~Percy's POV~

It hurt. The pain if heartbreak. There was Jason, my boyfriend Jason, making out with Drew Tanaka daughter of Aphrodite. He was sitting on his bed with Drew on his lap. Her hands were in Jason's hair while his hands were on the back of Drew's head and the other hand was on her back. It was like an arrow went through my heart. 

"Mm. Jason." Drew moaned. I felt sick from hearing those words come out of the daughter of Aphrodite's mouth. My mind is buzzing, I can't think. I silently closed the door. The tears were flowing like a river. How could he? Did these past 4 years mean nothing to him?! 

We were gonna be a family. My right hand covered my mouth as my left one moved onto my stomach. I stared at the front door. I just, I can't believe it. I ran back to my cabin, ignoring all the looks I got from passing campers. 

I reached my cabin and slammed the door shut. I leaned against the door and sobbed. I slid down the door and brought my knees to my chest. The tears wouldn't stop pouring. I pulled myself together and got up.

I grabbed a backpack and started packing up clothes, items, along with ambrosia and nectar.  I can't stay here, not after this. I can't go to my mom's, she has my little sister and I don't want to give her any troubles. I can't go to my dad's, his family wouldn't want me and again I don't want to be a problem.

I went over to my bedside table to grab a pen and a piece of paper. As I reached for the pen I saw a photo. It was a picture of me and Jason on our first Christmas. We were wearing matching Christmas sweaters and kissing each other with a mistletoe hanging above us. I felt more tears run down my face from just thinking about that memory. 

I grabbed the piece of paper, along with a pen, and wrote

Dear Camp Demigod,

I, Persues Jackson, am leaving camp. It's a hard thing to do but I can't stay here anymore. The reason behind this is Jason. I found him making out with Drew Tanaka in his cabin. The heartbreak was too much for me to bare so leaving camp is best. Don't try to look for me because you won't find me. I won't be at my mom's or dad's. I love all of you, don't forget that. And Jason, I still love you. I could never stop.

I obviously wrote this in Ancient Greek. I left the note on my bed and flew my backpack onto my shoulders. I reached into my jeans pocket and Riptide was there. I need to get out of camp asap but it's still day, I'll get caught. I looked at the back of my cabin and saw a window. I smiled but I was still crying. 

I walked over to the window and opened it. If I ran I would be able to make it to the woods and out of the borders. I prepared myself and jumped out of the window. I sprinted towards the woods and made it. No one saw me. 

My left hand was holding the strap to my backpack that was still on my shoulders. I started walking away from Camp Demigod, my home. I placed my right hand onto my stomach and smiled.

"I promise I'll protect. Forever and always."

~Annabeth's POV~

I walked over to the Poseidon/Neptune cabin. Campers had seen Percy running to his cabin and then slamming the door shut. They all told me since we're best friends. I made it to his cabin and knocked on the door. No answer.

"Seaweed brain?" I asked, knocking again. There was no answer. "Percy?" I knocked again, no answer. "Percy?!" I banged on his door, worry laced in my voice. No. Answer. From what the campers said, he looked upset, heck some even said he was crying. Percy also always answers his door, he doesn't like to worry us.

I knocked 4 times and I got no reply. I kicked open his door. I am not in the mood for games or for waiting. His cabin looked clean, normal. Though, I noticed immediately that it lacked a lot of Percy's stuff. There was something on his bed. 

I walked over to the bed and saw a piece of paper with writing in Ancient Greek on it. I picked it up and without reading it I could tell it was Percy's handwriting. I read through the letter and finished with tears in my eyes. Percy left? He's gone?! How could Jason?! Rage and sadness filled me. 

I ran out of the cabin and dashed to the big house. Chiron was on the porch, smiling, but when he saw me, his face showed worry. I made it to him, panting. 

"Annabeth, what's wrong?" He asked, gently. 

"Chiron, I need you to call Nico, Will, Calypso, Reyna, and the seven minus Percy here, please." He nodded and went off to gather the group. I'm not gonna tell the camp right away, so we don't worry anyone. 

Chiron returned with nine people. They all looked confused and Jason's hair was messy. I internally scowled at the son of Jupiter.

"What's wrong Annie?" Piper asked, concern laced in her voice. The tears threatened to spill more than they already have. Piper grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"Where's Percy?" Jason asked, concerned. I took a deep breath.

"He's gone." Everyone looked at me, wide-eyed. 

"What? He can't be gone. He's not dead!" Nico said, getting worked up, he and Percy were like brothers. Will gave him a hug.

"Annabeth, continue," Will said, nicely. 

"I went to his cabin and he wasn't there. But I found this note." I read them all the note and their eyes were wide. Tears in our eyes and we were glaring at Jason. He looked like he was gonna have a breakdown, tears were pouring out his eyes like rivers and he looked like he just got the wind knocked out of him. 

"Explains the messy hair," Calypso stated.

"You've got a lot of explaining to do, Grace!" Reyna yelled. 

"I, I didn't cheat on him, with Drew or anyone and if I did it wasn't on purpose! I swear it on the River Styx!" He yelled, his voice breaking from his tears. Thunder crackled and Jason was still here.

"Y-you didn't cheat on him," I said.

"No, I would never!"

"Well you had to of, maybe not on purpose, but it still happened," Leo stated. 

"Guys, are you forgetting something?" We all looked at Piper when she said that. "Drew Tanaka is my half-sister. She's a daughter of Aphrodite! And what perk do children of Aphrodite get?" 

We stared at her, eyes big and mouths opened. Jason broke and fell to the ground sobbing. Tears were in my eyes. 

"I'll go get her," Piper said, turning to make her way to the Aphrodite cabin. I followed her and grabbed her hand. I practically dragged Piper there with how fast I was moving. 

We made it to the cabin and I swung open the door. Drew was at her vanity reapplying her makeup. "Piper, Annabeth, so lovely for you to barge in here. What do you want?" She said, not taking her eyes off the mirror. 

I ran up to her and grabbed her wrist. Her eyes were wide with shock. I dragged her out of the cabin and back to the big house with Piper following us. When we got there I threw her to the ground. 

"You've got some explaining to do, Tanaka!" I yelled. She just 'tsked'.

After arguing and *ahem* threatening Drew, she unfolded like a piece of paper. We got it out of her. We got the answers. It wasn't Jason's fault but he does feel guilty. Just, where is Percy?

Hey readers! I'm happy people are enjoying my story! I'm probably gonna work on the next chapter right now. I'm trying to get better at updates but school sucks!
