Chapter 2- Death Wish

What do I do now?

She was lost, alone. She'd never been past the human village. It was still dark outside, about 4 am. She knew the way back to the village, although that wasn't the best course of action, her being a demi-god and all. She was in the dark forest, it was summer, so she wasn't shivering in cold. She sat and leaned against a mighty oak tree. Her purple hoodie comforted her. She opened her backpack; her mother had placed disappearing powder inside. It was placed in a jar; it was blue and shimmery. She could dust it on her wings if she ever encountered humans. Also, inside was a bow with 15 arrows, water, and a map. She packed herself a small pop-up tent. She took her crown off and put it in her pocket. She decided to sleep below the stars. She gazed at them, the Cloldish and the guards lived with them when they died; the stars were gods in the skies. The people who died lived beside them as moons, together the stars and the moons were the heavens of Exlia. Suddenly she heard a ruffle of bushes from her right. She stood up from her sitted position, there wasn't enough time to apply the powder if there were intruders; hopefully it was an animal but not a large one like a bear. There was a whisper from the bush.

"Who's there?" asked Sky her tone wasn't very treating nor was it friendly. Two figures emerged from the bush, one with shortish dark brown hair, the other with longer, lighter, brown hair and she was slightly taller. Both female and about the same age as her and bared swords, although, one feature seemed to catch her eye on both, the feature of Dragon like wings, the taller one had red ones and the slightly shorter one had Raven-like feathered dragon wings. They wore a Grey shirt and black pants fit with armor, they each wore a long, thinnish coat that went down to their feet and long sleeves and a hood. The taller one's was blue and the other purple. The taller one was the first to speak,

"Wings of Angels intruder! What are you doing on the territory of The Dragon's Hollow!" the Taller one's voice was strong and threatening. The shorter one glanced upon the taller, more commanding one.

"T, maybe you should be... More, well, less threatening? It could be a mistake of her being here." Said the shorter one.

"Cloe, well maybe you shouldn't think of them so softly since their... Well I don't know... ThReaTinG Us!" snapped 'T'. Sky thought it'd be rude to leave, if she ran it would seem more guilty then staying. Cloe continued,

"Well as Talon was saying," she said, directing to Sky, "what is even your business here? It seems like The Wings of Angels has been weird lately." Sky sturrted,

"W-well, I'm."

"Cut the crap 'Wing! Spill the beans. SpIlL ThE BeAns" snapped Talon, sword pointing at Sky.

"I'm not a Wing."

"Where did you get those wings on your back, eh?"

"Well," Sky was interrupted by Cloe,

"Well, Talon you told me about Cloldia once, remember? The kingdom of gods?"

"Why would you say that? No one believes in them anymore, nor remembers them!" snapped Talon,

"You're coming with us Wing! Cloe, please." Cloe sighed and grabbed Sky. Sky quickly punched the guard, she swung back but missed; she grabbed her sword from her side, but Sky tripped her, and she fell to the ground.

"Cloe?" called Talon, there was no response from her. Sky stood shocked, she let out a slight tear.

What did I do? She starred at Cloe's body; she had dropped her sword by her side lucky.

"I thought Wings were supposed to be the good ones, your just like The Demon Enchanters..." said Talon, her wings extended. She picked up poor Cloe a flew away. A raven flew off to follow them.

Sky stood there, she hurt a human, well she couldn't say human. But she was surprised that they knew about Cloldia. I've got to make up for it... I've got to follow them.
