Chapter Fourteen
PLEASE READ AUTHORS' NOTE AT END!!!
This chapter is not going to be all that interesting, but I promise, next chapter will have a lot of excitement and action in it. I am so sorry that it has been a while since I last updated, but I have a lot going on. I am in track, and don't get home until five, then I have chores and homework. I promise I will update on the weekends, three chapters at least.

Tobias P.O.V.
I wake up two times that night, both from Allaya's cries. First, she needed a diaper change, then she was hungry. The third time she wakes up, it's seven o'clock in the morning, so I get up anyways. Her diaper doesn't smell bad, and I don't think she's cold or warm. I sit up on the bed and pick her up in my arms, holding her against my chest. She calms down right away, maybe she was just tired of laying in the same position, that happens to me.
I carry her with me into the kitchen. Caleb and Matthew said they would be here at 7:45, so I have forty-five minutes until they arrive. I am still in my pajamas, so I will have to change later. My stomach rumbles. I told Caleb and Matthew I would have breakfast here, since we are meeting early in the morning.
Since I have company, I decide to make a big breakfast: Eggs, hash-browns, and sausage. This is my typical breakfast, so I've made it many times. I get out everything I need with one arm, since Allaya is in my other. I don't make the breakfast yet, I just put everything out on the counters, since I still have forty minutes until they arrive.
I lay Allaya down on the couch in the living-room, and go back into my bedroom. I open up my closet and pull out a simple outfit: Jeans and a plain, white shirt. I never dress fancy, unless I head out to a fancy place, and that happens rarely.
I dress quickly, not wanting to leave Allaya alone for too long. I walk back into the living-room to find her asleep, snuggled up under her blanket, on the couch. A smile stretches across my face, she looks like Tris.
I shake the thought out of my head. I can't think about her, about Tris, otherwise I will break apart again.
I go back into the kitchen and begin the breakfast. Since I need to make a lot of food, I need to use three pans: One for the eggs, one for the hash-browns, and one for the sausage.
I cooked a lot as a kid, while I was with Marcus, so I'm okay at cooking. I turn the stove on, and butter the pans, that way the food doesn't stick. When I finish, I put the food in the pans, and watch it, making sure it doesn't over cook. Since the eggs need to be scrambled, I have to be constantly stirring them.
I can hear Allaya moving around in the living-room. She doesn't sound upset, but I can hear her moving. She loves to look at the moving fan, which is right above her, so maybe she is happy. She has a habit if wiggling around if she's happy.
The pans sizzle as the food is being finished, and I turn the stove off. It's 7:35, so I have ten minutes until they are here, but they might come early or late. I take three plates out, and distribute the food evenly.
I hear a knock at the door. It must be Caleb and Matthew. They don't have a key and my door is locked, so they have to knock.
I leave the food and walk to the front door, passing the living-room. Allaya is watching the fan, as expected. I open up the door and see Caleb and Matthew waiting. They come in, without saying a word.
"Do you have the stuff?" I ask them, heading back to the kitchen.
Matthew looks at me and says, "There was a problem."
"What problem?" I say. I try to sound normal, but my voice comes out squeaky. I won't be able to live with myself if we don't find Tris.
"I couldn't make the baby model." Matthew says. "There's no possible way to construct a promising baby model. It just can't be done."
"Oh." Is all I say.
Caleb starts up now, "However, I was able to make the tracker and security cameras, so we have those." He says, pointing to a box on the table, which I'm guessing he set down earlier. I didn't even notice.
"So you have the tracker?" I say.
Caleb nods his head and says, "What?"
"I have an idea." I say, as I put the pieces together in my mind.
