"Hyejin, yeah I know her." Haknyeon stuck his legs up onto the table, only for Jihoon to promptly push them off
"You aren't at home." He whispers
"She's in some club I'm in. What club am I in Jihoon?" Jihoon sighs heavily
"The dance club, idiot." Haknyeon points at him in realisation
"Yeah, that's the one. I know her from there." He looks back at me "So basically you're saying she likes me, and she's going to use you as a way to get close to me?"
"Pretty much, the other three girls are nice and don't really seem to care about any of you that much. Although they mentioned that she is, uh, not so nice." Haknyeon grimaces
"Ah, really?" He leans forward resting his right arm on the table and raises one eyebrow "Are her friends nice though?" Euiwoing throws his textbook at him
"That's my line, Haknyeon. Don't steal my thunder." He begins and then turns to me "Are her friends nice, Mijoo?" He grins at me
"Nice and older than than you, but I'm sure that doesn't stop you. Since I'm older than you too, I'm not sure what kind of person they like but it doesn't seem like it would be you." I tell him, his smiles drops and he flops backwards in his chair
"Careful, Euiwoong, you don't want to fall." Hyungseob says grabbing onto the younger's chair and holding it up
"Hey, don't lose hope I could be wrong." Euiwoong's eyes light back up
"True, I can never give up."
"You're just desperate." Jinyoung sighs taking a piece of chicken from Euiwoong's container
"Hey that's mine! Besides, if I was that desperate don't you think I'd be dating someone right now? I'm not last time I checked, so..." Euiwoong huffs and Jinyoung shrugs
"He has a point, Jinyoung." Daehwi points out, Jinyoung gives him a look "What? Am I wrong?" Woojin sighs and pats Daehwi on the back
"No, Daehwi, Jinyoung's just being stubborn. Anyway, Mijoo, are you going to spend time with them again?"
"I mean, if they ask me to yeah." Hyungseob reaches over and rests one of his hands on mine
"Just don't forget us, okay?" He looks at me expectantly
"Sure, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to forget you guys anyway with you being popular and all." I smile reassuringly at him and he smiles back happily

"Hey!" A voice barks but then suddenly changes into a singsong tone "Mijoo~." Yet another girl trying to get me to be her slave. I roll my eyes and stand up, heading towards a girl with medium length blonde dyed hair and makeup laid on so thick I'm amazed she hasn't been ordered to remove it - unless she did it just now. "Can you give this to Hyungseob for me?" I look at the note and then look over and Hyungseob, and I cringe
"Why should I?" I reply and she gives me a disgusted look
"Because, aren't you the delivery girl?" I scoff
"I never agreed to it, besides; are you too lazy to stand up? I can understand wanting to be anonymous but since you've called out to me and they can see where I am, they know who you are."
"I know that, but I figured you could use the exercise more." She giggles
"You really think walking the metres is going to burn some calories? Things don't work like that, so no, I won't give it to Hyungseob you can get up and give to him yourself. It takes courage for me to actually go and sit there everyday knowing that I'm judged so you can stand up, give someone a piece of paper and leave." I ramble, immediately covering my mouth after I'm done "Have a nice day." I say before sprinting back to where the others were
"Are you okay?" Jinyoung asks
"Are you deaf, you heard what happened right?" Jihoon judges him "I don't think she's okay." I bite my lip
"Daehwi, can we swap seats? I want to be in the best possible position when she comes over here so I don't get slapped." Daehwi nods and stands up, Woojin stands up too
"What are you doing, Woojin? You don't have to follow me." Woojin raises his eyebrows and nods
"I know, Jinyoung move, I'm going to be the one that hits her if she tries." Euiwoong lets out a whine
"That's also my line." He pouts "You're making me look bad in front of Mijoo, I can't be seen like this." Guanlin rolls his eyes
"Then stop pouting." He mutters and Jihoon snorts, Hyungseob holds back a laugh and Haknyeon lets out a giggle
"Shut up, Guanlin." Euiwoong whispers back, sinking into his chair. As soon as I sit down I notice her stand up, two other girls came with her. I didn't see her holding her letter so I knew that she's here for me.

