Growing up is wierd. ..........

Two months later

"Where is the bride?"i heard some voices ask before entering the room

She held my hand nervously

"Were you not the person that wanted to get married before entering university?"Halima asked with a cheeky smile

"An arranged marriage for that matter"Amira added grinning

"And she ended up with Usama,how destiny works is beyond control"Halima said and they high fived
I shook my head at them

"You people shut up you are making me more nervous"Firdaus spoke with a cracking voice

The elderly women entered we exchanged pleasantries before they lift her veil up

"Ah Masha Allah,she is so pretty.Usama yayi dache(Usama is lucky)"the fair chubby woman spoke first

"Gaskiya kam(so true)"the dark chubby woman added and they took Firdaus's pictures

And they left after giving her some gifts

"When is your husband and his guys coming?i am already sleepy"Halima said after she yawned

"Sleep here"Firdaus suggested nervously

"No thank hour"Halima said smiling

"You want to leave me alone?"Firdaus asked looking petrified

We burst into laughs except her

"No we will all stay like one happy family"Amira said ironically and Halima gave her a thumb up

Suddenly we heard knock on the door

"They are here"Halima whispered as we quickly got up and adjust

Amira got up and opened the door but stood on the way

"No pay no entrance"Amira spoke
Looking at Amira,she has grown confident within the year
I think it's growth

Halima and I stood behind and we came face to face with our past

I was looking at both Ahmad and Usama while Halima was looking at Bilyamin

After negotiation for some minutes,they paid the amount we wanted

"Bye Firdaus,be good to your husband"Halima said giving her brief hug
Then Amira hugged her when it came to me she held to me tight

"Let go of her"Halima whispered softly and she lets go

And then we carried our bags rushing out

Amira's driver came to pick her up while we waited for ours

"We could drop you"a voice that sounded too familiar spoke

Halima and i turned to find Bilyamin And Ahmad

Before we could speak a voice spoke"Never mind,they have us now"

Bilyamin and Ahmad hesitantly walked away

And our future husbands stood in front of us smiling

"You are late!"Halima exclaimed hitting Yasir with her purse

"It's the traffic"he said chuckling

We all turned around and started walking to the car
Yasir knocked on his car

"Meet our cousin"he said

The car window rolled down

"Munib!"Halima and i exclaimed

"Is everyone related to one another in this state?"Halima asked causing them to laugh softly

"Oh yeah I just recalled Munib once told me your mom was his aunty"i said thoughtfully

"Munib I an still angry with you"i said honestly
Munib stopped texting me or anything since before we graduated

"I had to back down for my cousin,I am sorry"he apologised

Yasir and Numan looked confused while Halima cleared her throat because of the tensed situation

"What are you talking about?"Numan asked with furrowed brows

"Nothing,let's just go"i said trying to avoid more tensed moments

I entered a different car with Numan because I was going home while Halima drove away in Yasir's car

"Do you know what I heard about pilots?"i asked trying to light up the situation

He shook his head

"They  don't drive cars"i said laughing but he had a straight expression

"That's not funny"he blurted and I glared at him

"Atleast I tried"i said grinning

"So you want to tell me what you and Munib were saying?"he asked his eyes still on the road

"Is it necessary for you to know?"i asked feeling stressed already

"I am not patient"he said softly and I rolled my eyes at him

"Yeah you are a doctor"i teased

And he laughed shaking his head

"Okay...Munib and i were crushing on each other one time but nothing above that"i confessed and he sighed

"There is a box,make sure you carry it when you are going in"he said smiling 

"You are not coming in to greet Aah?"i asked
"You are too shy of her or scared of my brothers?"i asked again and he grinned looking at me for few seconds before he focused on the road

"Both"he admitted

I chuckled carrying the box the moment i got down then I walked into the house locking the door

"Oh she is back"Jamal announced the moment i entered the kitchen

"You people were going to eat fried indomie without me?"i asked slightly annoyed

"We thought you must have eaten"Kamal said passing forks to us while Salim dish the indomie

"No food beats my Salim's food"i said shaking my head

And we chuckled

"Where is Aah?"i asked

"Asleep"Salim replied

And we started eating our indomie happily

The moment i entered the room I locked the door

And opened the box
It was chocolate,a rose and a card

I opened it and my eyes widened

"The double wedding
Nailah weds Dr Numan and Halima weds captain Yasir on 22nd december"

"That's like three months from now"i said looking at my phone

I was asked what date would I like to marry Numman and I told them to choose and they did
Halima and i are getting married on thesame day
Ammamih,I love you and I miss you every day

I kept every thing side and I laid on my bed thinking of what and what they would do for me if they were alive right now
