to link up with Alpha Jackson, Ricardo and Lucas but they all seemed to have their pack links blocked. I was so worried encase something bad had happened to them and personally I had, had enough of being confined to my bed. Therefore, I slowly slipped out of my made up bed and headed out of the sheet that someone had hung up around for privacy, which I was grateful.

I made my way deeper down the tunnel where I could hear the women talking. I walked in and everyone went completely silent. My wolf and I were getting so sick of everyone hiding things from us. In addition, just as I was going to rare up on them all, I saw the Alpha female being comforted by Clarisse, I knew it was bad. “Can someone please tell me what is going on? As I am getting sick of everyone keeping things from me,” I asked with a calm voice. As I made my way over towards the Alpha female, one of the elders took Clarisse place while Clarisse leaded me deeper into the tunnel.

Her eyes were red and swollen; she just hugged on to me for dear life as she cried her heart out. ”Clarisse tell me what’s wrong sweetheart,” I asked, in a soothing voice as I rubbed her lower back. ”Dad has been killed,” she answered in between her heart broken sobs. I know this sounds bad, but I felt relieved it was not my blue eyes. As I have had a bad feeling deep down since I had the baby and thought, something had happened too Ricardo.

Nevertheless, I still felt heartbroken, as Ricardo must be hurting and I needed desperately to be there for him, I thought to myself. ”Clarisse did Lucas or Ricardo tells you,” I asked, now looking at her face “her eyes held so much sadness and worry that my heart broke right then.” Yes I have” she replied, and I could see she was panicking so I decided to ask the dreaded question I have been dying to ask. ”Is Ricardo alive?” she did not reply I just kept looking at her waiting for her to reply and she just collapsed to the floor. I felt a cold shiver go through my body sending me numb. I sat on the floor waiting for her to speak and after some time she replied. “Alisa he is alive but Lucas needs us to go back to the pack house tonight.” I could see she was struggling so I did not push anymore as just knowing he was alive was enough for now. I told myself.

Everyone was as excited as they were packing the bunker up and In addition, today my baby boy was going to meet his daddy for first time and I was so excited.

A few hours later, we had arrived back at the pack house and I could not wait to see my blue eyes and introduce him to his son. I ran through the front door and up to our room bubbling with excitement, I opened the door were his beautiful scent engulfed me exciting my wolf and I instantly. I was so excited to see him that I did not even realise until then that something was seriously wrong.  I just stood there frozen in the doorway in deep thought. Ricardo did not come to meet me at the bunker not even at the front door, OMG he has not even come to see his son. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Lucas wrapped his arm around me. ”Oh Alisa” he greeted, as he dragged me quickly over towards the bed.

I broke down at the sight in front of me, my blue eyes looked so pale and he was not moving at all. I laid our baby beside him as I laid into them both placing a kiss on blue eyes forehead and just let everything out that I had been holding in.

 After a while, I managed to calm myself down a bit, and turned to look for Lucas and saw that the doctor was standing beside us monitoring Ricardo. I did not care that he had just seen me having a mental breakdown.

 As I was just happy to know that now I could actually get some answers to all of my questions. “How is he?” I asked nervously. ”Hopefully now you’re here he will start to respond”, “as he has been be in a coma for days now and you are the only one that can save him now.” He told me with so much sadness. I could tell he did not want to be the one to tell me, but I think he knew I needed to know the truth. ”what can I do tell me please?” I asked while looking at Ricardo.” Just comfort him and try and get through to his wolf he needs to wake up soon,” he told me more sternly.” I nodded, as I moved my body closer hoping for some reaction any. I tried talking to his wolf and I could feel him there but he seemed to be struggling to respond to me. I kept trying as all I wanted was for him to open his eyes and see our baby, and wrap his arms around me and tell me everything will be all right.

Lucas’s POV

So much has been happening as the rogues were locked up and were heavily guarded. I also had placed my mother in the torture chamber across from my dad. Therefore, she could watch him getting tortured until Ricardo and Alisa decide what they wanted to do. As I had promised, Ricardo that Alisa could have the last say in her punishment.

I looked into their room as I had not really seen my nephew properly yet but I did not want to hold him before Ricardo as I no if it was me I would want that pleasure before anyone else. I hope he wakes up soon as looking at my sister now I can see she is hurting and longing so much for her mate right now. I was stood at the door for so long Clarisse grabbed my hand and lead me to our room, I didn’t say anything I just followed as I knew she was hurting as much as well as after all not only had she just lost her dad but she was worrying for her brother as well.

We had been in bed for a while just cuddling each other, having her back in my arms felt so amazing as being away for her was killing me as our pup is due any day now. “Alpha Lucas your needed quick” my beta shouted through our pack link. “Baby I will be back as soon as I can”.  I said as I quickly kissed her lips before running out of the room.

As soon as I hit the bottom step of the stairs there stood my highest ranked officers “what’s wrong?” I asked using my Alpha tone. ”There has been some rogues spotted on the edge of our land but they managed to escape before we got there” my beta replied. “Emergency meeting now my office” I ordered them sternly as I left to Alpha Jackson’s office.

Within seconds the office was filled and I started the meeting after I had gave everyone their orders I walked back up the stairs to see the most happiest sight I have ever seen. Alisa Ricardo and their baby cuddling each other, I walked into the room while calling Clarisse to meet me here, “Ricardo congratulations man about time you woke up you lazy sod” I said, feeling so happy and relieved that he was awake. “Hey have you seen my baby! He is just the cutest ever,” he said looking so proud. I laughed and said “we’ll have you too given my poor nephew a name yet?” they both looked at each other before they replied “Jack after my dad” Ricardo replied as tears began to well up in his eyes.” Love it” I replied trying to keep this moment happy.

However, as always our happy moments never last long as I could hear something was happening down stairs. ”Well I am sorry but as I am the only Alpha at the minute duty calls” I said jokingly, all of them began to laugh even the doctor.

The rogues that escaped had been captured but there was no more room in the cells, and where all being held out the front of the pack house. ”Quite” I shouted, silencing them all.” Ok what seems to be the problem?” I asked looking towards my beta. “We have captured them all but have nowhere to hold them, and the women and children are frightened” he replied for only me to hear. “Bring them to the packs gym and keep them tied up and heavily guarded until I sort something out,” I said as I walked off to the cells.

After reaching the cells, I was shocked at how many rogues we had actually captured so I knew we would have to start sentencing as soon as possible. I linked up with Ricardo to see what he wanted to do as well.” Kill the ones that were waiting for their death sentence that ways it will free up a lot of the cells, just make sure none of the women or children see”. He replied. I gave out the orders and before long we had killed almost twenty wolfs.

The next day Ricardo was up and the two of us were down in the torture chambers where my mum and dad were. As much as I hated my mother, I could not torture her not just her but any women so we had just decided that we were going to have to talk with Alisa and let her decide whether she wants to do it or shall we get the guards too.

Ricardo and I walked into my dad’s cell and decided we would give him such a beating. Making sure that my mum would see and feel as much pain as possible. Now that all the rogues that were captured. There was only one thing left to do before we could all get back normal life’s back. In addition, that was to destroy every one of them!
