Chapter 10

Xephos:

Another grave for my graveyard. Another life taken by me. I don't really feel any regret, though. Whatever. It's not in my place to worry. Yoglabs has been difficult to maintain recently, everything seemed to be breaking down. I'll have the testificate a deal with that later.

3rd person:

Her hands were stained with his blood. She couldn't wash it off. She didn't want to either. She couldn't eat, sleep. She wouldn't talk to anybody. Nobody saw her. If they did, she would just ask them. Beg them to kill her. She wanted to be with Duncan. Up in heaven, or down in hell. She didn't know what went over her... She just had this sudden blood lust. She wanted to kill him. And so did Xephos. And so they did. She watched him slip away, as all her dreams turned into dust.

Nano stared into the hearth of the mahogany house, and watched the auburn flames embrace. She erased the thoughts from her mind by staring at the burnt ash. What happens if... If she died too? Would Lalna accept it and welcome her with open arms? Or will he despise her for killing him?

Nano tore her hair out in frustration, and grief. A shiver slithered down her spine, and she got a strange sense of De Ja Vu. Like the world was going to fall apart again.

Xephos had his head resting against his wooden table. Various stacks of paper were scattered around his office, and the walls were painted blinding white. It was the aura that made his head suddenly shoot up. Briefly pulling a hand through his ruffled hair, Xephos sprinted down the hallway at full speed, straight to the authors. His expression was worried, and distracted. He went into YogsPikas' room, and saw the notebook had gone. Who had taken it? It was a petty thing he didn't really want to worry about.

Nano sensed the alarm even before Xephos came.

"What is it?"She asked, deadly serious, standing up from the sofa.

"The world-this world... It's falling apart. The-"Xephos began.

"WORLDHOLES!"A random voice called.(Cough cough, Braeburn.)

"Yes, those. This world is being consumed. It's being consumed by the void. Everyone here will surely die."

"W-What?!"

"I-I'm afraid it's true... Look."Xephos gestured to the large, black smears of blackness surrounding the two.

Shock was all Nano felt when she saw them. As much as she hated her life, she still loved it here.

"This blackness... What will it do? What happened when it last came?"

Xephos paused, a pained expression creeping into his face."It... It will eat the world. This world of creation is being consumed by the destroyer. And... the last time a world was consumed was the Alliance world you lived in with Lalna, as monarchy."

"That... That was..."

Xephos started to panic."Its taking action! We have to save ourselves before we all lose everything!"

"No!"Nano cried out."I need to bring Lalna's body!"

"No."Xephos said firmly."He will only slow us down... and what's the point if he's already dead?"

"But he... I want Lalna to be..."

"Shut up, and hurry!!"Xephos roughly tugged Kim's arm an ran. He ran to the Virtual Reality room, if there were going to be any of those... they would be here.

"Nano. The void will swallow us whole and we will die, unless we find one of the wormholes. Here at YogLabs we've been researching it and, by testing on it, it is a portal. We don't know to where, but we have to pray for our safety."

Nano looked desperate."But Lalna..."

"JUST SHUT UP ABOUT LALNA ALREADY. Lalna this, Lalna that!"Xephos shouted."Cant you just love someone else?"He asked meekly.

Nano remained silent. She was well aware of the blackness crawling around the colourful room, unravelling the space and time fabric. Ominous blacks shadowed her mind and she didn't know what to say to Xephos.

"Whatever."He muttered as he got up.

She clenched and relaxed her fist constantly, her anxiety eating her away from the inside.

"Look!"Xephos' eyes brightened."Its... It's a worm hole! Quick, lets go in!"

"I'm not leaving here without Duncan!"Gusts of wind started to whistle around them, the world being utterly destroyed.

"Just leave him! Or die here with him!"Xephos shouted.

"But..."Nano looked, divided.

She could live a happy life with Xephos by her side. Or she could die like she lived, with Lalna.

Before she could decide, a vice grip tightened around her arm and jerked her into the worm hole.

A worm hole, they are said to be if you go through one you travel back in time. If Nano did, could she fix everything wrong she did? Or would she forget everything? And most importantly-would Lalna be back?

(AN: Well guys that WOULD be the end of the chapter buuuuut I'm going to be nice and give you a preview. As an apology for not updating that much lately.)

The surroundings are white. White and blue. Like the sky. Fluffy marshmallow clouds dip beneath my feet, as I get my trusty notebook out. With various Pokémon drawings and faces with wrong proportions... Yep, definitely mine. I flicked to a page, it had one big word written in curvy writing.

'Alliance'

Skim-reading through it, it is about a prince, and a princess. Rivalling each other. A Romeo and Juliet style love story. The story quickly spiralled into nothingness as bad things kept on happening. This can't be it. This ending... It isn't an ending at all. I have to... I have to change it.

So I flick to where I left off, and pick up my pen...
