Coruscant

"What the hell happened here?" Tyler asked as they quickly marched down the carpeted giant hall before turning left and jogging up a set of stairs that led into a library filled with shelves of blue holographic books.

"Clones happened here." Signe muttered bitterly as they walked to the back of the room past a large oval shaped table with chairs laying on their sides scattered around it.

A girl with long blonde hair dressed in a chocolate brown tunic that matched her eyes was kneeling by Mark's prone form, bandages wrapped around his ribs and forehead.

CHICA was still nowhere to be seen.

"Mark?" Ethan spoke softly, kneeling down beside his friend.

"He'll be okay, he just has a couple of broken ribs and a cut on his forehead." The blonde haired girl assured Ethan with a small friendly smile.

"Who are you two?" Tyler interjected, glancing between the duo.

"Right, I'm Amy, and this is Signe." The blonde haired woman introduced herself and the other girl.

"We're Jedi Knights." Amy stated proudly.

"Mark and I are Jedi Masters." Sean chimed in, pride tinging his voice.

"Ow...what the hell happened?" Mark groaned, waking up as if on cue as he gently rubbed his bandaged forehead, wincing in pain.

"Your ship crashed and you scared the shit out of all of us." Sean explained as calmly as he could, relief flooding through him.

"Who are they?" Mark weakly waved a hand in Amy and Signe's direction.

"That's Amy, and that's Signe. They saved your lives." Tyler remarked as he gestured to them in turn.

"Thank you." Mark nodded in appreciation before struggling to push himself up off of the ground.

"C'mon, I'll help ya." Tyler grunted, allowing Mark to sling his arm around his neck as use him as support to help him stand.

His face looked abnormally pale, but otherwise he seemed to be doing okay much to the trio's relief.

"We have to get somewhere safer, preferably off of this planet." Signe advised.

"We have our ships." Ethan chimed in.

"They won't fit everyone." Tyler reminded him.

"We have ships in our hangar we can get to." Amy interjected.

"Perfect, we'll take one big ship for all of us." Sean nodded.

"Yeah, but how as we supposed to get past the armada orbiting the planet?" Amy pointed out sourly.

"Don't forget about the clones in the hangar." Signe sighed.

"We'll just have to fight through them." Mark shrugged.

"I'll go get the astromechs." Ethan volunteered before running back to their starfighters.

"Okay then, follow me." Amy instructed, jogging out of the library with the others in tow.

They ran to a balcony area swarming with white armored people that looked identical to the ones Sean, Mark, Tyler, and Ethan had seen earlier.

There was only one ship that looked large enough to hold all of them, as well as the astromechs once Ethan got back.

"A UT-60D U-wing starfighter support craft." Mark muttered under his breath as he examined the bulky red and white  ship that had a Wampa painted on the side.

"You really are a nerd." Sean whispered.

Before Mark could make a witty retort, green laser fire darted past them and embedded into a pillar behind them, leaving a black scorch mark.

"Guess they found us." Tyler mused, using the force to cause several clones to sleep into each other and fall unconscious.

Signe whipped out her pale blue lightsaber and deflected a shot into the ground while Amy helped Mark get out of harm's way, using her cobalt blue lightsaber to defend them.

"I guess I chose the perfect time to come back!" Ethan remarked jokingly as he used the force to push several of the clones off of the balcony.

"We have to make a break for it, there's too many of them to fight off!" Tyler yelled, narrowly managing to block a laser that was flying towards his chest.

"Where else would we go then, outside where more clones guarding the entrance could kill us?!" Signe snapped in irritation.

"Guys we have bigger problems to worry about right now!" Sean reminded them, watching as more clones marched in behind them to surround the group.

They had nowhere to go and there was too many clones to fight.

They were trapped.

Ethan cried out in pain as a laser hit his arm, but he held his lightsaber steady.

Tyler's lightsaber whirled around in a blur before he got shot in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground.

Sean did his best to block all of the shots, but wasn't fast enough to block the one that hit him in the leg that made him fall to the ground in pain.

Signe was by his side in a second, using the force to shove clones away as she helped him up.

Amy and Mark fought back to back, soon making their way to the center of the balcony.

It wasn't too much longer until all of the clones were killed, their white armored bodies littering the ground.

"C'mon, there'll be more of them showing up soon." Amy urged the group, lowering the ramp of the ship and helping Mark limp inside.

Signe had picked up Tyler and walked inside after them, followed by Ethan, then Sean and the astromechs before the ramp closed behind them.

"Anyone know how to fly a ship well?" Signe asked as she glanced around the group, setting Tyler's body down on the cot in the med bay in the back of the ship.

"I can." Mark volunteered.

"You sure?" Amy asked him skeptically.

"I'll be fine, I've had worse." Mark smirked weakly.

"No he hasn't." Sean whispered to the others.

"I'll be fine." Mark shot a glare at Sean as he sat down in the pilot's seat.

The takeoff from the balcony was silent as Signe helped tend to everyone's wounds. Tyler had it the worst, but he was still breathing and ended up waking up after he bacta was administered. Ethan's arm got grazed, so he only needed a bandage and a little bit of bacta. Signe told Sean that his leg would be sore for awhile after she wrapped it up in bandages, but that he'd be fine after awhile.

Amy sat next to Mark in the copilot seat, watching him closely to make sure that he'd be okay.

"Now here comes the fun part." Mark muttered under his breath as they approached the fleet of ARC ships that surrounded the planet.

"You got this!" Ethan cheered to encourage him as he tightly clutched a handle hanging from the ceiling to keep him standing.

Mark didn't reply as he gritted his teeth in concentration, flying his ship directly toward the starfighters.

It wasn't long until the starfighters opened fire on them.

"Everyone hold on!" Mark barked, sending the ship in a nose dive before executing a backflip and shooting down three fighters that were tailing him.

"I hate flying." Signe grumbled, her face set in a grimace as she tightly gripped a handle hanging down from the ceiling, causing her knuckles to turn white.

"You learn to get used to it." Sean shrugged to comfort her.

She didn't respond as she clutched the handle tighter.

"We're going to Yavin four to check on our friends, then we'll make a plan from there." Mark decided, typing in the coordinates while flying the ship into a barrel roll that caused two ships to collide into each other.

"How are you so good at flying?" Amy asked.

"When I was a Padawan waiting to be picked in the temple, I was certain I wouldn't be chosen, so I made a backup plan. If being a Jedi didn't work out, I wanted to be an engineer." Mark explained as he punched the hyperdrive.

The stars stretched out to long streaks of white before the ship shot off to Yavin four.
