Twenty-One
Louis wakes up earlier then usual, so he is able to see his mum in the morning the first time in ages.
"Morning, Lou boo bear!" she says, once Louis is in the room. She is very cheery, and seems very very happy.
Louis doesn't understand why, until he notices that sitting in front of her, and Harry, who has yet to spoken, and looks quite miserable, is wedding plans, and magazines.
"Whats all this?" Louis asks, trying to sound as calm as possible, he doesn't know why he feels as though his heart as been ripped out.
"Harry, and I have decided to move the wedding up! So we're having it on these summer holidays! Isnt that exciting!" Jay beams, and snuggles into Harry's side.
And yeah, Louis is happy for her... Although he wishes it wasn't Harry getting married to her.
"Yeah... That's exciting," Louis tries to smile, but fails miserably, as he looks like he is grimacing.
Harry looks at him, almost apologetically?
Louis tilts his head, confused. Before Jay is getting up, "well, I'm off to boys. Maybe you could get Louis to help you with the seating plan?..."
"Of course, darl," Harry says, standing up, pecking Jay's lips.
Louis' eyes cast to the side. Feeling a little nacious.
Jay kisses Louis on the forehead, once Harry had sat back down, promising him a shopping day out soon, just the two of them. And once upon a time Louis would've liked that... But he feels he would miss Harry too much.
"You don't have to help if you don't want to..." Harry sighs, almost angrily, as he rubs his palms over his face.
Louis walks over, and sits down next to Harry, "I will help if you want me to, Haz..."
"Thanks, Lou... But I think I can finish this later. If much rather hang out with you," Harry smiles at the cute boy.
"Yay! Can I braid your hair?!" Louis stands up, and presses his hands together as if he was begging, and to make it harder for Harry to resist, Louis has a pout on his little, pink lips.
"Sure. Why not?" Harry chuckles, and stands up, moving the chair a little to give Louis more room, before sitting back down.
Louis giggles, as he runs around to the back of Harry. He has wanted to do this ever since he met Harry!
He starts parting Harry's hair, "Your hair is so soft..." he compliments, playing with Harry's bouncy curls.
Harry chuckles, "thank you?"
"And it smells nice..." He comments, as he starts intwining the parts.
Harry blushes... He doesn't really know why. The shampoo is what makes his hair smell good, and soft. But Louis complimenting him makes it feel like his heart keeps skipping beats. And he doesn't really know what it means.
After a while, Louis had finished braiding the luscious curls.
Louis walks around, so he can face Harry. "You look so pretty with your hair done like that, Haz!" Louis tells him, honestly.
A blush creeps it's way to Harry's cheeks, a fond smile forms on his face. He has never felt as special, as he does when he is around Louis.
"Thank you, Lou. But you look prettier," Harry tells the boy, once he has regained his ability to talk. He is so affected by Louis.
Louis walks over to him, and hugs Harry. "Thank you for letting me braid your hair, Haz..."
Harry smiles, heart thumping against his chest. Louis is so kind, and beautiful.
Louis pulls away a bit, and stares into Harry's eyes for a bit... Before moving his eyes down to Harry's lips.
"Your lips are so pretty," Louis tells him, not thinking about the words coming out of his mouth.
Harry swallows, "how about we continue with the seating plans, yeah?" And then he stands up, and yeah, Louis feels a little rejected. Well a lot actually. His heart feels like it dropped, but Harry is with his mum, he needs to start remembering that.
