Lance stood at the edge of the statue and looked up at Allura. She was made of the most fine material. It was a magnificent monument. He set a bouquet of flowers at the base.

"Hey Allura." Lance smiled up at her. "I haven't visited in a while. Truth be told, I've been busy mourning you for years." He chucked. "Which I now realize was stupid, you would have wanted me to move on and be happy. But these flowers remind me of you, that's why I surround myself with them."

Lance looked down at the flowers, picking one up and putting it in his hair behind his ear. "I've been hanging out with friends more, especially Keith, who still can't find the time to cut that mullet of his." He chuckled. "But honestly I really like running my fingers through it at night and when he watch movies. His hair is so silky smooth. It's not fair."

He sat there for a moment and put his hands in his pockets before looking up at her. "I don't know why you gave me these marks on my cheek. But Keith gives me gifts too. He brings me a trinket or a story from the places he visits. My collection is huge, and I love every bit of it. These objects are all junk, but he gave them to me, so they mean a lot. Recently he gave me a gift from earth." He took out his hands from his pocket and looked at the silver ring that was on his pinky. "It was a promise... a promise both of us made."

Lance remembered after the dance at the reception they snuck out into Lance's truck and sat in the bed and stared at the stars, snuggled close together for warmth, they had made a promise with the ring Lance now wore. They made a promise to love one another.

"Everyone is moving towards the future... we all still miss you though." Lance told her. "I am grateful for all you taught me about love. It would have been awful to screw up with Keith the first time and ruin what is now so special."

He paused before looking up at her a final time as the sun set. "I'm in love again Allura." Lance told her. "I just wanted to tell you... thank you. Thank you for teaching me how to love."

"You ready?" A voice said out of nowhere.

Lance jumped and turned around to see Keith behind him. "You shouldn't sneak up on people like that. And yes, I am ready."

Keith held out his hand to Lance. Lance stared at it awkwardly for a moment.

"H-Holding hands..." Keith stuttered nervously. "Couples do that right?"

Lance chuckled and took his hand in his and pulled Keith right to his chest and embraced him with a sweet kiss on the lips.

"That was much better then holding hands." Keith smiled.

"Come on." Lance said and quickly lifted Keith over his shoulder.

"Ahhh!" Keith cries out. "Okay strong guy? Since when can you lift me up?"

"You underestimate me Keith." Lance said. "I have been training for this moment." He spun them around, Keith laughed as the wind ran through his hair.

"Sure, you train for this and not saving the universe?" Keith said as he bumped along his back as Lance started to walk.

"Hey! My high quality Keith does not deserve to walk in the mud." Lance said as he reached the end of the muddy pathway and set Keith down.

"And my high quality Lance deserves something special then for being such a gentleman." Keith said with a smile and stood on his toes to kiss Lance on the cheek.

"Now come on." Lance swept Keith odd his feet and cradled him bridal style. "I crAdled you in my Arms." He teased.

"You do remember!!" Keith snapped and hit his shoulder. "You jerk!"

"Owe." Lance acted all offended.

"Your fine." Keith said. "Don't be such a big baby..." he chuckled.

Lance smirked and dropped Keith into the valley of the juniberry flowers. He chuckled and lay down beside Keith, their heads together hit their feet laying different ways. He took Keith's hand in his and smiled as he looked into Keith's eyes.

"You need one of these mullet." Lance teased as he put a flower in Keith's hair. "There, pretty as always." He said and kissed Keith's noes.

Keith blushed and laughed, he quickly moved his body close to him and hugged him. "I love you."

"I love you." Lance said.

"No I love you." Keith said.

"No I do." Lance argued.

"Well I have a crush on you." Keith said.

"We are dating!" Lance said as he ran his fingers through Keith's hair.

"Oh right." Keith chuckled. "Nice."

"Cute..." Lance said and kissed his forehead and Keith blushed deeply.

"You two are absolutely disgusting." Pidge interrupted them. "Is Keith alright? He looks super red like he is about to pass out." she said as she noticed the blush Keith's pale skin could not contain.

"Hi Pidge." Lance teased as he sat up from the flowers. "Yeah Keith is Fine, it happens." Keith sat up too smiling happily at Lance, his blush staring to fade.

"Well, Come on. Everyone is waiting!" Pidge said.

"Alright alright." Keith said. "We are coming." He said as he stood up.

Lance stood up and put an arm around his shoulder, Keith tenses him. "Is that okay?" Lance asked.

"Yeah it's fine." Keith blushed. "I'll put my arm around you.." He said and put his arm around his back.

"Okay." Lance said with a blush. They were still awkward about the whole touching stuff. But it was a-dork-able

"I hope this isn't the type of couple you are." Pidge rolled her eyes and walked off back to the castle. Secretly she thought they were the cutest thing ever.

Keith cupped Lance's cheek in his hand. Lance quickly snuck a kiss onto Keith's hand and smiled, revealing his dimples.

"You're so cute." They said in unison, then laughed.

"The future awaits." Keith said.

"Yeah, but first we better get to dinner before Shiro comes after us himself. And it's going to be awful not standing beside you in our traditional photo." Lance said as they walked very very close to each other back to the castle.

"I'll hold you hand." Keith said. "Then tonight we can cuddle all the way home."

"I love you Keith." Lance said. "Your like... the future... my future."

"I love you too Lance." Keith smiled. "We gotta hurry! Or else Coran will ban our PDA for life!" He chuckled

"Yes let's hurry. Before you decide to cut all your soft hair off too." Lance said, taking Keith's hand in his and they ran back to the castle with him for their yearly meet up dinner.
