Aphmau's POV
I stared at his fangs, unable to move.

"This going to hurt..." he warned, pulling me closer to him. I tried to move my arms, to hug him, but I couldn't move.

"W-What-"

"Its temporary... you'll be able to move again after this, I promise." He whispered, I didn't question how he knew,

"K-Kay..." I mumbled. Aaron ran his fingers through my hair.

Then he bit me.

Aaron's POV
Aphmau's heartbeat increased, and the scent of fear grew stronger. She whimpered, holding back tears,

"Shh..." I felt her loosen, and then go limp. I pulled away, and she was unconscious. The pain must have made her pass out. I carefully layed her onto my bed and tucked her in, watching the small bite mark on her neck shift, into a small red crescent moon. I glanced in a neaehg mirror, and saw a purple crescent moon appear in the exact same spot on myself. I kissed Aphmau on the forehead, and went to go get her things with Katelyn.

I stood outside of Garroth's door, with Katelyn. My hood was up, and my bandanna was around my eyes. Travis was watching Aphmau,

"Ready?" I asked, and Katelyn nodddd. I knocked on the door. It opened to reveal Garroth.

"Hmm? Oh. Hi Katelyn, Aaron, what are you doing here? Where's Aphmau?" He asked, I bit my tongue to keep from growling,

"Aphmau, isn't living with you anymore. We're here to get her stuff. She knows your cheating on her." Katelyn said, her voice deathly quiet,

"Garroth? Who's at the door?" Jenny came up behind Garroth and gasped, pushing herself in front of Garroth and hugging me,

"Aaron! It's been too long, I missed you!" She exclaimed.

"Get off me." I growled, pushing her away roughly. She stumbled into Garroth.

"I'll go grab her things." Katelyn pushed past them and inside.

"Hey! You can't just walk in like that!" Jenny exclaimed,

"Watch me brat!" Katelyn snarled, marching up the stairs. I followed her in.

"You should leave. I'll take care of them." Garroth said to Jenny, she nodded and left the house. Garroth went into the kitchen. Katelyn came back down with a couple bags,

"Damn jerk didn't even let her have her own luxuries." She growled, as Garroth came back out holding a knife. We both tensed as he pointed it at us.

"Give her back." He demanded, I responded with a snarl.

"She isn't yours Aaron. She's mine. So give her back!" He demanded, I laughed twistedly,

"Funny story, y'know. She wasn't very happy when I told her you were using her, and cheating on her. She realized, that maybe I care just a touch more, then you ever did." I told him. He growled. Then he threw the knife at Katelyn.
Her eyes widened, and I pushed her out of the way, the knife landing in my side. I forced a laugh,

"You'll regret that." I told him through gritted teeth, as he back away, and I approached him. I backed him into a corner, balled up my fists, and my fist collided with his jaw. I backed away as he slumped to the ground, unconscious. Then Katelyn put her phone in her pocket.

"Police are on their way, you get back to Aphmau. Your hurt pretty badly." She said, I nodded reluctantly and she helped me across the street. I went inside, and saw Travis asleep on the couch, while Aphmau sat next to him watching Netflix, cuddling a pillow. She turned to see me, and her eyes widened in fear, as she ran over and hugged me,

"Aaron! What happened?!" She exclaimed,

"Garroth was stupid enough to throw a knife at Katelyn..." I muttered, Aphmau turned to Katelyn, with worry written all over her face.

"I'm fine, you take care of Aaron, and I'll bring your stuff up." Katelyn said. I made myself stop leaning on her, and wobbled. Aphmau took Katelyn's place, and I ended up leaning on her.

"Let's go get you cleaned up..." she said quietly,

Aphmau's POV
I was quiet after Aaron finished explaining everything.

"Your an idiot..." I told him finally, holding back tears,

"Its better then Katelyn being dead..." he replied,

"Your still an idiot." I said, he chuckled, and winced. I finished bandaging his wound, and hugged him.

"Your a potato." He countered,

"No..." I looked up at him and gently tapped my red crescent moon marking. "I'm your potato." He blushed, and I did too. Then he smiled, as I blushed more and looked away

"No... we were both wrong." He said, and I looked up at him confused. As he stood up, grabbing my hand, he pulled me up against him gently, and wrapped his arms protectively around me.

