History and Occupation:

Occupation: Maiden for the royal family (formally), Healer (current)

Backstory:  Litore is a Darkner boss monster and former maid to the royal family of the Dark World who currently runs a Pokémon center in Castle Town. She spent most of her time looking after their children, Ralsei and the Darkner human the queen and king had adopted.

One day, an enraged Necromza attacked the kingdom. The King and Queen's adopted child sacrificed themselves to allow their family to use their soul to help everyone escape. They perish and Ralsei goes missing (later on it's revealed he was the one who absorbed the Darkner human's soul). Litore being one of the escapees.

The Dark World was plunged into an era of chaos and disorder. A tyrant known as the Knight came into power, manipulating others to do his bidding. Litore went into hiding, remaining behind in the ruined capital as the caretaker. She ended up coming to the rescue of the Heros after a rather bad encounter with an angry Guzzlord. Acting as a guide to them on their quest to seal the first fountain.

Between the events of her going into hiding and her encounter with the Heros, Litore had come across an injured Pheromosa. Taking it in, she nursed it back to health. The UB was thankful for her help and decided to remain by Litore's side as her partner.

Eventually the Knight was defeated and order restored to the Dark World. Darkners returned to the ruined capital and began to rebuild it into a small settlement known as Castle Town on the outskirts as the ruins had become overrun by wild Pokémon and Ultra Beasts. Litore finally came out of hiding and moved into the cozy little village.

As transportation between the Dark World and Light World was becoming more and more widely available to Darkner Monsters, talks about establishing a pseudo-Pokémon Center in Castle Town began to spring up. Litore decided to take it upon herself to do so.

So with the help of the locals, they were able to build their own Pokémon center as Litore herself had never been to the Lightner World. It was recreated in an almost perfect image of an actual Pokémon center you would see in the Alola Region albeit with a few changes (Litore's house being the upstairs portion with a fairly large balcony looking out over the town. If you look up from there, it's said you can see Ultra Megalopolis).

One day while out, Litore heard frantic yelling off in the distance followed by a thump. Following the sound, she came across a little girl wearing a tattered hospital gown alongside a Pichu and Ralts. The child was in pain and kept mumbling about not wanting to "go back".

Lowering herself to the girl's level, Litore dropped her Shadow Cloak form and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. The child and her Pokémon friends huddled around Litore when she heard voices.

"The girl could not have gone far."

"Captain! I heard some slight movement coming from over there."

Litore stood up with the child in one arm, conjuring a fireball in the other. Catching a glimpse of a white and blue suit, she wrapped the girl in her cloak and took off running

She took the child and her Pokémon under her wing as her own

Alolatale storyline:

After falling into a large electrical trap meant to prevent Necromza from attacking the Dark World the ride Solgaleo is hurt as a result. Selene and the legendary crash land in the Dark World where she encounters Litore.

At first, she mistakes Selene for a Faller until she notices her Z-Power Ring. Litore then brings Selene to her home/the Pokémon Center in Castle Town so she and her Pokémon can rest after her battle against Dawn Wings Necromza. Selene meets Malarie and learns about the history of the Dark World and Darkner Monsters as a whole, exploring Castle Town while Litore works on Solgaleo.

With Solgeleo healed and waiting for her on the outskirts of town, Selene bids goodbye to everyone, not before she's given a device that allows her to travel back to the Dark World without needing the Ultra Warp by Litore, and goes off to confront Ultra Necromza.

Litore and Malarie make a reappearance at the end of the main story.

Personality: Being the equivalent of Toriel from another world, their personalities are quite similar with a few minor differences. For example, she isn't as overprotective as Toriel. Making no point to try and stop Selene from going after Necromza, only wishing her well.

Being as boss monster, many of the citizens of Castle Town hold her to high regards despite not being in charge. Even the most troublesome of Darkners still have respect for her, usually being the only person they will listen to if given orders. King was known to flirt with her, to which she detested greatly.

Litore has quite a bit of knowledge about the Dark World and Ultra Space as a whole. Having recovered most of the castle's records after it's collapse and all. Most of the books have been donated to the local library but she has kept a few, those being over the history of the kingdom and a few about Darkner humans.

She's also very a good healer. Having nursed a Pheromosa and Malarie back to full health and helping heal the ride Solgaleo Selene was using after crash landing.

Despite this, Litore is quite clumsy. She forgets where she leaves stuff and has been known to drop things quite frequently.

She also despises loud noises.

