I was sitting in Michael car pissed off I can't believe I agreed to go to dinner with him.

"I'm sorry." He said again

"How dare you ambush me with your parents!? I told you I wasn't ready to meet them. We aren't even on good terms! Why would you think that shit was ok!?" I snapped letting go of the anger I was holding in, I wanted to slap the shit out of him

"They wanted to meet you,"

"They didn't act like it! Especially your drunk ass mama!"

"Don't talk about my mother."

"Whatever take me home now!"

"No we still need to talk.'

"That's what this dinner was for and you ambushed me with your parents! We don't have nothing else you talk about, you are a habitual line stepper and I'm done with it." I snapped and he shook his head

"Your overreacting calm down."

"You know what stop the fucking car!" I snapped

"I'm not stopping the car you need to calm the fuck down!"

"Don't talk to me like that! You were wrong, for putting me in this situation. Then you sat there and let your mother disrespect me all night."

"I spoke up for you."

"After I cussed her out, you're supposed to have my back."

"I have your back but that is still my mother." He said as he pulled in front of my building

"Well have a nice relationship with your mama." I snapped then got out the car slamming the door behind me.

"Lauren!" I heard him shout as he followed me, I walked faster as he caught up with me and grabbed my arm

"Don't fucking walk away from me!"

"Don't put your damn hands on me." I said trying to push him off

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"Leave me alone."

"No you been tripping for a while now, what the fuck is wrong with you?" He snapped and I shook my head and tried to pull away from but he held my arm tight

"Who is he? Who you been fucking?" He snapped a shaking me, I kneed him in the balls causing him to bend over then I punched him in the face.

"If you come back over here, you're going to regret it."

I wasn't weak at all I fought bitches all the time but if he kept it up I was going to make a call and he would be gone.

"Um open the door we want to go in the club." Sasha said

"Oh my bad." I said opening the door and we got out of the Uber,

"Look I don't know what you've been pouting about for the past few days, but we're having fun tonight." Jaz said as she wrapped her arm around me as I led the way to the door, and Trey the doorman let us inside

Turns out this night was just what I needed, I could stop smiling as we left the dancefloor again and sat back in our booth

"Woo I'm having so much fun." Sasha said as we caught our breaths

"I need a drink." Jaz said and Myia nodded

"I got this round." I said getting up

"We need to get bottle service." Jaz said and I shook my head

"You got bottle service money?" I heard Myia say as I walked towards the bar

"Hey Lauren."

"Hey Crystal, I need another round."

"Everything the same?"

"Yes ma'am." I sang

"I got you girl." She said and I got the money

"No let me get that for you." The man standing next to me said and forced a smile

"Nah I'm good."

"Aww come on ma, I'm just trying to be nice."

"And I'm nicely turning it down, no thank you."

"Then how about a dance?" He asked stepping closer

"I'm good."

"Let's have some fun, ain't that what we here for?"

"She said she good." I heard behind me and I slowly closed my eyes then I turned to face Cane
