Just a few lucky humans were chosen to migrate to Selino, land of six moons, when Earth was falling apart. Now Earth is long gone, and the only thing stopping the humans from taking full advantage of their new planet are Selino's five native species:

Angui — tree-dwelling humanoid snake creatures with a penchant for hypnotism and rat jerky.

Maxis — large, nomadic cat warriors featuring opposable thumbs and some skills for gravity manipulation.

Fabri — peaceful, sentient trees who can create illusions and root themselves into the ground with literal roots.

Ranae — swamp beings who live in huts and whose primary weapon are earsplitting screeches.

Caeli — airborne, winged healers who reside primarily in mountain nests, sometimes caves.

Those species, known as patrias, are already a huge threat — and that's not to mention the hybrids, or hibri, formed among them, and generally despised by everyone, patrias included.

But new information has been discovered on the six mysterious, legendary objects known simply as the sources, information that might finally provide the humans with a way to have real control over Selino. That is, if the planet's natives will let them get that far...

Eight residents of Selino — among them a spy, a traitor, a liar, a rebel, and a runaway — are determined to find the sources, though they all have their own motives — and secrets. With one another's help, they might actually achieve their goal... though once they do, it's impossible to predict who will get the sources first. And what they intend to do with them?

That's anyone's guess.
