The group flew back to Yavin since they had nowhere else to go and made a mass funeral pyre for their fallen Jedi friends whose corpses were still scattered across the ground.

For years they stayed in isolation, constantly checking the HoloNet for info about the new Sith Lord.

Signe was correct when she said it was Anakin.

Only now he was known as Darth Vader.

Occasionally they would risk runs to equally secluded planets to scavenge for supplies since they had no credits before returning.

Signe and Sean grew closer overtime, as well as Amy and Mark as they spent more time together, learning about each other's last lives they lived when the Jedi still existed.

The astromechs didn't have much use, but they kept them nonetheless mainly because they held sentimental value to them.

Currently Mark and Amy were honing their lighsaber fighting skills in a duel between them, Mark currently having the upper hand.

"I'm making a run to Tatooine, anyone wanna cane with?" Tyler offered as they fought on.

"Sure." Mark panted as he deactivated his lighsaber, glad to be able to go somewhere that wasn't the stone prison he was stuck in.

Everyone boarded on the gunship once again before heading off to go get more supplies, leaving the astromechs behind.

That was only one of their many mistakes they made.

The ride to Tatooine was silent as Mark fiddled with Arin's old padawan braid like he usually did when he was nervous, Tyler laying down on the medbay cot to take a nap while Amy sat down on the floor to mediate and Signe and Sean sat by each other holding hands, unsure of what to say to one another.

"We're here." Mark finally announced to break the uncomfortable atmosphere that hung over the group as they arrived and pulled out of hyperspace, gradually slowing down as Mark landed the ship in docking bay ninety-four right next to the Mos Eislsy Cantina.

They quickly grabbed their cloaks so they could use their hoods to hide their faces before walking off towards cantina.

"I got a bad feeling about this." Tyler muttered as they walked in, careful to keep his lighsaber and face concealed.

"What do ya want?" The bartender, which was a four armed alien, demanded as they spat into a cup, wiping the inside of it with the gem of their dirty once white apron tied around their waist.

"They're with me." A man spoke up before any of them could answer, his voice sounding familiar.

"Yami?" Mark whispered in disbelief as he sat down on a stool at the bar next to him.

"Listen, I found a Jedi Master here. Heard his name is Obi-Wan Kenobi." Yami informed Mark quietly.

"What're you doing here? How did you escape the temple? How did you find out about Obi-Wan?" Sean barraged him with questions.

"The council sent me out on a mission to liberate a planet through negotiation. Didn't quite work out that well for me." Yami mumbled bitterly as he lifted up his shirt slightly to reveal a blaster scar on his ribs that nearly reached his back in length and still burned an angry red color.

"Ouch." Ethan winced out of sympathy.

"It happens." Yami shrugged as he lowered his shirt.

"I found Kenobi in the Wastelands, which is the most dangerous part of this dustball of a planet." Yami explained.

"And I'm here because I thought I was the only Jedi left, so I didn't know where to go." Yami added.

"Come with us!" Robin exclaimed in a hushed tone.

"Where are you guys hiding at?" Yami asked.

"We've picked up the temple at Yavin." Signe stated.

Yami hesitated, downing the rest of his drink before slamming the glass back down on the counter.

"Count me in." Yami nodded.

Yami led the seven to Kenobi's sand hut in the Wastelands, talking about his adventures he had until they reached their destination.

Mark lightly rapped his knuckles on the door before stepping back, waiting with excitement tinged with impatience for the Jedi Master to emerge.

When he did, they were surprised by what they saw.

He looked to be around his fifties, but his dark chocolate brown eyes made him look light years older, especially since they were rimmed with red and baggy from lack of sleep. He was dressed in a light tan tunic and brown combat boots with a brown cloak, his short white hair sticking up wildly in various places.

"Who are you?" He asked the group warily.

Wordlessly the eight unclipped their lightsabers from their belts and activated them, illuminating Obi-Wan's face with a variety of shades of blue and green.

"Where did you get those?!" Obi-Wan demanded, suddenly becoming furious.

"We're Jedi for Yavin four." Sean explained hastily.

"You mean..." Obi-Wan trailed off, hope lighting up his eyes that seemed to take years off of his age.

"Come in." He ushered the party in.

They nodded in appreciation as they clipped their lightsabers back into their belts and filed into the cramped hut, spying only a couch, bathroom, fridge, a small chest, and nothing else inside.

"We came to see if you wanted to come with us." Amy invited as she shut the door behind her.

"To Yavin? I can't leave." Obi-Wan shook his head sadly.

"Why?" Ethan frowned in confusion.

"There's some...business I have to take care of here." Obi-Wan replied curtly.

"What about Darth Vader? We need to work together to stop him!" Mark protested.

"There's nothing I can do, he won't listen to his master anymore." Obi-Wan sighed remorsefully, the hope in his eyes dying out to reveal how tired he was.

