   The three weres were frozen in the doorway as they watched the situation in horror. Cenred finally pulled out of Morgana, an evil smirk on his face.
   What happened then happened so fast that no one had enough time to respond!
   Merlin and Arthur immediately shifted, leaping at Cenred. The other Alphas leapt back in surprise but it was too late. The two main Alphas of the pack were upon him, their huge fangs aiming for his throat!
   Cenred had shifted as well and began fighting, swiping his huge black paws at the equally sized black and white wolves.
   Rose stood frozen in the doorway for a moment before her attention turned to her sister. Quickly, she covered Morgana with a red robe and grabbed her up into her arms, holding her close.
   "Are you ok, sis? Did he hurt you?" She asked, the seriousness of the situation finally getting to her.
   To her surprise, Morgana was quiet as she said, "No. He was very gentle."
   The fight was getting more intense. Merlin had flipped Cenred onto his back and was just about to kill him when a sudden shout from the doorway stopped him.
   "ENOUGH!" boomed the voice of their Uncle Agravaine who stood in the doorway, flanked by Gaius.
   "But he--!" Both brothers shouted, only to be interrupted.
   "NO! WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKING A FELLOW PACK MEMBER, REGARDLESS OF WHAT HE'S DONE!"
   That's when several Alphas rushed into the room to restrain Merlin, Arthur, and Cenred in turn, just as Merlin was about to make a move in Cenred's direction once more.
   He yelled as he was restrained. "HOW COULD YOU? I SPARED YOUR LIFE AND WELCOMED YOU INTO MY PACK AND MY HOME WITH OPEN ARMS! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!"
   Cenred was deadly calm as he raised his dark eyes up to meet Merlin's which were glowing gold from anger. "Because she is my true mate."
                            * * * * *
   Merlin and Arthur had been taken into the war room to talk with Agravaine following Cenred's confession.
   "You don't honestly believe that?!" Arthur was shouting. "He fucking raped our sister and what, we let him get away with it?!"
   "Arthur's right." Merlin said. "We need proof of his claims and he still needs to be punished!"
   "If I were the two of you, I'd be more worried about yourselves." Agravaine responded quietly. "You both attacked a fellow pack member with intent to kill. You'll both have to be punished as well. Normally, the penalty is death. However, since this has extenuating circumstances, I will think of something a bit less severe. In the meantime, we need to meet up with the others to discuss what to do about Cenred. I expect you both to keep your word about you."
   "How can you be so calm after what he did?"
   "How can you not? You both have true mates. You know how hard it is to restrain yourselves."
   "I NEVER WOULD'VE RAPED ROSE!" Merlin shouted.
   "AND I NEVER WOULD'VE TOUCHED GWEN WITHOUT HER PERMISSION!" Arthur added.
   "BOTH OF YOU WILL CONTROL YOUR TEMPER OR I WILL RESTRAIN YOU!!" Agravaine shouted, finally losing his cool. "Now we will discuss what to do with Cenred then you two will receive your punishments as well. I'm warning you that if you do not control yourselves throughout the proceedings, the punishment will be much more severe."
                            * * * * *
   The table in the war room was surrounded by weres, mostly Alphas. Merlin, Arthur, and Agravaine sat beside one another with Agravaine in between the two brothers. Rose sat on Merlin's other side. They also had present Leon, Will, Gwaine, Percival, Odin, and Cedric.
   A few of Cenred's Alphas also sat around the table. At the head of them was Cenred's sister, Morgause, a blond haired female Alpha who wore a tight red dress. Then there were two more female Alphas: Zelena, a red-head with a temper, and Ingrid, a blond who always wore white and had a number of pups. Off to the side stood Vex, a male Alpha with a penchant for controlling people with his powers.
   Gaius and Nyx sat in between the two groups, both staying quiet.
   Agravaine took a deep breath as he began, "So as everyone of you know, we have been called here on account of an accident that occurred less than an hour ago. One of our Omegas who was in heat was attacked by Alpha Cenred who proceeded to mate her against her will. Our first and only order of business...what his punishment shall be."
