| Chapter 13: Brother vs Brother. |
I watched the hotel disappear on the horizon as I pressed the gas peddle through the floor and disappeared myself. I frowned over at the empty passenger seat.
Thoughts ran wild through my outraged mind.
What changed in Dean for him to go back on his word?
He said he made his choice, kissed me, fucked me – loved me...and now this.
What the actual fuck?
There isn't any way this is actually him, right? Or was Sam right the whole time?
Sam.
I smiled, biting my lip at the memory of last night, feeling my thighs harden again and that same heat shooting through my veins.
I knew why Sam didn't come.
Dean.
That's fine, I think I made my point.
I found myself parking at the crossroads again.
I turned off the engine and growled at the dust settling from the dirt road. I frowned at the dust settling on my hood. I looked around for a few moments and then rose out of the car.
I glared around the crossing point of the roads, and looked up one road, to a bare horizon. Looked up another road, bare. The same for the other two. I looked around a final time and dropped onto my ass, crossing my legs and closing my eyes.
I focused, as Sam had taught me, and sat there, focused for a while before I opened one eye to the sound of footsteps approaching.
"Just the person I wanted to see." I smirked, pulling myself to my feet and brushing my jeans off. "Long time no see."
"I'm surprised you summoned me here." Nick spoke, glaring at my body. "That was low, bailing on me at that hotel."
"No it wasn't." I smirked, and for a moment acknowledged this newly found confidence that seemed to making his home within me. "What was low is you putting your hands on me."
Nick shifted his weight from one leg to the other and crossed his arms, and I clenched at the sound of his leather jacket squeaking.
"So, what?" He shrugged, as we both began circling each other. "Dean didn't want you anymore so you came crawling back?"
"No." I stated, simply, catching Nick off guard as his eyes shot down my left hand.
"No ring?" He inquired, his eyes flickering back up to me.
"No ring." I confirmed, glaring at his figure.
"What is it then? Azazel and I have been looking for you for weeks –" started Nick, only to be interrupted.
"- I'm aware." I hissed.
"The what do you want?" Nick gritted through annoyance.
"I have one motive." I spoke clearly as I adjusted my jacket and watched as Nick tilted his head in curiosity. "My soul."
"Your Soul." Nick repeated as he rose both eyebrows. "Why the fuck would you want that back?" He giggled, and before I could respond he continued talking. "With no soul you're hotter, you have no memory of you and I, you and Dean or even those sad pathetic excuse of parents you had."
"With my soul," I smirked, feeling my fists clench. "I'll remember everything, I'll be human –"
"- what about your Angelic Blood?" He asked, interrupting me. "It's obvious at this point you know that we've drained that."
"I could care less about that." I shot back, intriguing him. "I just want out of all of this."
"Dani..." Nick grinned down at his feet and began giggling. "...you can't just 'get out of all this,' whenever you feel like it."
"What the hell not?" I growled, stepping forward.
"You're one of the most powerful beings around now'a'days." Nick elaborated. "You realize you've died twice in the last two years, have been dragged to and from hell – with angelic blood and now you're a demon?"
"I've been told." I smirked, tilting my head at him.
"If anything, you deserve a promotion as an entity in this realm." Nick smiled, and I tightened my gaze, suspiciously, as his smile faded a little. "The power that comes with what we are is unmatched –"
"- not it's not." I shot back, short. "Angels."
"Angels aren't as badass though." Nick stated plainly as I just glared, not responding to his laugh or his smile. "Or maybe that's not what you're really looking for, you soul."
"What is it you think I'm looking for then?" I asked, finally moving to my car and leaning against the hood.
"Maybe...Wings." He smiled.

"What the HELL Sam?!" I bolted through the hotel room door as soon as that fucking purple challenger disappeared up the road. Sam stood, pulling the bathroom door closed behind him with a towel wrapped his waist.
"Wh-What?" Sam went wide eyed, looking dumb, although we both knew what was referring to.
"You slept with Dani!" I shouted, hearing my voice echoing outside, which told me the door didn't shut when I attempted to slam it shut, it bounced back open.
"You slept with Sierra." He replied, pulling some pants out of his bag and placing them on the bed. "How the hell do you think that made her feel, Dean?"
"Well –" I stopped short, clenching my jaw. "- I see her point, but you – you know how I feel about her."
