Zoroark's POV 🎃

As I watched the female Lucario sleep, I couldn't help but smile a little.

She recently gave birth to a female Riolu several minutes ago and is now completely calm and silent.

Even the baby Riolu was calm and quiet too even though she's asleep.

I scooted a few inches closer and then rested my paw on the female Lucario's cheek.

"She's so soft and cute...She's a beautiful one for a female Lucario like her..." I think to myself as I blushed a little.

Being gentle with the sleeping female Lucario, due to the fact that she was still in pain after giving birth, I lied her down on the cavern floor and tucked her in with another blanket.

I picked up the blanket that had blood stains on it and got rid of it.

The female Lucario smiled in her sleep a little as she kept the newborn Riolu close to her.

"Her smile is adorable..." I think to myself before blushing again.

Why am I blushing for?!

This female Lucario is probably married and is already a mother.

Because she already gave birth to a Riolu!

But...Somehow...The female Lucario looks familiar.

Have I seen her somewhere before?

"No...My eyes must be playing illusions on me..." I thought to myself as I shook my head.

I suddenly letted out a small yawn as I walked over to my bed.

Eventually...

I dozed off.

-The Next Day-

As I was sleeping, I suddenly heard someone let out a small groan.

I woke up and started rubbing my eyes, as I turned my head to where I heard someone groan.

A female Lucario was slowly waking up, trying her best not to wake the newborn Riolu as she started to look around.

Then memories of what happened last night came flooding back into my head, making me blush a little even though all I did last night was help the female Lucario deliver the infant.

It felt a bit embarrassing when I had to help the female Lucario out because I knew she couldn't birth the newborn Riolu by herself.

As I continued to think about what happened last night, I noticed the female Lucario looking at me.

I quickly shook my head, forgetting about what happened last night, and headed out to the female Lucario.

"Hey, you alright?" I asked as I approached the female Lucario.

She nodded her head.

"Yeah...But, I'm still in pain after being in labor last night..." The female Lucario answered as she rested her head against the cavern wall.

"Heh...I can tell you're still in pain...Just by the face you're making..." I replied.

The female Lucario smiled and chuckled a little at that.

"Oh! My name is Midnight!" I introduced myself.

"Pleased to meet you...My name is Serena." The female Lucario introduced herself.

"Serena? That sounds....familiar....." I mumbled to myself.

I started to think back, going through my memories, to see if there was a Lucario I know named Serena....

I suddenly remembered and looked at Serena.

"Serena! Is that you?! The young Riolu that I met when I was a Zoura?!?!?" I said as I suddenly shot up from where I was sitting at.

Serena's eyes widened in shock as she looked at me.

"Midnight?! Oh my Arceus....I didn't recognize you!" Serena gasped.

"I didn't recognize you either! You just look so different....You've changed a lot!" I replied back, still in shock.