Gender: Female

Place of Birth: Alola

Age: 6

Place of residence: Ultra Space

Family: Litore (adoptive mother)

Pokemon: Pichu (Male), Ralts (Female), Poiple

Physical description:

Height: Below average

Weight: underweight

Eye color: Green

Skin tone: White

Hair color: Brown

Clothes: She currently wears a purple shirt with three yellow stripes on it, tan shorts, and tennis shoes.

Soul trait: Perseverance

History:

Bio: Malarie was originally an orphan living in the Aether House. She was considered an outcast and was bullied by the other children. Her only friends were Pokémon, specifically a Pichu and Ralts. One thing that fascinated her was the rumors spread around by the other children about these holes opening up in the sky and these otherworldly creates emerging from them.

She'd always wanted an excuse to leave the Aether House. The only issue was getting past Headmaster and the Employees. The Oranguru watched the children (both human and monster) and Pokémon like a hawk so her best bet was to sneak out when everyone was asleep.

The rest of the day Malarie spent on setting up a travel bag with her two Pokémon, stashing it in her pillowcase. That night as the lights were shut off, Malarie opened her eyes to see if the coast was clear before rousing her Pokémon friends. Grabbing her bag, Pichu climbed into it while her Ralts remained by her side, Malarie slipped out of the Aether House and into the night.

Not many wild Pokémon were out that night as Malarie traveled. Malarie stopped to rest underneath a tree when Ralts sensed a disturbance in the air. She decided to go investigate, coming across an Ultra Wormhole. The girl's eyes shined with amazement, not knowing she had strayed a little to close to the cliff edge.

Pichu and Ralts attempted to pull her up from her backpack but were dragged down. The three fell from the cliff and into the Wormhole.

Malarie landed in the Ultra Deep Sea, catching the attention of a few Nihilego. The pokemon surrounded the girl, intent on making her a host. Her Pokémon were no match for these creatures.

The Nihilego latched into her, trying to attach to her head. Malarie thrashed, accidentally sticking her arm into the Beast's head. She felt a prick (HC: Nihilego poison takes a while to activate if not injected into the host's brain. It's quite painful too before it kicks in). The creature released her after being stuck from a small purple wasp creature.

Malarie stumbled about before blacking out.

She awoke at the Recon Squad's base wearing a hospital gown. Malarie would remain there for a few days while she recovered from the Nihilego's poison.

Malarie was scared of these strangers, unaware they were trying to help her. They spoke funny and didn't let her leave. She had tried to escape once but was stopped by their leader. Soleria took pity on the child after Zossie's failed attempt at trying to be friends with her. Phycho and Dulse left Malarie alone for the most part, minus the occasional check-up.

One day, she overheard a discussion between the Captain and Lusamine. It was about what they were going to do with her.

Since she was now a Faller, Malarie ended up being at risk of attracting Ultra Beasts if she were to be sent home. After some banter, the two parties came to the decision that Malarie would stay in Ultra Megalopolis, Soleria volunteering to take care of her.

She didn't want to stay. In a frenzy, she pulled her IV line, disconnected all the monitors, snatched up her bag with Ralts and Pichu, and sped out the door.

Cornered, Malarie ran into a room where she came across a small device. Just as Soliera approached her, Malarie pressed a button and vanished.

Malarie found herself in a colorful forest. The device she had used was gone but her backpack and Pokémon were still with her.

Lost in admiring her surroundings when she heard a "Hey!" shouted by Dulse. Malarie bolted off into the foliage, pursued by four others when she collided with a tree.

She fell to the floor with a thump, dazed. Ralts and Pichu came to her side as a set of footsteps slowly approached her. The pokemon turned to face the newcomer, ready to defend their friend, only to be met by the worried glance of a Darkner Boss Monster.

The kind beast helped Malarie to her feet and asked her what she was doing out here. She was too much of a panic to awnser,  only mumbling as she hugged her savior. The boss monster hugged her when suddenly her grip on Malarie tightened.

They heard footsteps approaching as the boss monster conjured a fireball, throwing into the direction of the noise as she bolted, Malarie in hand. Litore brought Malarie to her home to let her recuperate.

Seeing as she had nowhere to go, Litore adopted Malarie as her own.

Personality: Malarie used to act a lot more recluse around others when she lived in the Aether House. After being taken in by Litore, she's began to open up more towards others.

Like most children, Malarie is curious about the world around her. One of her favorite things to do is read and explore the Dark World.

Malarie has stated that she "Feels more comfortable around monsters than she does with humans.". Being one of the reasons she ran away from both the Aether House and Ultra Recon Squad.