"Hello, I'm here to talk to Mijoo." She smiles at them all, Hyungseob lets out a cough
"That letter you were talking about that's for me, can I have it? I wouldn't mind reading it." He says and the girl just about melts, she elbows one of her friends who produces the note and she hands it to him "I'll enjoy reading it." He smiles and Woojin rolls his eyes and sighs deeply, if we have remotely similar thoughts it will be something along the lines of; why is he taking that, does he realise that she isn't a good person? Being nice to her isn't helping the situation.
"Thank you Hyungseob." She grins at him "Now, Mijoo."
"Yes?" I say whilst looking at her directly in the eyes, trying to be as confident as possible. Update; three seconds in and I'm already failing.
"The way you talked to me, was not acceptable." She begins
"Implying that she's fat and using her like a toy also isn't but sure, continue." Jinyoung mutters under his breath and everyone, even Hyungseob, collectively nods in agreement.
"Anyways, ignoring that statement because I'm sure you don't mean it Jinyoung. Mijoo, you know who you're talking to right?" Jinyoung scoffs and whispers really quietly
"I meant that." Whilst I squint at her name tag; Lee Bomi it reads.
"You're Lee Bomi." I articulate.
"Yes, and messing with me is like messing with the law. So I'd watch out because I might get you arrested." Hyungseob almost chocks on air he's breathing
"Advice, never leave your house." He says, "Also thank you for the letter, Bomi, but I'm not interested in dating anyone at the moment so I'll pass on your offer. Also," she looks at him expectantly "you'd look better if you didn't cake makeup on your face like that." He says with a bright smile, she bites her lip and nods
"Thank you, Hyungseob. I'll take your suggestion into account next time I put on my makeup." She's practically fuming "Also, girls, you can do the honours." They both walk around to me, Woojin and Euiwoong stand up and follow them
"Going somewhere?" Woojin stares at them intensely
"No, here's fine." One says
"What are you doing?" Euiwoong questions them, they both shrug
"Not much, just this." They both flash out their arms to punch me, but I don't feel the impact. Instead I just hear a cracking and slapping sound "Ow, that's hurts." One whines and the other lets out a cry of pain. I find myself with my head much closer to the table and Jinyoung's hand on my back
"You okay, Mijoo?" He asks, I didn't respond at that exact moment. Woojin and Euiwoong drag both of the girls away from me and back to Bomi
"Well, that was supposed to be a bit more of a startling first warning but I guess that's good enough."
"You're right, it is good enough. I think she's startled enough as it is. Maybe other than the makeup you should work on fixing your attitude first. Attitude like that isn't very appealing." Hyungseob says, snapping slightly. Bomi gives him an offended look and she stalks away. "Sorry, that was really not like me." He apologises
"What are you apologising for?" Haknyeon gushes "That was the most amazing thing I've ever seen you do." Hyungseob blushes slightly
"Thanks." I give him very weak applause still not looking up from the table
"Are you okay, Mijoo?" Jinyoung asks me again, moving his hand from my back to my own hand. I nod slowly
"I-I almost got d-double punched, m-most likely in the f-face." I stutter, still not entirely sure how to respond "If this is warning one I'd really hate to see what the other warnings are." Jinyoung squeezes my hand, Guanlin pats me on the shoulder and Daehwi even reaches over the table and pats me on the head. The others also give me various forms of comfort,
"If you really need it, Mijoo, you know I'm right here." Euiwoong holds out his arms, suggesting a hug - Jihoon pushes him a little to try and tell him that his flirting isn't needed now. I give him a small smile and shake my head
"No, I'm okay."
"Are you really sure about that?" Jinyoung asks me, making sure I'm okay one more time
"I'm okay, thank you Jinyoung." I glance at his watch for the time "We should go to class, okay?" He takes a deep breath and nods
"Okay, lets go."
