I wasn't entirely sure how I was supposed to face Jinyoung, or any of them for that matter, after some of the things my mother mentioned to me last night. I knew making male friends would be something I'd regret. I slowly walk through the hall hoping that when I get to the classroom that maybe, just maybe, Jinyoung isn't attending school today. I woke up this morning with a cascade of messages from some of the others - Euiwoong in particular, and I'd rather not repeat them. They made me cringe to say the least. Daehwi decided to send me an emoticon filled paragraph with no specific topic and Jihoon was telling me about how if I ever needed any more help on that chemistry work, he'd be able to help. Slowly opening the door to the classroom I peek inside and spot Jinyoung already sitting at our desk, I shut the door. My mother did have a solid point when she pointed out that he's attractive but I don't need to marry him. I don't even need to get married, but she just went on and on.

"Are you going to go inside?" I voice speaks up from behind me, I slowly turn around and find myself face to face with a girl known as Minhee. We don't get along overly well and she's the only person from my middle school that came to this high school and the only person apart from Jinyoung that I knew prior to now.

"I was just about to, Minhee." I open the door wide and step aside "You may go in first." I was standing far enough away from the door for her to walk inside with ease but she decided to shove into me whilst she walked in, purely out of sheer pettiness.

"Watch it." She mutters, "Good morning, Jinyoung." She smiles at him and he gives her a small wave in return, his expressionless face didn't budge. I walk into the classroom right after and sit down

"Oh, you're here. That's good." He turns to me and gives me a small smile.

"Yeah." I mumble in response

"You should shut the door, Mijoo." Jinyoung says reaching past me to shut the door and block out some of the noise of the hallway. Minhee was still standing quite close to our desk, she was glaring at me - but then again, what girl here isn't?

"Mijoo, can I speak to you?" She moves herself closer to the desk and stares sharply at me,

"Yeah, what is it?" She eyes Jinyoung "Do you want me to leave or something?" He asks and Minhee shakes her head,

"No, it's okay you can stay. I just wanted to tell Mijoo something but I guess I'll just put in the effort to write it down." She grabs a piece of paper from the girl in from of her and borrows a pen from the same girl who looked quite annoyed to have stuff taken off of her. Minhee quickly wrote seething, neatly folded the paper and threw it at me before stalking off to her own desk.

"What do you think it says?" Jinyoung inquires leaning a little closer to try and see what it says, whilst I proceed to lean back - personal space is valued.

"Probably something about me staying away from you." I sigh and Jinyoung pulls a face "I'm not sure how that's possible." I shrug and read the note

Mijoo, stay away from Jinyoung at all costs. Including requesting to move desks, you can even swap with me ~ There's no way I'm letting you have Jinyoung, okay? — Minhee

I roll my eyes, "Request a seat change, how ridiculous." I snap under my breath. Jinyoung, noticing my poor attitude forcibly pulls the notes from my hand and reads it.

"Well," he huffs "isn't she going to enjoy the response she's going to get ." He pulls out his own piece of passer and begins scribbling, but he covered it up so I can't see what he's doing. He the folds it and walks over to Minhee's desk places it there and leaves

"Doing delivery service now? What are you, her slave?" Jinyoung didn't even react "No, this is a personal message." Minhee grins at me evilly

"Finally, he admits he likes me." Jinyoung holds back a snort of some description with some success whilst Minhee reads to note. Watching her face slowly fall was certainly amusing but it would be nice if a knew what he wrote. Soon, she was glaring at him too,

"What did you write?" I whisper to him, trying to hold back laughter as I watch Minhee fuming. "Can't say just now." I look around for a teacher, but no one had showed up yet

"What do you mean." He smiles at me

"It's something for a different time, not for now. Okay?" I nod, "If you say so."

"So, Mijoo, why didn't you respond to my messages?" Euiwoong says poking me in the arm with a chopstick. "How am I supposed to respond to that?" I reply, Jinyoung gives Euiwoong a look,

"What did you send her?" He asks, eyebrows arched

"Nothing much." Euiwoong shrugs, Jinyoung gives him a look "What? I didn't send anything bad." Jinyoung nods slowly and turns back to his food.

"When do you think we should all do another study session again?" Daehwi asks and most of us look at him weirdly "I don't want to I'm just asking, I need help with some of my classes since I have upcoming exams."

"You could also just message me after school and I'll help you." Woojin points out "I'm aware of that, Woojin, I just thought maybe someone else might need help."

"Not today, I'm busy." Haknyeon says

"You didn't even participated last time." Hyungseob protests,

"I know that but I'd still like to be present." Haknyeon says "Spending time with you guys is still nice."

"We'll talk about this later, also where's Guanlin?" Daehwi shrugs, "You're in his class, Daehwi." Jihoon says

"Uh, whoops...?" He squeaks before enduring a hit on the head from Jihoon

"You're supposed to look after him, not ditch him every two seconds." He reprimands "Sorry." Daehwi apologises. A few minutes later Guanlin shows up

"Where were you, Guanlin?" Jinyoung asks "Um, I was talking to the sport teacher." Yet another robotic response.
"Did you just have sport?" Jihoon questions and Guanlin shook his head

"We had History." Daehwi adds

"What were you doing with the sport teacher, Guanlin?" I inquire, he thinks about it for a moment trying to process the question. "About... joining a team."

"Oh, I see, what sport?" Guanlin bit his lip in an attempt to think of the right word "Soccer."

"See, Jihoon, I didn't ditch him. He ditched me to go and talk to the sport teacher."

"You could've said that."

"You didn't give me a chance to." Daehwi pouts, "What's 'ditch'?"

"Don't worry about it Guanlin." Haknyeon reassures him.
