Impure Police
I look at the request, which has an address listed on it for my target. First though, I need a weapon. Let's see... I'm getting close so I gotta think.
Mailbox? No I can't rip a mailbox out of the ground. A rock?
"Sounds like a good way to kill," Purity smirks.
"Something else then," I reply.
"Well I don't see anything!" Purity exclaims.
I look around. There's not much in the yard of the house, but the grass is green, if wildly overgrown and there's no sign of toolshed or anything that may house anything I can use. It's just me and the impure. No witnesses either, so I can put on my mask, but I can't win a fight against a meth-addicted cop. I don't have anything but my bike.
Wait a second...
I mess around with the bike chain until it comes loose. Excellent. This will do nicely.
"Choke them?" Purity inquires, "nice."
"No!" I exclaim, "I'm gonna use it more like a whip. It's like four feet long so it'll do the job."
"Suit yourself kid," Purity chuckles, "let's get this done."
I approach the house and sneak around back, only to witness the woman, with long brown hair, green eyes, and a malnourished appearance, sitting in a green recliner, tapping her feet with a wild look in her eyes. She's high as a kite clearly. I feel aniexty overwhelm me as my phobia fills me with fear and dread. She truly is impure.
I take a deep breath and open a window in the room to the left, quietly sneaking into the house, which is a horrid mess with trashbags and rotten food scattered about. Revolting! This woman has harmed her child enough! She will be purified!
I sneak into the room where she's watching TV with a bugged out expression. I let my chain roll out it its full length, and leap at her, screaming, "to commence in purification!"
She rises to her feet quickly, pulling a gun on me that I strike out of her hand before turning 360 degrees in a full swing of the chain as her blood flies from her hand. I proceed as my chain shatters her cheekbone, causing her to scream in pain and fall to her knees as I yell with joy, "to cleanse this world and bring salvation!"
She desperately reaches for her phone sitting on the arm if her chair, quickly rising to her feet, but I wrap my chain around her arm and pull it away, kicking her in the face and proceeding to kick her while she's down, speaking, "to unite the world under hope and what's just, and to protect the next generation from abuse and drugs. I am Purity. You must be purified!"
I grab her phone and begin to record.
"Confess!" I demand pressing my full weight on her ribs which began to make snapping sounds under the strain of my fat body. I strike her face with the chain, drawing blood as tears stream down her face. I have no sympathy for this impure wretch!
"You have no evidence," the woman wheezes, "why would I-"
I kick her face removing a tooth, she screeches in her suffering.
"Confess!" I demand, "now!"
"Fine fine!" She weeps, "I killed my son! I threatened my daughter! I've been on the mafia's payroll for about three years! They pay me in meth!"
"What was that last part?" I demand.
"I'm a crooked cop!" She explains, "there's a man who brings me meth each week as long as I turn a blind eye!"
"Were you pure before this?" I demand.
The woman nods. Her face begins to turn blue as she can't breath.
"Let this be a warning then!" I exclaim, "to the mafia! You spread your disease, your impurity, and I am the cure! I'm coming for you! You will all be purified! I will find you!"
With that, I wrap the bike chain around my fist and punch her in the face, knocking her out.
"Well then," I smile, at the camera, "when the cops find this, I'll be long gone. I'll be calling from this phone when I stop recording. What do you think I am? Stupid? There is so much to purify. Mafia and the impure? I have work to do. I will continue to take requests. Until then, stay pure my allies."
I stop recording and head outside to repair my bike, reattaching the chain and calling 911, checking the address before I do. After reporting that I witnessed someone go inside the window, I set the phone on the front porch, making sure all the while there are no witnesses, and bike off at a casual pace go avoid drawing attention to myself.
"Nice work kiddo!" Purity exclaims, "another one purified!"
"Indeed," I chuckle, "another one down, but now we know there's some sort of drug cartel inching in on our fair town."
"Now that's a life we'd snuff out. Right?"
I shake my head..
"Dammit," Purity sighs.
"Look dude," I sigh, "I will not kill. I seek only to purify. To protect the ones I love, and children like little Mary. I hope she's OK with Bertha's uncle."
"We could go check on her," Purity suggests, "next time you take a request, talk to Bertha."
"Sounds like a plan," I smile.
We ride in silence for a bit before I ask, "is this... right?"
"What?" Purity asks..
"I mean," I sigh, "is this to far? It feels great to purify but... I dunno. I'm worried that if someone I love is impure then I won't be able to-"
"Who would be impure?" Purity chuckles, "George? Mary? Lily? Don't make me laugh. Everyone you care about is pure and safe. You know that. We know that."
"You're right," I smile, "thanks Purity."
"Anytime," Purity smiles back.
We arrive back at my place at around 6pm, and the exhausting activities I've been taking part in at odd hours take their toll. I slip inside, avoiding my mother who is oddly confined to her room for some reason, and head to my room. Far away from her's, and safe. With that, I close my eyes and go to sleep...
