Aphmau's POV (still)
The window shattered, and a small girl was on the ground in front of us.

"Okay... not my best idea..." she muttered. I pushed Aaron off me, and looked over at her. She had golden blond hair, and was a werewolf with silvery fur. Her ears and tail were purple tipped, and her hair was about waist length. She had a purple hoodie on and black sweatpants. The girl looked up, and her eyes widened when she saw us. Aaron stood up and started towards her. Both our ears and tail popped out. The girl squealed, and tried to run back out the window. He grabbed her by the hood, and held her up. She went limp, and the scent of fear increased greatly.

"What do you think your doing?" He growled.

"I'm sorry!" She squeaked.

"That doesn't answer my question!" He shook her a little. She pulled her hands up to her face, whimpering.

"Please..." she mumbled.

"Aaron stop!" I stood up, as he went to shake her again.

"Put her down, she's just a child." I told him. He turned to me. His eyes were bloodshot red. With a sigh, he put the girl down, but still kept a tight grip on her. I walked over, and gently rested my hand on her shoulder. She stiffened and looked up at me. Her eyes were magenta, and tear-filled. I noticed a huge, unhealed scar over her left eye. It was gushing blood, and she kept her left eye closed because of it.

"What happened to your eye?" I asked gently, her ears flattened.

"He cut it... because I didn't want to help him... the w-window reopened it..." she mumbled.

"Who?" I asked.

"I don't know... he made me do this... he was gonna h-hurt my sister..."

"What did he look like?"

"H-he had blue eyes... and blond hair... but his eyes changed between green and blue... h-he had peach tanned skin... and was fairly tall..."

"That sounds like Garroth..." Aaron said. I looked up at him, he had closed his eyes, and his fists were clenched.

"Where's your sister now?" I asked.

"H-he has her... a-and he's going t-to kill her..." she broke down crying. I pulled her into a hug, and looked up at Aaron.

"Where are they?" Aaron growled.

"A-a-across the s-st-street... i-in an a-alleyway..." she stuttered. He jumped out the window.

"W-wait! P-please... d-don't h-hurt her..." she begged, running over. I followed her. Aaron glanced over, and nodded, before running off.

3rd Person POV
"Come on, let's get you cleaned up." Aphmau gently took the small girl's hand, and led her to the bathroom, where she managed to clean the deep cut and bandage it.

"Thank you..." the girl murmured.

"What's your name?" Aphmau asked.

"I-it's Kaiya..." she replied, "w-what's yours?..."

"I'm Aphmau." Aphmau smiled gently, as she finished wrapping the bandages around Kaiya's minor injuries.

Meanwhile...

Aaron walked across the street, and went into the nearest alleyway. Garroth turned around as he heard his approach, and his eyes flickered from their usual baby blue, to an emerald green.

"Aaron." He growled.

"Garroth." Aaron growled right back.

"Guess that little girl failed to do her job." Garroth growled, "What'd you do to her? Kill her?"

"YOU BETTER NOT HAVE HURT MY SISTER!!" A blond werewolf, with silvery ears and a tail tipped with pink, and magenta eyes, yelled, sounding strained. She had a large scar across her right cheek, and wore a torn pink hoodie and jeans. Her arms were littered with cuts and bruises, and she had a black eye.

"Shut up!" Garroth yelled, throwing a knife at her. It landed right at feet, and she squealed, scooting back to the trash bins. Her arms and legs were tied.

"Leave her alone." Aaron growled.

"Or what?" Garroth asked, "You'll kill me?"

"What happened Garroth?" Aaron asked sadly, "This went from you being a bad boyfriend, to being arrested for attempted murder! Why?..."

Garroth faltered, as if he couldn't answer. He quickly shook it off, but Aaron was already in front of him. A quick collision between his fist and Garroth's jaw sent the blond crumpling to the ground. Aaron sighed, and turned to the girl. She squeaked and looked up at him, wide-eyed and scared. He knelt down and untied her.

"Come on." He ordered, helping her stand. She stumbled and instinctively grabbed him, to steady herself.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"You came from that house... didn't you?" She glared at him, and backed away. "What do you want?! Where's my sister?!"