   "He should be put to death!" Gwaine said, repeating what Merlin and Arthur had said earlier.
   "Agreed." Odin responded. "We have rules in this pack for a reason. If we allow him to go off scott free, it'll be like telling all Alphas they can do as they please!"
   "There is one small problem." Merlin said. "As much as I would love to punish him with death, it has been brought to our attention that Cenred is in fact, Morgana's true mate."
   A gasp rang out among the group. Gaius spoke up. "Unfortunately, Cenred's claims are true. I have run extensive tests and they are in fact, true mates. We cannot kill Cenred without killing Morgana as well."
   "That also means we cannot banish him either." Arthur growled in anger. "She would have no choice but to go with him and I am not sending my baby sister out into the wild with only that wanker for protection!"
   "On top of that, Cenred is an asset." Cedric added. "He is an excellent hunter, tracker, and fighter. It would be better to keep him here."
   Morgause cleared her throat. "Alpha Merlin, I am not saying that my brother should go unpunished but I feel that if you were to bring harm to him, not only would it harm Morgana, but you would've made an enemy of me as well. Let Cenred stay. There are better ways of punishing him. Besides, our pack can help yours in many ways." A wicked smile played on her lips.
   "Do not think to manipulate me, woman!" Merlin growled.
   "She has a point." Ingrid spoke up. "It would be a mistake to banish Cenred. He is useful. Besides, if you do, he may seek retribution."
   "Not to mention that we have bigger problems at the moment." Vex reminded, a mischievous grin on his face. "Those ferals seek to steal our precious Omegas and I, for one, intend to make sure that doesn't happen. And let's not forget the rumors of hunters hiding about." He giggled.
    "As mad as Vex is," Leon said, clearing his throat, "he does have a point. We need as much help as we can get."
   Agravaine spoke up. "I propose that we start by lowering Cenred's status. He no longer will have any kind of control over his former pack. He will lose all privileges of an Alpha and not be allowed to take another mate. And he will not have a public ceremony. We'll put him on probation and see what more needs to be done from that point on."
   Around the table, the rest seemed to agree. "Good. Then this meeting is over." Everyone left the room, save for Merlin, Arthur, and Agravaine. "I have decided on the best punishment for the two of you. You will receive lashes and will not be allowed to leave your rooms until Morgana's heat has passed. I will take care of business until then. Now go."
  The pair of Alphas left the room.

  Arthur immediately rushed to his room to rest. Gwen was sitting on the edge of the bed, her purple robe barely covering her body. The reaction in Arthur's pants was immediate.
   "Gwen, I need you. Now."
   She smiled as she melted into his arms. He kissed her roughly, slipping his tongue into her mouth. His hands wandered across her beautiful brown skin. He pulled her robe off completely, revealing her body. Without hesitation, he ducked his head down to capture a nipple in his mouth.
   He grasped one of her thighs with his hand as his other wandered down to cup her sex. "Get on the bed!" He growled.
   She practically fell on it then he entered her, throwing her legs over his shoulders so he could pound into her deeply...

   Morgana was laying across the furs in the Omega Den, worry clouding her mind as Rose tried to feed her some chicken. She had been forbidden to see Cenred until an agreement was reached.
   "I don't like this!" She moaned.
   "Morgana, what happened?" Rose asked, her curiosity overwhelming her.
   "I don't remember much other than him opening the door and coming inside. He told me that I was his but he wouldn't hurt me because I was too precious."
   "Do you want to be mated to him?" Rose asked.
   Morgana let out a small smile. "Actually, I do. I told you that I always wanted to be with my true mate and here he is. Now I know what you meant when you said that you felt like it was where you were meant to be. I feel like I belong with Cenred. Maybe it isn't how I envisioned it would happen but I feel...safe I guess is the word."
   Rose nodded. "Well as long as you're happy I guess. It just seems odd."
   "It's ok, sis. I think I can help him. I can make him a better man and a better Alpha. He just needs a chance."
   Rose sat down then, wondering if maybe Morgana was right...
