-15 weeks in-

~Annabeth's POV~

For the past week, Jason and I have been planning our expedition. The map showed that Percy was in the middle of the ocean which is weird since there is no land around him. But he is a son of Poseidon, and Aphrodite was hiding him from the gods so I guess I don't need to worry about that. 

Jason and I packed up a ship with weapons and medical supplies. We only told Chiron and our group about the map and that we got it from a goddess. We never said which goddess, loophole. The rest of the campers just think that we are searching on the ocean because we have run out of options.

On the journey, it will be me, Jason, Nico, and Piper. Me and Jason coming are obvious, we each know about Aphrodite hiding Percy. I am Percy's best friend and Jason wants to make things right. Nico is coming because Percy and him were like brothers. Those two were super close. 

Then, Piper is coming because she does care about Percy but she also is worried about me. She is here to make sure I don't get too stressed. 

We all put the last items onto the ship and said goodbye. We took sail and so far we have had clear skies and steady water. Poseidon is watching over us now and the sea god hasn't been doing too well. He is really holding on to the fact that Percy isn't dead but the god seems to have aged. 

His jet black hair has streaks of grey in them. His sea green eyes lost their shine and only have the gleam of hope in them. I can tell that all the gods are watching us now. The determination on all of our faces must be enough to convince the gods about how sure we are that we will find him. 

I estimated the timing and we should get there tomorrow morning. It is currently evening. It's also quite shocking that we should arrive kind of quickly. I really hope all goes well...

-Midnight-

~Nico's POV~

My eyelids opened and I saw darkness. I sat up in my bed. I looked over and saw Annabeth and Piper in the same bed, cuddling. Annabeth had her arms around Piper and Piper had her arms around Annie's waist. 

I turned to my other side to look at Jason. He wasn't there. His blankets were folded over on the bed, showing the sheets and that someone was there.

I let out a groan while getting out of bed. I have to check on Jason and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. Jason has been on high security since Percy's disappearance. We're all scared of him harming himself.  

I do consider him a close friend so I do care. I walked up to a small staircase that leads to the top of the ship and was hidden under a trapdoor. The trapdoor was open and I know we closed it. 

I got off the stairs and looked around. I saw Jason leaning over the side of the boat, looking at something. I silently walked up next to him. I wasn't sure if he noticed me or not because he didn't say anything. I looked at his eyes and noticed that his gaze was fixed on the ocean.

He continuously watched the waves for a minute or so. I glanced back at Jason and saw a silent tear fall out of his eye and down his face. "Jason,"

"Oh, yeah, hey Nico." 

"Why aren't you sleeping?"

"I just- I couldn't sleep." He replied. We stood there in silence for a few seconds but then Jason continued, "I miss him, so much. We're so close."

"I know. I miss him too, he was like a brother to me, Jason. Let's go to bed, then we'll wake up and we should be there." I said, turning around and walking to the trapdoor. 

"Yeah," Jason said, looking back at the ocean then turning towards me and going down the trapdoor. He went over to his bunk and I went to mine.

With that, my eyes shut and I let myself slip into Morpheus' domain. 

-Next Day-

I felt myself being shaken. I opened my eyelids to see Piper's face. "Piper, get out of my face."

"Grumpy much?" She moved out of the way and I got up. 

"What do you want?" I asked her, raising an eyebrow.

"Nico, we're here!" She exclaimed, relieved and happy. 

"Why didn't you say so!" I said, racing to the stairs and going up, through the trapdoor. Piper followed me up. I looked over and saw Annabeth and Jason, looking over the edge of the boat. "Guys, what's going-" Then I saw it. "on." 

An island was there, sitting in the middle of the ocean. On no maps was an island in this area. We sailed right up to it stopping at its beach.

"We're here." Jason breathed.  

"Yeah, but where's Percy," Annabeth said. All of us were looking around. It wasn't a tropical beach, it was like a forest as it had pine trees growing all around. There were trails that went through it. 

"Guys, over here!" Annabeth called, waving us over. We all walked over to where she was and saw a small stone path. We all looked at each other and then started walking down it. 

~Percy's POV~

15 weeks in. Three months and about two weeks pregnant. I've gotten a bit of a bigger bump. I only wear sweaters or loose shirts and comfy pants. My cravings have started up a bit. I have started craving ice cream and pickles. 

So, I combined them together and it's really good! I have started eating a lot of spicy food as well. Just combing different foods and eating them. But, I did dye the food blue because blue food is the best. 

My child or children need/s to start eating blue food at a young age! However, I don't think my child or children like blue food because every time I eat blue food I throw it up. That hasn't been fun.

I'm currently just taking a walk on the trails in my forest. I decided to head to the beach so I made a left then a right. When I got off the trail and onto the sand it felt so much softer. I looked at the ocean and noticed something new.

A medium sized, pirate-like ship was there. I felt panic rise inside of me. There were people on my island. I thought no one could come to this island. It was supposed to be hidden from the gods and monsters. 

My eyes widen and I started running, as fast as I could with being pregnant, back onto the trails. Oh gods, who was here? What do they want? 

~Annabeth's POV~

We walked all through the forest, going off the path because Piper got distracted. 

"Hey, you all keep looking, I'm gonna go on the ship and circle the island, see if Percy is here but maybe on the outskirts," I stated. "Stay together." I ended, looking over my shoulder at all of them. They nodded, continuing the search. 

I was able to make my way to the beach, well I could hear the waves so that made it easier. I boarded our vessel and set off. I'm not the best sailor so I took the ship farther away from the island. When I got a little further from the island I was surprised by a voice. 

"Annabeth!"

That voice, I know that voice. It was in my head.

"Mom?"

"Yes, oh thank us that you are all okay. Why are Nico, Jason, and Piper not with you?" she said, frantically.

"They are on the island, looking for Percy."

"What island? You all just disappeared! Not even Fish Beard could detect you!"

"Mom, there was an island, we are positive that Percy's on it!" 

"Mhm. Well, we cannot see you all when you are on there! Be careful and try to destroy whatever makes it so we cannot see or speak to any of you."

With that, my mother's voice left me. At least they all care. I will say, over the years the gods have gotten better. I continued circling the island but saw no movement, at least from a human. There were animals on the island. 

I brought the ship back to the beach. I tied it down and went back through the woods. I ended up finding Nico, Jason, and Piper. I told them that I didn't find anything and I told them the whole conversation with my mother.

"How are we suppose to break something when we don't even know what that something is?" Piper asked. 

"Maybe it's like a shield, like at camp. We have Thalia's barrier." Nico suggested. 

"That's kind of what I was thinking. But I'm not sure how we should break it." I said.

We ended up coming to the agreement of just continuing the search for Percy. I really hope we find him.
