Chapter 1- All Will Fall
The sun settled on the castle as night fell.
Inside the giant windows of the castle lurked a creature, staring at the sunset with bright blue eyes. A humanoid creature, at first glance she seemed human around the age of 14; but upon farther inspection, out of her back wings flowed. Her hair to her shoulders, atop her head was a crown. A light blue jewel hovered over the silver crown; she was also wearing a dress a similar color of the jewel. The sleeves were short and eventually faded, the dress was long enough that you couldn't see her legs or shoes. Hovering at the bottom of the creature's wings seemed the be small white crystals matching the color of her wings. Her wings were folded back but relaxed. The hallways were empty, they glimmered of an orangish white that seemed to be the creation of the sunset. A ruffle of steps emerged from the right side of the hallway; the creature gazed her head toward the sound. A man with a slightly darker skin tone and short brown hair came into the winged creature's presence. He wore Sliver-purple armor and bared a spear but wore no helmet, he seemed young, about 15. On the chest of the armor he bared a symbol of wings.
"Princess, your mother calls you to her room." Said the castle guard. The princess turned and made eye contact with the guard.
"Evan, you know you can call me Sky Crystal; we know each other well." Replied Sky Crystal. Evan made no argument and stood in place.
"Princess, I mean Sky... Did you 'visit' the humans again?" questioned the young guard, the princess preferred to be called Sky, Sky Crystal was too long unless formal introduction was required.
She found out again... She thought. Sky took her blonde hair and tucked it to one side.
"I hid my wings... The humans don't even believe in Cloldia anyways, its not like they'd even think I'm a Demi-god from the so called 'Kingdom of Gods'. I was safe, why does she have to make such a big deal out it anyways." Sky looked down slightly and let out a sigh, fully facing Evan; her wings dropped slightly. Evan took a step toward the princess so that he was now right infront of her but also far enough away to not pop any space bubbles.
"She loves you; she just wants you to be safe Sky."
"But I want to see the world; I want to live my life." Sky let out a small tear.
"Come with me Sky, I'll escort you to your Mom; I'll help defend you." Sky turned the other way,
"I'll go myself thank you." she started to walk away from Evan. Evan bowed his head slightly.
"As you wish, Princess." They walked their opposite ways and departed as the sun seized to shine.
"Come in." called the voice from inside the room. Sky pushed the large oak doors open as she stepped into her mother's room. It was relavliy spacious, in the center of the room there was bed king-sized bed with purple sheets and white pillows, the light bounced off the chandelier. To the left was a desk, and beside that was a walk-in closet and an eon sweet bathroom. The walls were painted a mellitic sliver, even though it wasn't sliver; and the floor was a bright white rug. Her mother sat in the chair beside the desk, looking away from her daughter. She wore a sliver dress the same length as Sky's, her crown was lager and her hair was longer; she was majestic.
"Mother," asked Sky, attempting to sound innocent, "what's wrong?". The doors slammed behind her; she jumped a bit. She caustisy came toward her mother, the queen.
"I see you have 'visited' them again... What did I tell you? Human towns are no place for us."
"Yes, I know..."
"Then why have you chosen to decive me?"
"I wanted some more books. I already finished Anne of Green Gables. I was hoping to trade some of my old books for the sequel."
"Can't you re-read your books until I send Gene to get some more?"
"It's just not the same re-reading a book. Plus, Human culture is so instreting. They have fandoms, things called phones..."
"But those are human items who knows what could happen? Books are non-lethal, unless of course it's hard cover and you hit someone in the head... But that's beside the point. How do you always seem to sneak past the guards?"
"I have my ways."
"Well it seems you just love the humans. Then why don't you go live with them yourself? I packed you a bag, add your desired extra items. We'll pick you up in a month. This will help you learn how horrid they are. How they take no care to the earth. This will make you a better queen someday. You'll walk in the Sun court, make desions. For now, you will learn and train. You know how to hunt and survive. Leave..."
"But-"
"No buts." Sky snatched up her backpack and left the room. She went to her room and gathered items. The she returned to the chamber. Or, the Chamber of Light. She entered the room. The room was too bright for humans to even bear. The Chamber, given its name, was made of light itself. She spoke the given password and poof... Out of the castle. Gone.
AN: Hope you like it so far! I'm a bad speller though.
