Kai sat on the living room sofa. He was alone in his house. Nya and Jay were in the amusement park, Cole was out in a dinner with Seliel, Zane and Pixal would probably be somewhere near water... But what about Kai? He probably would make a bad third in anywhere, he was always the bad third. It was about five o'clock, when someone knocked on the door.

Lloyd did not have a lover, not that he did not have, was just that their feelings were different, and were not reciprocated. The green-eyed boy had asked Kai's sister, Nya, if he had a plan. The lady refused "Nobody is going to be in home but Kai, no one to my knowledge", that was all Lloyd needed to hear "Kai will be alone". The truth is that the kid did not feel the same sense of brotherhood and friendship for the ninja of fire by other ninjas, he felt something stronger, maybe... Love?, but ... What does that mean? "I have no idea".

Kai opened the door. "Oh Lloyd" The fire ninja paused, "What are you doing here?" He exclaimed.

The blonde smiled. "I just come to visit, long time no see you, eh?..." He under the gaze while his cheeks blushed a bit.

Kai drew a smile on his face. "It's good to see you here" He put one hand over the child's head and gave a gentle pat, "I was worried about you" He confessed as he turned away.

Lloyd looked up. "What do you say?" His big green eyes were trying to find those beautiful hazel iris of Kai.

Finally, they crossed them eyes. "I'm talking about..." That smile disappeared from his face. "It's not good to hide your feelings..."

"U-uh?" The red in his cheeks slightly increase.

"Lloyd" The red ninja put his hands on the boy's face dressed in green. "What is this?" He said before taking the left wrist of his companion and reveal a slightly red-stained bandages tied to it.

Lloyd froze, 'How did you know...?' He thought. His eyes quickly filled with tears. "Kai I'm... I'm so sorry!" He said with a broken voice as he smash into tears.

"Lloyd..." Kai ushered him inside his home, shut the door and hugged him tightly. "Why did you...?" A sigh with air of sadness get out of his mouth, there upon he began gently stroking his back.

The green-eyed boy corresponded to the hug and began to cry in each other's arms. "It was my fault Kai..." He sank his head in the highest breast "He died for my fault...!"

"It was not your fault... It was not." The brown-eyed guy gently kissed his forehead. "Everything will be fine, i swear" He murmur. "Only do not cry, I hate to see you like this" A tear rolled down his right cheek.

...

Lloyd screamed as he closed the door and ran away, leaving his father talking alone.

"Lloyd" he said with a loud voice and somewhat annoying.

Garmadon called Kai by phone before running through the same door that his son closed in front of him moments ago. He saw a green figure and a little further a dark shadow.

This time, ghosts were attacking Ninjago, they were the new challenge for the ninjas. As always, Garmadon knew how dangerous they were, especially Morro.

Morro was an evil being in his lifetime, filled with hatred, cruelty and contempt. Garmadon met him when they were young, but Morro was jealous. Garmadon had his brother, Misako and Lloyd. A beautiful family that he could only envy. Morro influenced Garmadon to follow the path of evil, just to steal the most precious thing for him, Lloyd. Unfortunately for Morro, Misako notice it, she discovered that Lloyd was destined to be the green ninja and abandonment him in the dark school. But it was too late. Garmadon was already consumed by evil, and nothing would back time. Morro had achieved part of his plan, just missing snatch Lloyd, but where was the child? Morro search, and search him. And, just before finding him, he died in an accident. His spirit became trapped in the cursed realm, and he had apparently found a way to get out.

It is not that Garmadon doesn't trust in the kid, it was just that surely he was the same immature child expelled from the dark evil school, but only in a more developed body, still quite ignorant. The old man was worried.

Kai had said he would find Lloyd and protect him until the end, as he had sworn a long time ago. Immediately, after receiving that call from Garmadon, the boy with brown hair and hazel eyes ran toward finding the green ninja. Kai knew perfectly Lloyd, his house was near the birch forest, he probably go over there. Kai took his sword and went as fast as possible to the place.

"Lloyd? Are you here?" He shouted as he toured the white painted wood.

Then he saw him, he was running without any direction, he stopped and sat next to a large white tree, put his knees with his face and began to cry.

Kai quietly went to comfort the child, he took his shoulder, hug him and then, sat down. "What happened?"

