You are too young to live sad....

Thursday

We were sitting at the waiting room when the guy that met with an accident limped around

I gasped

"You see why doctors are amazing?Doctor Abba made sure the man gets better"the nurse said

"I agree"another one agreed

He smiled to everyone before,He limped back to the ward

Few hours later,Ammamih was transferred back to the ward by the nurses and we followed

She was unconscious,Doctor Abba arrived fixing the blood swiftly

"How is she doing?"Jamal asked

"She is great actually"Doctor Abba replied

"She can be discharged anytime soon,later around Isha" he added then he looked at me with his brows furrowed

"Alhamdulilah"we all said in unison

"You didn't go to school today?"he asked when I noticed he was still looking at me

"My mind will not be at rest"i replied smiling

"True"he admitted with a grin

"See you later"he said to my brothers

"I pray it's her Yusra(Ease)"i prayed at we looked at her

"Ameen" my brothers said in unison

"I will go get food"Salim said walking out

Ammamih's phone rings and "Asiya" appeared on the screen

"As salam alaikum,Aunty Asiya"i greeted the moment i picked

"Wa alaikumus salam"she greeted back

"How is your mother?she told me yesterday she was having surgery
Hope it was successful?"Aunty Asiya asked anxiously

"Yes Alhamdulilah but she is still unconscious"i replied smiling

"I need to speak to her doctor,can you call back when you see him?"She asked with a professional tone

"Okay"i replied

And she hung up after few minutes i saw a bank alert
Aunty Asiya transferred twenty thousnand to Ammamih's account

"What did she say?"Kamal asked removing his headphones

"She said she wants to speak to Doctor Abba"i replied looking at him

"Then go look for him"Jamal urged
I nodded getting up

I searched for him in the rest of the ward and no sign of him

I decided to go outside and I saw him in the garden sitting on a bench operating on his phone

"I am not stalking you"i said quickly

"Nailah,come sit"he said smiling
And my heart started beating

"Ammamih's best friend wants to speak to you"i said the moment i sat

He nodded keeping the phone inside his pocket

I dialed her number and handed the phone to him

"As salam Alaikum,it's Doctor Abba"he spoke softly
And i just put my hand under my chin studying how his facial features look and I was smiling like a fool

"Oh yes...."he responded

I zoned out of their conversation recalling Hannah's visit
Yeah,Jamal is still with his girlfriend.she visited Ammamih twice but i missed her visits because I was in school.

I felt something prick me

I glared looking at the direction the pain was coming from
And he hurts into laughs while I rubbed my arm

"Sorry,I have been calling your name you seem lost and i can't touch you since I am not your muharram.so I used the stick"he explained dropping the stick

"No is okay"i reply smiling at how thoughtful he is

A girl approach us with a cup of tea

"Please Get another one for her"he requested

He so kind and handsome and polite

"No"i declined shaking my head

"Their tea is amazing trust me"he insisted smiling

Few minutes later she brought my cup of tea and he paid

We took the tea sip by sip in silence

"Thank you,for everything,"I started And he collected my cup placing it on a tray

"My brothers said you performed the surgery for free"i explained 

"Don't mention"he said smiling and it showed his one sided dimple
I just noticed

"You know,doctors like you make me feel less scared about studying medicine
I think that's my field in sha Allah"i admitted excitedly

"That's good"he said

We exchanged smiles before I decided to just tell him,I have always been outspoken so it's better I tell him how I feel before it's too late

"I find myself thinking about you the most
You know your voice soothes my mind
Your smile makes my heart beat a thousand mile
I think I am too young to be in love but i can't hide the fact I am
I have never felt this way with anyone
I love you"i confessed my eyes closed nervously

"You are a small child,love shouldn't be in your dictionary now
Nailah,you people are leaving the hospital today"he replied crushing my heart and I opened my eyes with tears

"That's why i mustered all my courage to tell you because if we leave today i don't know where we will meet again
You are my first love you know and you called me a small child,do you love me or not?"i said boldly
And he kept quiet looking away

"Your silence says it all,thank you doctor Abba"i said with teary eyes

I stood up and left him

I wiped my tears before entering the ward and I met Aah

"Aah!"i exclaimed hugging her and she pat my back gently
I didn't know the time I started crying
I just got my heart broken
By a handsome,kind,polite doctor

She says something in our language like silly girl pulling me away and she wiped my tears.

Suddenly Ammamih opens her eyes slowly making us to smile

"How are you?" we all asked in unison

"Alhamdulilah"she replied smiling

Aah and Ammamih started gisting softly
Isha time flew fast and here we are

Doctor Abba was signing Ammamih's discharge papers but i could feel his eyes on me

After he signed it,He told her she is suppose to eat and what she is not suppose to eat and he gave us a list of her drugs

Aah blessed him and the heart breaker was smiling
I was even stupid to think he will love a plain girl like me
I'm sure his girl friend is one in a million

After they bought the drugs and everything .we bid good byes to everyone
The nurses,the patients in the ward

"Ah Hajiya you are going home?"the receptionist asked smiling

"Yes"Ammamih replied

"Tohm we hope you are better"she said excitedly

"In sha Allah"we all said in unison

And we entered the car

When I glanced at the hospital entrance through the window I saw Doctor Abba waving slowly with a half smile and I huffed turning around

Finally no more hospital and my Ammamih is better....Alhamdulilah

Yay they are going home