"Do I?" Sam smirked, pulling a shirt over his head and buttoning his pants. "Because last time I checked, you were strung out looking for her," He continued as he approached me. "Then you were fucking Jessica – found Dani, then turned around and fucked Sierra –"
I clenched my jaw, in guilt as I muttered, "- twice."
"Twice?!" Sam echoed, wide eyed. "Seriously?"
"It's not like you guys didn't fuck while we were on mission –" I confronted, glaring at the unmade bed, feeling my entire being clench at the thought of Sam's body on Dani's, his lips on hers, his – I can't even finish that thought.
"- we didn't, actually." Sam stated, calmly, pushing his lips out in a sort of pout or childish way of saying I-told-you-so. "We had a moment, but nothing happened."
"A moment?" I almost found myself roaring. "What the hell does that mean?"
"We discussed the mutual attraction we found, but we both said we wouldn't give into those temptations because of her memory loss," Sam held up a finger, counting. "And you."
"Me?" I echoed, feeling my chest fall.
"While we're on the topic of fucking siblings..." glared Sam, as I looked up and realized he was glaring down at me now, we were almost nose-to-nose again. "... what in the fuck possessed you to sleep with Sierra...of all people?"
I blinked up at him, I could barely answer that.
"Alcohol." I answered simply and short.
"Is that your excuse for Jessica too?" Sam confronted, raising his eyebrows. "You can't keep making these excuses Dean, Dani drove you crazy in the best way –"
"- what about you?" I glared, figuratively pushing back.
"What about me?" He stepped back at my sudden response.
"You almost kiss her at the bar before she goes missing, the way you've been acting around her...looking at her...whose to say your encounter was fucking calculated?" I confronted, feeling my face flush hot with rage.
"I'll admit it," Sam started, holding his arms up in surrender, moving back towards to bed and dropping down to sit. "I've had a thing for Dani since I met her at Bobby's place, but I saw the way you looked at her and how she seemed to lock you in..."
I pressed my lips together, shrugging, knowingly.
"...she's an enchantress, Dean." Sam sighed, with a dreamy smile. "We held off on each other for days –"
"- Days?" I echoed, glaring, feeling the rage reaching my nerves, causing me to shake now.
"Days because we didn't say or do anything about the connect we had until the morning at the Gym –"
"- I knew it." I glared as he continued.
"- but she didn't want to. I didn't want to, because of you – and her memory loss." Sam reiterated. "We almost had sex last night, but she stopped it before anything could happen – she went over there to talk to you, and Sierra fucking answers the door in your shirt."
My eyes went wide.
"She didn't give in, she didn't completely blow my fucking world away," Sam sighed, looking dreamy again. "Until you fucked her sister."
"Do you know," I quivered, attempting to speak through the rage. "Do you know how infuriating it is for someone like Dani to ask me if I'd like to know how good my brother fucks?"
My eyes went wider, if it was possible, at Sam's chuckle.
"Let me guess, she implied that you wanted to 'talk to her' about how good her sister fucks?" He asked, as I glared at him. "Listen, I know I crossed a line...but I only did because it seemed as if it was a line you intentionally erased."
I swallowed hard, dropping my gaze.
He was right.
"Now," Sam sighed, getting my attention. "What possessed you to fuck Sierra?"
"Alcohol." I repeated as Sam frowned. "The first time was truly, the booze."
"The second?" Sam pushed.
"The second time, was because Dani just gave me this back." I frowned down, pulling out the Promise Ring. I sniffed a little, fighting back my temper. "I was so pissed, that when she walked in and started getting ready to shower...I just..."
Sam nodded, rose off the bed and shook his head.
A silence rested of us as I glared at him, and he me.
"Where did she go?" I asked, looking around the room. "IF anyone would know –"
"- you think I would know?" Sam scoffed, shaking his head as he started shoving clothes into a bag.
"Well..." I shrugged, trailing off and beginning to inspect the door that I attempted to slam shut.
"She invited me to go with her, wherever she was going..." sighed Sam, thinking hard. "...but she didn't tell me where she was going or why."
"I could guess why." I glared down at the Promise Ring in my hand and admired the sparkle of the diamond. "What the fuck did I just do?"
"You fucked up." Whispered Sam, glaring at me as he moved out of the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
