Allaya's cries wake me up again, but this time it's 6:12, a reasonable time. Today's Saturday, so I have the day off. I don't know what I will do with Allaya on Monday, when I have to go back to work. Maybe I can get someone to watch her. Shauna could, since she still can't walk, she doesn't have to work like the rest of us.

Allaya's diaper is fine, and she's not too cold or too warm, so she must be hungry. I shuffle through the bags of stuff Cara brought over last night, and find the baby food. It says that I have to put it in a bottle, and set it in a pot of warm water, that's not boiling. Then, I have to let it cool to room temperature. I don't see the point of heating it up and letting it cool again, but I don't want to mess anything up, so I do it anyways.

I bring Allaya with me into the kitchen and make her food. With her in one of my arms, I feed her with the other, since she can't hold the bottle up herself. Babies aren't strong, and can't control their body's. It's funny to watch them shake their arms around in frustration, but it's also saddening.

When Allaya finishes with her bottle, I prop her up on the couch, and give her the blanket to play with. She doesn't smile, not on purpose at least, but I don't mind. I walk back into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I decide on eggs with cheese, hash-browns, toast and orange juice.

As I make my breakfast, I can hear baby noises coming from the living room. It's not laughter, or cries, just baby noises. The pan makes a sizzling sound as my breakfast finishes. I pull out a plate and assemble everything into a sandwich, and a glass of orange juice for my drink. I bring it into the living room to watch Allaya as I eat.

It only takes me a couple minutes to eat, and Allaya is still happy when I finish. I walk back into the kitchen and begin to clean up the mess. I hear the front door open and I walk over to see who it is. It's Cara again, with a smile across her face as she looks at Allaya.

"She still here?" She says confused, but still happy to see the baby.

"Yeah, why not?" I say.

She shrugs her shoulders and says, "Just thought you would've done something."

My mind goes back to the note that Tris left me, Cara needs to know. "I can't now."

"Why not?" Cara says as she walks over to Allaya.

"You should just see for yourself." I say as I walk back into my bedroom to retrieve the note. Cara stays in the living room with Allaya. When I walk back, Allaya is in Cara's arms, and she's bouncing her up and down. Cara is really good with babies, maybe she read about them while back in Erudite headquarters.

"So, you going to tell me why you can't report her?" Cara asks, without looking away from Allaya.

"Here." I say as I hand Cara the note, and take Allaya from her arms so she can read it. I watch Cara's face as she begins reading. It starts off blank, then turns excited, then sad, then she looks up at me with her eyes filled with all different emotions that I don't know which one she's truly feeling.

"Tris...alive?" She says it confused, but also in an excited way.

"Cara... grammar help?" I say, to tease her because she didn't say a complete, Erudite sentence like normally. She glares at me, but I can see her eyes full of happiness. Everyone was affected when Tris 'died,' we were all hurt.

"She's still alive, she's out there somewhere." I say it in a whisper so only she can here, as if someone else is here that I didn't want to hear what I just said, but we're alone.

Cara nods her head, "How do we tell the others?" She says. I hadn't even thought of that, I was too caught up with Allaya and knowing Tris was still alive, to realize that the rest of the gang doesn't know.

"We should get all of them over here tomorrow." I say. I don't want to make it today, because some of them are too far and it would be too short a notice, plus I want Allaya to myself for a little while.

Cara nods her head and says, "I should go, my mom is not feeling good, and I don't want to leave her alone.

I say, "Of course," while nodding my head. I lead Cara over to the door, and watch her leave.

"Bye," She says just before she shuts the door, not leaving me enough time to respond. I can't help but think that Cara's mom isn't sick, that she just made up that excuse so she could leave, but why?

I sigh and go back to Allaya.

"Where's Tris?" I whisper, while kissing Allaya's forehead.

Spoiler Alert: Next chapter is in Tris' point of view.