"My father says that...I cannot fight yet..." He sobbed. "But I'm the green ninja, that one from the prophecy! I'm tired of staying idle forever..." The blond sank into the arms of Kai.

"Why do you want to fight so hard?" He gently stroked his back.

Lloyd sighed. "Because... I feel guilty."

A long silence took over the place while Kai tried to analyze the child's words. "Guilty..." He paused, "Of what?" He said.

"I started everything." Lloyd separated from Kai at the time when he looked down. "If i had not released the serpentins none of this would have happened, they would not have caused so much trouble." He said as he crashed both hands against his face, trying to hide his tears.

"Look at me." Kai ordered.

Lloyd stopped, froze.

"Lloyd." Kai took the boy's face with green eyes and forced eye contact. "Nothing of this is your fault, nothing, everything was written from birth." He frowned slightly.

The kid burst into tears.

Kai was moved by his actions and he hugged him again. "Besides... if you had not done any of that... I will not know you, and that would be worse than bad." Kai kiss the blond head tenderly.

"I love you Lloyd."

"And I love you too Kai."

...

The dark figure was approaching slowly crept towards Kai and Lloyd while Garmadon was running as fast as his body allowed him, he could not let his son were injured by Morro, he just could not.

"Lloyd!" He shouted.

Kai looked in all directions until his vision finally found the ghost. Kai split from Lloyd, drew his sword and stood to fight in front of the child.

"Dad!" Said the child.

Morro appeared a sword and began to ruthlessly fight with Kai. Lloyd's tears dried and he get separated from the ground covered with a light layer of snow to help the fire ninja.

"No Lloyd! Get away from him!" Garmadon shouted again while blocking an attack of Morro for Kai with his old bamboo stick. "Kai, take Lloyd away from here!"

"I refuse to get out of here!" Lloyd replied angrily.

Garmadon gave a serious look at Kai chocolaty eyes, he was talking seriously, if he said that Lloyd should not have contact with this strange being evil, it was true, Lloyd did not have to have any contact with him.

Kai keep his sword, took Lloyd waist, load him and ran away.

"What are you doing?!" The boy began to kick. "I thought you were by my side!" He shrieked.

Kai stopped angry, put Lloyd next to a tree and hit his hands on it, leaving him trapped. "That's enough!" He shouted.

Lloyd froze, Kai was really yelling at him? Kai had never yelled at him in that way. The smaller flushed a little, not for anger, not for love.

Kai frowned. "Your father just wants to protect you! Are you blind? His look says it all, if you do not have to be near it for a reason! The old man is our Sensei" He lowered his head. "We... We just want to protect... The most precious thing in our lives..."

A silecence covered the place "I'm sorry..." Lloyd began to mourn again. "I'm really... That selfish?"

Kai put his hands on the face of smaller and wiped his tears. "Do not cry..."

"Agh!"

"What is that...?" Kai drew his sword and turned toward the forest.

"Da... Dad..." The blonde said nervously.

"Garmadon...?" Kai muttered.

"Dad!" Lloyd left the place and ran to where his father was.

"Lloyd!" Kai shout and followed him.

"Dad!" Lloyd fell in the snow just before reaching the place, he tried to get up, but it was useless, something stopped him. Kai hugged him tightly. His right arm holding his upper extremities, his left hand blocking his view, his legs immobilizing him.

Some liquid splashed in the face of the blond, what would it be? "Kai, what's going on...?" He asked.

...

Kai was horrified by the dramatic scene before him. Garmadon was just been killed by Morro in front of his eyes at that moment.

"Kai, what's happening?" Lloyd asked shyly.

Kai bones froze completely, what was him supposed to answer to the child? 'Nothing, let's go home.' Or 'I'm sorry, your father is dead now.' Obviously he could not say that, but could not lie about something so serious, likewise, could not let him see that scene, even to him as an adult, it has caused him fear, even terror.

'What do I do?'

Kai's body was lit in red, his now red eyes were glowing as if they contain fire while a orange-yellow sphere of power appeared surrounding them.

'What is this?' Lloyd wondered again and again.

Kai tighter embrace the child. Morro escaped.

"Forgive me Lloyd, this useless man couldn't do anything..."

"Why?" An almost inaudible murmur came from the mouth of Lloyd.

Kai unblocked the view of the child. A bright light lit up his pupils, this faded quickly, then looked at the brown haired boy, tears were rolling down her cheeks.