Aaron didn't answer, he didn't have the patience for this. Instead, he grabbed her and hoisted her over his shoulders, walking back to the house while she started yelling.

"HEY!! PUT ME DOWN! LET ME GO!"

Aaron ignored her, and went back to the house, going in through the door. He left the girl on the couch, as Aphmau rushed over, with Kaiya behind her.

"Taiya!" Kaiya exclaimed, rushing over to her sister.

"Aaron?" Aphmau went up to him, as Aaron grabbed his bandanna and tied it around his eyes.

"Kaiya?! Your okay! Oh thank Irene, I thought you had gotten hurt!" The other girl, Taiya, embraced her sister.

"What happened?" Aphmau asked, as Aaron sighed.

"Garroth. I think, I don't know, he had green eyes, but looked exactly like him!" Aaron sighed, sitting down a seat from the hugging sisters.

"Kaiya, I'm... I'm fine..." Taiya assured her sister.

Then passed out on the couch.

Aaron's POV
As soon as the other girl passed out, her sister started freaking out.

Aphmau rushed to assure her, while I grabbed the phone and called the hospital.

Apparently their names are Kaiya, the purple tipped one, and Taiya, the pink tipped. After Aph managed to calm down Kaiya, she managed to explain what had happened to them while the ambulance was on the way.

"We're orphans... and, every orphanage we've been to, they haven't been good caretakers..." she explained, "sometimes we even got hit by the caretakers, for misbehaving. Nobody would adopt us, because who wants two werewolves?" She sighed, "After awhile, we got tired of it and ran away. Then, that guy... Garroth... he showed up, and we saw him talking to someone... he caught us listening, and almost killed us... but I guess he decided not too, thinking we could help him... so he told me to break in, and..." she sniffled, and gulped, "and..."

"And?" I asked.

"H-he want m-me t-to... k-kill y-you..." she sniffled.

"Kaiya... how old are you?" Aphmau asked gently.

"I... I'm 14... Taiya is my twin..."

Whoa.

"This is getting out of hand..." Aphmau muttered, "what started as a break up, escalated into him making a 14 year-old, try to kill us... something isn't right." The door burst open, and paramedics rushed in. We all backed away, as they rushed Taiya out to the ambulance. We followed them.

"Are you the family?" One of them asked us.

"I'm her sister!" Kaiya exclaimed.

"And you two?" He asked us.

Aphmau glanced at me, then at Kaiya, then at the ambulance.

"No, but I request that we sit with them in the ambulance. They shouldn't have to deal with this on their own." Aphmau said.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but we're only allowed to let the family and legal guardians ride-"

"She's my adopted mother, and he's her boyfriend." Kaiya blurted, glancing at us. I blinked.

I didn't sign up for this.

Aphmau seemed just as stunned, but quickly shook it off.

"Right." She nodded.

"Fine." He opened the door, and a female paramedic helped Kaiya and Aphmau get in, while I followed. She had pink hair, and seemed familiar.

"Is she going to be okay?!" Kaiya asked.

"She passed out from blood loss right? She should be fine. The doctors will fix her up in no time." The medic replied, smiling faintly.

"Wait a minute- Luka?!" Aphmau exclaimed.

"Wait, Katelyn's ex-girlfriend?" I asked.

"Aphmau?! Wait, did you just refer to me as Katelyn's ex-girlfriend? I have a name y'know!" She glared at me slightly, and Aphmau snickered.

"Sorry!" I held my hands up in surrender.

"Hey, I remember you, your Aaron." She said.

"Yes, that's my name." I sighed.

"Your a paramedic?" Aphmau asked.

"Yep!" Luka replied, smiling proudly. Kaiya coughed.

"I hate to interrupt the reunion, but we have bigger problems then names." She sighed.

"Right, in any case, your sister should be just fine. Hey wait, Aaron since when were you a werewolf? And, YOU TWO HAD KIDS?!"

"Uh..." I trailed off.

"NO! We aren't the parents! We just said that so Kaiya wouldn't be alone." Aphmau said quickly, suddenly red. Kaiya laughed a little nervously, scratching the back of her head.

"Wait, so are you orphans?" Luka asked.

"Uh... yeah..." Kaiya said.

"So you'll be going to the orphanage after this..." Luka muttered. Aphmau's ears perked up. Kaiya's ears flattened.

