Joke stared at her Bridal shower photos and shook her head as tears fell down her cheeks. Someone snatched her phone from her.

  Through her tears, she saw Lara sit down on the loveseat. "Don't waste your tears on guys, Joke. They don't worth it," Lara said, "and why have you not deleted these photos?"

  Joke wiped her tears, "I loved him. Do you know how it feels to wear your wedding gown, look glorious and your boyfriend does not come to the wedding?"

"Forget about him. Men are scum," Lara scuffed, "do you know how many years I dated that jerk, Mayor?"

"I don't get why the girls have to suffer like this! I heard that Mayor already has a set of twins that are three years old. And me I thought I was the only one," Lara hissed.

  Itunu entered the sitting room with puffy eyes and sits on a chair, "Lara, is it true that your younger sister, Glory, is getting married?"

Lara hissed, "Abeg, leave that matter. If you see the way Iya Lara disgraced me the last time I went home. She started calling me names and shouting that I should go and marry. I'm not stepping foot in Glory's wedding o. Let her and Iya Lara roll it."

  "But Glory is your sister," Joke said calmly, "you guys are the only girls in the family."

"You know Glory and Iya Lara are very close. It's Daddy and me. And Glory and I have never been close. Nobody will notice my absence," Lara replied.

  Itunu folded her arms, "Did I tell you guys that I saw Folarin yesterday with Debbie? I can't believe that Debbie used to be my bff in secondary school."

  "As I said earlier, men are scum. They think that everything is a game and they think that girls no get sense," Lara said.

  "But Debbie is shameless o. She I she used to come here and we used to do girls night. And her father is one big time GO!" Joke shook her head.

  "Leave her o. Karma is ruthless o," Lara laughed.

  Chima, the last of the roommates entered the house, "Hi, guys. What's the meeting about?" She fell against Joke and the latter stroked her hair.

  "It's guys o. I'm tired of them," Itunu replied.

Chima sat up, "Tell me you guys have a plan to murder all men. Except our fathers and brothers," she giggled.

  "Make we exterminate them, shebi?" Lara high-fived Chima. Itunu and Joke exchanged glances.

  "What are you guys talking about?" Itunu eyed Chima.

  "What?" Chima shrugged, "we can become celibate and destroy the men. I can go and live in one of those convents in the East." Lara laughed.

  "Please, don't make me laugh," Joke held up her hand, "instead of you becoming a nun, become a Heartbreaker. Turn the tables."

  "Fantastic. Just like Steve Harvey's 'Act like a lady, think like a man'" Itunu said.

Lara smirked, "Are we plannings to revenge? I've wanted to do this for a long time. So, we're in?"

  "What do we have to lose?" Joke said.

  "Shebi it's a game? Make we beat them fair and square," Chima said.

  Itunu grinned, "Bring it on, men. We're ready."

"Deal," they all said.