"Kai that-" Lloyd interrupted his own words by seeing the scene tinged with red that was in front of him. "Dad" He started to stutter.

He was slowly approaching that figure covered with blood, severed limbs, torn.

So...

He shouted.

The most horrifying scream that Kai had heard in his life. Very similar to Nya's cry when she saw his father die, just, stronger, full of sadness and several negative feelings together.

Kai took the blond neck and pressed a nerve. Before falling unconscious, Lloyd glanced at his face that was already wet with tears.

"Sorry... Kai..." The smallest fell into the cold snow. Kai picked him and carried him up.

Although the child was unconscious Kai could admire the pain on his face.

"I'm sorry..." He mumbled.

Kai got up and left the place with the monastery of Garmadon like destination.

"Kai..." The little spoke dreamily, whispering that unique name. "Kai..." Occasionally letting out a couple of groans and tears.

"Please do not cry... You do not know how much it hurts me to see you like that..."

...

Lloyd opened his eyes, he was in his room.

'¿...Was it all a bad dream...?'

He glanced at the left, then to the right. Kai was right there wearing black, he was sitting beside him, holding his hands clasped to his head.

"Kai..." A murmur came from the mouth of Lloyd.

Kai was a little surprised to hear his name with the voice of the child, he looked up and arched his back.

"All this was a dream..." He paused a moment. "Right?" He asked a little hopeful.

The biggest took the blond in his arms. "That would be nice..." Kai squeezed and kissed his right cheek. "Forgive me, I couldn't do anything..."

...

Lloyd sighed when he was waiting in the living room sofa.

Kai left the kitchen with two cups, one in each hand, one had hot chocolate and the other cup had black coffee concentrate with a pinch of sugar, then he led the cup chocolate to the child.

The lower bowed his head in thanks mode and accepted the cup. "Chocolate? I'm 19, and I think I can drink coffee"

"Sorry, I thought you preferred the sweet yet" The hazel eyes voy replied. "And, you know? Drinking coffee is not really good. "

"What are you drinking?"

"Coffee."

Both let out a slight laugh.

"Come on, I have 26, my body is most needed" Kai asked.

"Yeah, of course." Lloyd sneered.

The biggest smiled. "Come here Lloyd" Kai opened his arms to the blond.

Lloyd smiled slightly and snuggled into him. "It hurts.. It hurts a lot..."

"I know, I went through the same" He stroked his back. "It's okay. Cry all you want. "

Lloyd began to mourn there. "It hurts." Occasionally let out a little cry.

It passed one, two, three minutes, five ... Half hour... an hour... Until he slowly calmed down.

"Do you feel better?" Kai asked.

"Yes..." He sighed with a sad air. "T-thank you..."

"You're welcome" Kai gave a smile to the child. "Lloyd... I know this is one of the wounds that never heal but..." He paused a moment suiting his words. "I would like try and take care of yours" He said tenderly.

"Kai ..."

They slowly get closer and closer until their lips met. Kai placed in the child's mouth a warm kiss. So time passed, this was intensifying.

Lloyd get separated with a slight blush on the cheeks to take some breath.

Kai laughed slightly. "Sorry, it was inevitable."

"I-ne-vi-ta-ble..." Lloyd smirked and approached over to kiss him again. Them two curled up on the couch.

Kai's hand slowly take up the green plaid shirt of the child, he caressed his whole body and undid the buttons that kept attached it to his torso.

Kai fell from her lips to his neck, his chest, his abdomen... 'I want to make you mine' That simple prayer filled his thoughts.

The red in Lloyd's cheeks grew increasingly.

"Ah..." The boy whined with every kiss put on his pale skin, of course, those moans could not be more exciting.

The biggest climbed back into the child's chest. He took his waist and licked one of his nipples.

"Ngh..." His moans turned more intense.

Kai stopped.

"Sorry."

"No..." Lloyd hugged him. "It's alright, you don't know how much i waited just for the kiss."

The highest lovingly saw him and lay down beside the blonde on the couch.

"I'm here"

Lloyd smiled and put his head between the older's neck and right shoulder.

"Thank you." He dropped a last tear and fell asleep in the arms of his lover.

Kai sighed and kissed the child's head before falling into a deep sleep with him.

'You'll never be alone anymore.'
