Prisoner

At UA:

A blond spiky haired teen walked inside his classroom, making most of the others shut up while also making a certain red-head excited. "Bakubro!" Eijiro Kirishima said as he approached his friend. "What is it, shitty hair?" Katsuki Bakugou replied as to tell the boy to fuck off.

"Woah, there. I'm just greeting you. No need for an attitude." Kirishima said jokingly as the rest of the class slowly got back to what they were talking about. "I'm not in the mood," Bakugou replied while looking away as he looked back on what his mother told him a few months ago.

Ever since that day, he had been trying to change. Although, he never found the strength to do so. Hence why he was so focused on training himself and becoming stronger as it was his mindset of becoming a better person. Deep down, he was happy when he was with Kirishima.

Regardless of the many insults, the red-head still followed him and praised him, reminding him of a certain shitty nerd back when he was in middle school. The feeling of Eijiro's warmth made it unable for Bakugou to completely disregard him the same way he did to the rest of the class.

"What? Are you still angry after losing a little game of Yatsy?" Kirishima asked mockingly, making Bakugou a little more like himself. "What did you say, shitty hair?! That game is only luck!" Bakugou raged as he started hitting Kirishima with small explosions. Kirishima just hardened himself and laughed at Bakugou's reaction.

"I know, I know, calm down," Kirishima said as he tried making bakugou stop with the explosions before someone was hurt. "Shut up and get to your seats." A voice from the door said as the whole class instantly did what they were told. Shota Aizawa walked up in front of the class and started speaking.

"Good, now, we'll be doing a training exercise today. As you know, this is your last year and it's coming to an end, therefore, the school has granted you all an opportunity to go out on your own or in groups today and patrol the city. You are allowed to use your quirks any way you want without doing something a hero would not do. However, you are not to get involved in any pro-hero's work." He said, making many excited, some nervous, and one very, very happy.

'This is my chance!' He thought as he gave a sinister grin to make sure he was ready. "Now, class starts immediately so get changed and move out," Aizawa said before he got a yellow sleeping bag out from under his desk, got it in it, and started to sleep.

"Shitty hair, come with me," Bakugou said as he grabbed his outfit from the wall and dragged Kirishima along. Although it was normal for them to work together, Kirishima still felt like this time was going to be different.

.

The two of them both walked outside of the UA gates, being the first of their class gave them a reasonable amount of time to choose the area they were going to patrol. "Let's just take downtown," Bakugou said, ending their discussion and beginning to walk in the direction of where he was going to patrol with that red-headed moron.

The two of them moved around town without noticing anything too out of place, and had a fun time together, something that Bakugou obviously wouldn't show or admit. It was kind of like a small date, although none of them thought of it that way.

Just as they were about to turn in for the day, and get back to school, a small shriek was heard. Their red eyes met with another pair of red eyes, although dull, they seemed to hold a little hope. Bakugou and Kirishima closed in on her, making her freeze as they tried to take in her features.

She had long white hair down to her knees, and a small horn sticking out of her forehead a little to the right. She looked to be around 7 years old with torn and dirty clothes and a bandaged body. "Hey there, little one," Kirishima said as he was thought to be less scary than his explosive friend.

She didn't answer but rather backed off a little back into the alley she ran out of. "Are you lost?" Kirishima continued, trying to make her speak. Bakugou was slowly losing his patience but as long as the situation was under the control, he could still wait.

Kirishima looked a little confused before he tried to approach her differently. "I'm sorry. My name is Eijiro Kirishima. What is yours?" He showed a toothy grin that seemed to make her laugh a little. She held it in before she replied, "E-E-Eri." Bakugou raised an eyebrow at the name. He swore to have heard that before.

"Eri, huh? Well, can you maybe tell me why you're dressed so poorly?" Kirishima asked, continuing to show a smile although it seemed to be destroyed when he saw Eri's expression. She seemed to have calmed down before he said that but now she was again trembling in fear.

"Excuse me. I'm sorry for my daughter keeping you distracted. I'll take good care of her and watch her every second from now on." A voice said from the shadows behind Eri. He stepped out in the light, giving the little girl an even more horrified look. He wore a black cape, a pair of baggy pants, a black bowler hat and grey sneakers. He had a black plague mask that covered his face.

"And who might you be?" Bakugou asked before Kirishima could talk. Something was off here, and Bakugou wouldn't let this small excuse let someone take an innocent person. "My name? It's... Nem Shimoto." The person said, nodding his head even though he was clearly lying.

"Nem? Quite a weird name, don't you think?" Bakugou said, getting more and more suspicious of the stranger that didn't seem very friendly. "Hey, Bakubro, let's just leave. She's in good hands." Kirishima said, trying to convince Bakugou of leaving as he honestly thought the girl would be okay with this new person. He had failed to see Eri's horrified expression.

"Wait for a second, I ain't trusting this guy just yet," Bakugou said before he was pushed back by Kirishima to get them going. He let in.

The guy with the scary outfit sighed as he watched the two UA students leave him be. "Now, Eri, it's time to go back." The guy said after seeing them turn a corner. "O-Okay, Shin" She replied, speaking his real name as she tried to take his hand. However, she was not able to as she was swept off the ground and felt a sudden warmth as a pair of arms held her protectingly.

"Those shi- idiots actually let you get taken." A voice said, cutting off his own voice not to curse in front of the girl. Eri blushed a little and looked up to see a boy with diamond-shaped freckles, a small grin, dull green eyes, and bushy hair that matched his eye-color.

His warm hoody against her body helped slow down her rapid breathing. "Give her back." Shin said as he felt a few sweatdrops peel down his face at the thought of losing his gang's most important subject.