"You're his master?!" Signe chimed in in disbelief.

"I was once. Not anymore." Obi-Wan corrected her, sinking down onto the couch.

"You two are from Coruscant, am I right?" Obi-Wan asked Amy and Signe.

The two nodded solemnly in response.

"I guess more were lucky to survive besides Yoda and myself." Obi-Wan mused.

"Master Yoda?!" Amy and Signe repeated in shock.

"Yes, but I don't know where he is. The last time I contacted him was...never mind." Obi-Wan shook his head.

"Anyway, I can't leave." Obi-Wan sighed.

"Are you sure?" Amy interjected.

"I'm sure." Obi-Wan answered, a ghost of a smile gracing his lips before the eight shuffled back out, glancing back at the old Jedi Master one last time before he closed the door behind him.

They bought food, water, and other necessities using the last of Yami's money before boarding the ship and returning home.

Someone was there waiting for them when they arrived.

Darth Vader.

"Stay behind me." Mark commanded his friends as he got up out of the pilot's seat and moved to stand defensively in front of his friends, his hand hovering over his lighsaber as he stepped off of the ship.

Darth Vader silently activated his lighsaber, a blood red blade extending out of the hilt.

Suddenly Vader lunged forward and swung at Mark.

But he was ready.

Mark quickly activated his own lightsaber and blocked the attack, using the force to push Vader back a few feet so he had more time to calculate his next move.

"Your are surprisingly strong in the force for someone who's so naive." Vader remarked, his baritone voice sending shivers down Mark's spine as he tried to look brave for the sake of his friends.

"We'll see how naive I am when I defeat you." Mark growled before charging forward.

"Guys go, I'll keep him distracted!" Mark barked, gritting his teeth in concentration as his attack was blocked, nearly making him stumble by the strength of Vader's defense.

"We're not leaving you!" Sean argued, darting forward despite Signe's protests so he could go help his friend.

Tyler and Ethan exchanged glances before running out, Amy and Signe following behind them without hesitation.

"So you're not all cowards." Vader mused as he fought off Mark's attacks as if swatting off a fly before abruptly stabbing Mark in the stomach.

Time seemed to move in slow motion as Mark's eyes grew wide in shock and his lighsaber fell out of his hand, deactivating once it hit the stone ground.

Once Vader ripped his lighsaber out of him, Mark collapsed into his knees before falling onto his back with a sickening thud.

"No!" Amy cried in rage and remorse, running towards his prone body before anyone could stop her.

Vader' blade sliced through her side, causing her to cry out in pain and fall to the stone ground by Mark's side.

"I-I lo-ve yo-u." Amy stammered in between painful breaths, tears welling in her eyes as she managed to look over at Mark.

"I lo-ve...."

Mark trailed off as his eyes glazed over, staring lifelessly into her eyes as she pressed one last kiss to his still warm lips before grabbing his hand before she breathed her last by his side, her hand falling limp.

"YOU SICK TWISTED BASTARD!" Sean screamed at the top of his lungs, tears rapidly welling in his eyes as Signe held him back, whispering soothing words that fell upon deaf ears to him.

"Who is next to die?" Vader taunted as he glanced around at the six remaining Jedi.

"Me." Tyler spoke up, his once gentle hazel eyes shining with unbridled rage as he activated his lighsaber.

Before he could even make a move, Vader used the force to pull him into his lighsaber before tossing his dead body aside by the others.

"You're all so pathetic." Vader sneered as Tyler choked out one last gasp before falling still.

"So are you Anakin!" Signe taunted, storming forward with Sean by her side.

Vader retaliated by stopping both of them in their tracks by using the force before making Signe point the lighsaber towards Sean.

"I'm so sorry." Signe whispered tearfully.

"You'll be forgiven. Always and completely." Sean promised, a single tear trailing down his cheek before Signe unwillingly decapitated Sean, causing his head to roll towards Vader until he kicked it away from him in disgust before stabbing Signe himself.

Only Yami, Robin, and Ethan remained.

"Yami what are you doing?!" Ethan yelled as Yami ran back inside the ship.

"I'm getting out of here, that's what I'm doing!" Yami shouted back as the ship lifted into the air.

Vader tossed his lighsaber at him in a perfect arc, killing Yami and causing the ship to fall back down to the ground and explode, burning Ethan alive as Robin was flung forward, landing in front of Vader.

"How did you find us?" Robin coughed as he struggled to stand back up, feeling Vader's black boot stomp on his back and force him back into the ground.

"Never leave traces of your presence anywhere if you want to stay hidden." Vader advised before driving the blade of his lighsaber into Robin's back.

Vader paused to take in the massacre he commuted before storming back to his TIE fighter, black cake billowing behind him in the wind as he abandoned the Jedi's corpses were they laid on the stone.
