age: 2 moons

I wonder about my mother. I wonder what happened to her. did she fall? or did she leave me? I try not to think about it.

I had been playing in the clearing, my paws chasing after the bright flappy things when cold wet stuff started to fall from the sky. I thought about going into the hollow fallen tall thing but it was fun! and it cleaned up all the places that I could not. I lost my green things though in all of the fun and had to go get new ones the next day. that night I couldn't sleep the wet things had gotten me cold and shivering. I got up a few times to check if it was still falling and it was. hard. it was so peaceful to live in silence and this didn't change with the cold things. it was falling so hard that it started to drip through the hollow fallen tall thing. 

That moon I was desperate for something to eat. so took the risk and left home. all  the smells! it overwhelmed me so much! but I needed food so I continued on. I came across a big green thing with small blue things on it. I had learned that green things aren't for eating but I had never tried the blue things before! so I ate one. And it was so good. It didn't make me sick. so I collected as much as I could and brought it all home. It turns out there was one in home all along! 

that night for the first time in my life I slept full. It was so strange but so right to feel. and as I lay in the green soft things I knew that now I would be safe.