"Your my Luna.~"

Aaron's POV
"W-What will happen to Garroth?" Aphmau asked, as we pulled away from each other,

"At the very least, he's going to jail for attempted murder." I told her, she yawned quietly.

"Tired?" I asked, and she nodded. I chuckled lightly, before picking her up bridal style, and carrying her up to their room. I layed her in the bed and pulled the covers up for her,

"A-Aaron?" Aphmau grabbed my hand,

"Hm?" I knelt down beside her,

"I... I wanted to ask... a-about bot being able to m-move... right... b-before you marked me..." she said, gazing up at me. I sighed, knowing I couldn't avoid this,

"I-Its... part of my curse..." I said, "You... you stared at my fangs, and that can paralyze any werewolf... except my Luna... I... I'm sorry..." I told her, she smiled and nodded,

"Its okay Aaron... I was just confused..." she said. I kissed her forehead, and then left, as she fell asleep.

Katelyn was downstairs with Travis,

"Everything went well?" I asked,

"Yep. She woke up, and... I may or may not have had to lock her in your room for a bit to stop her from running to you... but after a while she calmed down, and we mostly watched Netflix." Travis said, I chuckled a little.

"I guess... that's to be expected." I said quietly,

"Aaron... are you sure everything will be okay?" Katelyn asked, "Aphmau told me about... Ein..."

"He literally got on his hands and knees, and begged me to let him in the pack." I sighed, "What else was I supposed to do? We have a reputation for caring about others, and letting Loners join us." I sighed,

"I understand... I just don't trust him after what he did..." Katelyn said. Travis put his arm around her,

"Don't worry baby~ I'll protect you from him.~" he said,

"What have I told you about pet names?" She asked, I snorted, as Travis flinched.

"Sorry!" He exclaimed. Katelyn laughed,

"I'll let it slide... just this once..." she told him, pecking his cheek.

"How do you think Zan will react to all of this?" I asked,

"Frankly, I don't think Zane will care. Aphmau is his best friend, he won't care what happens to Garroth, as long as it's bad." Katelyn said,

"Laurance?" I asked,

"Laurance is going to be mad at Garroth, for using and cheating on her, and he will be mad at you for marking her." Travis stated, I laughed,

"Yeah, probably." I sighed.

Suddenly, the door burst open.

"WE HEARD WHAT HAPPEND!!" Zane yelled,

"WHERE'S APHMAU?!" Laurance exclaimed,

"Speak of the devil." Katelyn said,

"Shh! Aph is sleeping, she's tired." I gestured up the stairs,

"Oh." Zane half-whispered,

"In your bed?" Laurance asked, glaring at me,

"Laurance I swear to Irene if you wake up Aph-"

"What's going on?" Aphmau rubbed her eyes, coming down the stairs, interrupting Katelyn.

Katelyn turned to Zane and Laurance, with a deadly expression.

"Oh, Zane... Laurance... I guess you heard what happened..." Aphmau sighed. Her ears and tail were out, but flattened and lowered.

"Did he hurt you?! I AM GOING TO KILL THAT STUPID BROTHER OF MINE!!" Zane ran over and hugged Aphmau, who laughed quietly,

"I'm fine Zane..." she promised, yawning, "I don't need Garroth, not when I have all of you."

"Does that mean I have a chance?" Laurance asked hopefully, making me, Katelyn, and Travis laugh.

"Heh, sorry Laurance... I've already realized who I love." She said,

"Me?" He asked,

"No!" She laughed,

"Wait, then who?" Zane asked. Aphmau glanced nervously at me, I sighed.

"I'm right here." I said, making Aph giggle.

"Aaron?!" Laurance exclaimed,

"Zane! Laurance~kun!! What made you run off so fast?!" Kawaii~chan appeared in the doorway, panting.

"Kawaii~chan!" Zane ran over to her, "Sorry! I just, had to make sure Aph was okay after I found out what happened."

"Did Zane just apologize?" Katelyn asked, "Is he sick?"

"No you doofus, she's my girlfriend, and I left her behind. So I need to apologize." Zane glared at her,

"What happened to Aphmau~senpai?" Kawaii~chan asked, and we told the story for the 3rd time.
