Tuesday

After Fajr prayers,I got ready for school then got downstairs

"School have resummed"i said the moment i glanced at the plate in my front

Salim made fried yam and sauce

"We know but we can't go and leave you alone,we can easily read handout but you need to be present to understand every lesson"Jamal explained to me why they are still present and why I need to attend school

"I understand"i said nodding

"How was your night?"Salim asked with a raised brow

"Hope you didn't dream about a certain someone with  A initials"he added and I frowned in confusion then it came to me that he was trying to tease me concerning Doctor Abba

"Shut up!"i exclaimed and he rolled his eyes

My phone beeped indicating a message

"Hello Nailah❤
It's Munib(it's silly because you already have my contact)
I am sorry to tell you that we are moving back to London
Dad was suddenly transferred there since last week
I called you yesterday to inform you but i couldn't tell you because you will be sad
I am sorry,I know we have gotten close and we have some kind of connection
I have to admit,I flirt alot but out of all the girls. I flirt with...I think about you last before going to bed.i have a crush on you and I am sure the feeling is mutual
I am leaving now if we are destined to be I will come back for you

I closed my eyes tight,that really hurts
That moment when you realise your crush is crushing on you but he left the country.

"What's wrong?"Jamal asked with furrowed brows

I sighed shaking my head

"Nothing"i replied forcing a smile

I carried my phone putting it inside my bag

"See you later"i said immediately standing up from my chair

"But your breakfast"Kamal called for the first time

"I am not hungry"i replied

I stood up and left sadly

School has been really empty without  Munib

But I can't help it but feel sad and I guess I am glad
It will keep us all away from committing sin(you know touching and all)

"Nailah,what are thinking?"Ammamih asked bringing me out of my thoughts

"Go rinse the cup for me"she urged giving me the cup

"Oh sorry Ammamih"i apologised collecting the cup

I am in the hospital now,my brothers left to get some things cleared

Suddenly I collided onto a wall

"What are you thinking about?"a familiar voice asked
Walls don't talk,I looked up and found the eyes I love getting lost in

"I am sorry doctor Abba"i spoke smiling

He smiled and my heart started beating frantically
Why am i feeling this way?

"Let me escort you before you bump into our patients making them loose balance"he joked

And i laughed forgetting all my worries for some time

"Don't worry"i assured

"You are still too young,don't think too much"he said softly

"Okay"i said but in a very low tone

"I will go check on your mother"he informed

I nodded and we parted ways

When I got back,my brothers were back also

"She needs blood
Like two bags,when you get it.contact me
Mother has my number now"he said smiling
Did he just call Ammamih,Mother?

"Thank You,doctor"Ammamih said smiling

"We can donate right?"Salim asked because his blood group is O+
But then mine is O+ also

"Yes,just go to the lab"Doctor Abba said 

"Lets go"i said dropping the cup on the drawer next to Ammamih's bed

"Sit there,We are enough"Kamal said glaring at me

I huffed

After some minutes they came back with glummy faces

"Each bag is ten thousand and if any of us is to donate is double the amount because test has to be carried out"Jamal informed
And i sighed feeling scared already

"But don't worry we will look for money,in sha Allah"Ammamih said hopefully

The thought of ZamZam suddenly pops in my head
ZamZam is my primary school friend and
Her father normally helps the poor
We still keep in contact here and there.

Her father is my only hope,since Ammamih needs it urgently

I quickly texted her telling her why we need the money

Hopefully,by tomorrow she will reply

"As salam alaikum"some voices called and I knew it was my friends

"Wa alaikumus salam"we greeted back in unison

I look up and saw Halima,Amira and Firdaus walking in with plastic bags.

They have been visiting Ammamih,
Firdaus and her parents came once
Even Amina but Halima's parent travelled

"How is your health?" Halima asked and Ammamih smiled sitting up

"I'm better girls,thank you for checking on me"Ammamih said and I adjusted her drip

"No problem"Firdaus said softly and the girls nodded
Amira seemed shy of Salim

We started gisting untill after Magrib when they came to pick them

"Thanks for coming once again"i said to them

"You are welcome"they said in unison
Halima seemed troubled so i made her stop ushering the girls to go to the car

"Halima,you seem not yourself"i said

"Well,my engagement has been called off.Grandmother still doesn't like their family"she explained with teary eyes

"No way"i said still in shock then I pulled her into a hug

"Anyways I have to go,I will call you later"she said pulling away then she quickly wiped her tears

"Take care"i whispered enough for her to hear

the car drove away leaving with my thoughts

I came out of my thoughts due to the wailing

I looked infront of me,it was a woman...she was crying very loud
Sitting on the ground

"My son!my one and only son is gone!"she sobbed

I was going to approach her when a man and a teenage girl walked towards her making her stand

I didn't know the time tears started trailing down my cheeks

"You are crying?"a voice asked after I felt someone's presence by my side
I looked to my right and saw Doctor Abba

"This happens in hospitals alot"he said studying me

"You have seen alot of death then"i spoke nervously

"I am doing my housemanship anyways,not alot"he replied with a smile that made me feel much more than just a crush

"Your mother was looking for you"he added handing a handkerchief over to me
I was hesitating but i collected it anyways

"Okay"i said wiping my tears then I walked away