"Yeah..." she sighed.

"We're here." Luka said, as the ambulance stopped. The doors opened, and she rushed Taiya out.

We ended up waiting with Kaiya outside the room.

"Family of..." a doctor trailed off. Kaiya muttered something.

"Unknown." The doctor sighed.

Kaiya ran over. Aphmau followed her, but I stayed back. They three of them talked, and then they came back.

"She's fine, but won't be released until tomorrow. We can't see her until then either. Apparently she fell asleep." Aphmau sighed. I nodded, and Kaiya sniffled.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Aphmau asked me, I nodded, and followed her away.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Yes, no, I guess? I've been thinking, and I don't want those girls to go to the orphanage, but I don't want them living on the streets." Aphmau sighed.

"You want... to adopt them? For real?" I asked.

"Yeah... I think so. We don't have to, obviously if your not okay with it!" She said quickly.

"Hey, don't worry." I kissed her forehead, "It's a great idea. As long as their okay with it." She smiled brightly, and nodded. We went back over.

"Hey, Kaiya?" Aphmau asked.

"Yeah?..." She looked up.

"How would you feel... if Aaron and I adopted you?..." Instantly, the child's mood changed.

"Really?!" She asked excitedly, "I'd love that! I'm sure Taiya would too!" Aphmau smiled.

"Of course! We just talked about it, and as long as your both okay with it, we will." She replied.

"So... I guess I need to call you mom and dad now, huh?" She asked. I felt my face heating up suddenly. Aphmau turned pink.

"I mean, you don't have to..." She muttered. I laughed nervously.

"We should get going, it's getting late." I said. Aphmau and Kaiya nodded. Suddenly, Aphmau's phone started ringing.

"Hello?" She answered it, then immediately held the phone away from her ear. I could hear Zane.

"APHMAU! WHERE ARE YOU?! I JUST CAME DOWN, AND THIS PLACE LOOKS LIKE IT'S BEEN RANSACKED!!" Zane screamed.

"Zane~kun! Stop panicking! She answered the phone, which means she's okay!" Kawaii~chan's voice carried over.

"Zane! We're fine. We are at the hospital-"

"WHAT?! I'M ON MY WAY! DON'T DIE ON ME!" He yelled, interrupting Aphmau. The phone beeped, signaling he had hung up. The doors burst open, and an angry emo being held back by a pink-haired meif'wa was there.

"ZANE! STOP. PANICKING!" Kawaii~chan exclaimed. Aphmau jumped up, and rushed over. I followed, with Kaiya behind me.

"What's going on?" She asked, confused.

"Just... a friend of ours." I explained.

"Zane! Calm down, we're fine!" Aphmau exclaimed.

"You are? Wait then why are you here?!" Zane exclaimed.

"My sister is in the hospital... she passed out from blood loss." Kaiya explained, looking up at him. Kawaii~chan started making some kind of noise, like a cross between a scream, yell, giggle, and a dying llama. Zane blinked.

"YOU HAD KIDS?!" He yelled.

"NO!" Aphmau exclaimed, "They were being hurt by Garroth, and we helped them! We're going to adopt them." She explained, patting Kaiya, who smiled a little, raising her ears.

"Oh, that's not so bad. Oh yeah, I brought-"

"APHMAU!" Katelyn jumped on her.

"AH!" Aphmau yelped.

"KATELYN! STOP JUMPING ON HER!" Travis yelled.

"We heard what happened!" Lucinda exclaimed, jogging over with Kim.

"Are you all okay?" Kim asked worriedly.

We ended up explaining everything again, and finally we went home. Zane moved back in with Laurence, and I fixed the guest room for Kaiya. Finally, me and Aph were alone in our room.

"What a night..." Aphmau sighed, laying back in her bed. I laughed.

"What now?" She asked breathlessly.

"Well..." I leaned over top of her, pinning her to the bed.

"We could always finish what we started earlier~."

In all honesty, I might write a lemon next chapter. Y'all keep asking for it, and it's Valentines day, and I guess it wouldn't dirty my mental being any more then it already is.

Also, just so you don't start saying it wrong, Kaiya is pronounced Kai-a, and Taiya is pronounced Tay-a.