"I'm sorry, birdy, I ain't as stupid as those so-called heroes," Izuku said as he held Eri even tighter, making her turn around and hide in his much too big hoody. "And what exactly do you intend to do with her?" Shin asked, activating his quirk to find out Izuku's true intentions.

Izuku felt his mind lose control as his heart controlled what he said. "I swear to keep her safe, give her a warm place to stay, and the affection and love that she has clearly been missing for as long as she can remember." That was not meant to come out. If Spike heard him now, he would probably faint at the generosity and heartwarming moment between savior and princess.

The little girl looked up at him with a look of confusion and hope. Izuku only smiled back awkwardly as he sweatdropped at his own words. "Well then... You'll have to defeat me first!" Shin, aka. Birdy, said as he whipped out a handgun, pointing it toward Izuku but careful not to hit Eri.

"Crap," Izuku said before he rolled on the ground, keeping Eri close and barely dodging the loud shot that went past him. The gunshot made more people look at them and many freaked out when they saw a guy with a gun. "A villain!" They screamed as the small crowd of civilians that were walking around dispersed and ran away in fear.

"Don't worry, Eri. I won't let this mean man hurt you anymore." Izuku said after he gained his balance and gave her a reassuring smile to make her feel safe. "Thank you..." She whispered as she dug her head in his chest and cried her heart out.

It shocked Izuku to see such a broken child but it also had a positive effect. The fuel of rage, adrenaline, and revenge powered him as he slowly stood up to face the know revealed villain. "Give her back, you brat!" Shin shouted, growing more desperate as only some would be able to dodge his fast hand.

He shot off a few more bullets to try and injure the annoying teen that had interrupted his break. Izuku tried to dodge most of them and was successful in not getting hit straight on. That's what he thought before a small shot of pain hit his thigh. He looked down to see a bullet grazed his thigh and drew blood.

He cursed himself in his mind and moved his hand so he could put a little pressure on the wound. The sudden loss of safety freaked Eri out as she thought he was going to drop her. She accidentally activated her quirk on him but stopped the moment she noticed.

He only held his hand over his wound before he felt it close. He looked down to see that only his pants had been ripped and the small wound was nowhere to be seen. He looked at Eri as he brought his arm back and held her tight again.

Her horn had grown a little and was just now shrinking. He actually smiled at her before he faced the villain. "Sorry, little bird, I won't let you take her." Izuku spat at Shin. Birdy only growled since none of this was going as planned.

"It's my turn. Eri, get ready." Izuku said, taking a position that showed he was going to attack the guy. Birdy only aimed his gun at Izuku. He started shooting as Izuku started sprinting toward the guy. He kept his body to the ground and weaved past the bullets, slowed down because of not being able to use his arms as he held onto Eri tightly. He was scraped by a few and actually got a bullet inside his shoulder. However, that didn't stop him.

"Sorry, not sorry," Izuku said with a dead face as he did a back flip right in front of Shin and slammed his foot in the guy's chin, knocking him back. Izuku landed perfectly, keeping Eri close as Shin was knocked to the ground, hitting his head on the hard cement and losing his bearings, barely able to stay conscious.

Izuku walked over to him, holding Eri away from the man as he scowled at him. "Pathetic." He said as the bird-mask guy could only weakly lift his head before he fell back into the darkness. The last thing he saw was a 17-year-old boy carrying a 7-year-old girl away from him as a feeling of dread and fear filled him.

.

Bakugou and Kirishima rounded the corner only seconds after Izuku turned a corner while having a small, crying child in his arms. They noticed the guy from earlier knocked out on the side of the road. They ran over to him and checked his pulse to feel he was still alive.

"Wait, where's the girl?" Kirishima asked as he noticed that the small girl from before was gone. "Damn it." Bakugou cursed himself as he had no idea of what happened. They had both heard a gunshot and hurried over until they heard even more and sped up.

However, they had been too slow and come too late and now found themselves in a hopeful situation. "What are we supposed to do now?" Kirishima asked, finding himself at a loss. "Let's just get this guy to the police and report what happened," Bakugou said as he called the police.

.

Izuku opened the normal sized door to his humble apartment and walked inside. He locked it behind him, careful to not make too much noise as Eri was currently sleeping in his arms. The poor girl had cried herself to sleep, although it was happy tears, Izuku still felt guilty.

He looked at her sleeping face, giving a small smirk before he made his way to his room. The first thing he did was to take off her dirty, old, and torn ripped piece of cloth that was supposed to cover her body. After that, he immediately wrapped her up in a few blankets and let her sleep.

He then went over to the small bathroom and took off his hoody and the shirt under, both ripped and having a hole on the shoulder. He looked at the wound in the mirror. The bullet was at least three centimeters inside his shoulder, luckily not anywhere near his collarbone though.

He opened the drawer beneath the sink and grabbed a pair of tweezers. He put his index finger and thumb and tried to widen the wound so he could reach in there and remove it. The moment his fingers came close to the wound, he winced in pain, barely holding in his scream.

"Shit, I need something to keep me shut," Izuku told himself as he started to look for something he could bite down on, eventually landing his eyes on the rubber duck laying inside the bathtub. He reached for it and put it in his mouth before he bit down on it and nodded as to say it would work.

He then did the same and widened the wound to see the bullet was actually just two centimeters inside of his shoulder. He slowly moved the tweezer closer to the hole, trembling as he bit down on the rubber duck, fighting the urge to look away and scream in pain.

However, he managed to move the tweezer inside the wound, hitting the inside of his flesh a few times before he met the bullet and grabbed it. He trembled even more and cried in pain as he took out the bullet and immediately dropped the tweezers and the bullet in the sink, holding a hand over his wound as his shoulder felt like it was burning.

He screamed into the rubber duck, getting a squeaky sound out as the duck silenced his pain.

I'm tired, but happy
