A/n: One night, Y/n was walking back home after hanging out with her friends late at night until she passed by a nearby alleyway and hears the sound of feint sobbing in the alley. She goes into the alley to investigate and finds Mickey crying with a rope tied around his neck and is about to kill himself by injecting himself with a syringe filled with a very dangerous drug that can instantly kill someone.

Shocked by the sight Mickey attempting to commit suicide, Y/n stopped him before he can inject the syringe and asks Mickey why he is trying to kill himself as Mickey explains everything to Y/n that his wife Minnie Mouse died in a horrific house fire. He also claims that he also claims that he has no purpose to live anymore as Minnie was his "everything" Y/n was horrified that her idol she grew up watching was about to end his life after losing the one thing that keeps him happy, his beloved wife, Minnie Mouse.

Then Y/n thought about an idea as she asks Mickey if he wants to sing a song with her to see if it will cheer him up as long as Mickey doesn't try to do anything dangerous to harm Y/n as she will do whatever she can to help her idol and tell him to never give up on hope and start his life over again.

Location: Somewhere in Downtown Creation City

Mickey has the life most people want, career success and harvest love. It's really happy...isn't it? However, life is not smooth sailing...when Mickey and his beloved wife, Minnie accidently caused a fire that made the burning of the flames add a few bright colors to the black and white world. Mickey managed to get out of the burning house safely, but Minnie wasn't able to escape her face as she met her death with the flames of their own house.

What is the price?

Well, after the death of Minnie Mouse, it took almost everything from Mickey.

His faith burned with fire...

His spirit dissipated like smoke...

He can't accept all this...

He just could not take it anymore as an unknown alloy is the only thing to vent his emotions...

A young woman named Y/n L/n, who was just walking all the way back home late at night after she hung out with her friends on such a beautiful day until she walked past a nearby alley and hears some feint sobbing in the alley.

???: (Sobbing)

Y/n: Hello? Is someone there?

Out of curiosity, Y/n goes into the ally to investigate the sobbing noise and was surprised to find Mickey crying in the alley with a rope tied around his neck and is about to kill himself with a syringe needle filled with the most dangerous drug in the world that can kill someone instantly.

Mickey: (Sobbing) I can't take it anymore....

As Mickey is about to inject the drug into his bloodstream, Y/n immediately ran over to Mickey and slapped the syringe right off his hand before he had a chance to inject it into his body.

Mickey: Why did you do that?!

Y/n: Why?! I did that stop you from killing yourself! Why are you doing this to yourself, Mickey? What happened that made you want to kill yourself?

Mickey was surprised to see Y/n willing to know what happened to him by asking him what made him want to end his own life after the death of Minnie as he begins explaining to Y/n that he once had a happy life. His wife, Minnie Mouse never cheated on him with another toon like Pete or Mortimer Mouse, his friends Donald and Goofy as well as his dog, Pluto are still alive and well, and he loved his job, working at Disney Animation Studio as he captured the hearts of millions of children and adults alike.

Until one night, when he and Minnie accidentally caused a house fire with Mickey the only one who made it out alive while Minnie burned to death in the blazing inferno. The death of his beloved wife, Minnie Mouse, caused Mickey to go into a deep state of depression that is affecting his job and ignores all of his friends and workers at the studio that tried to help him get over with Minnie's life, which led to him to go into the dark alley to inject himself with the drug that he managed to grab to commit suicide so that he can join Minnie in the afterlife.

He would succeed if Y/n didn't saw him and knocked the syringe right out of his hands.

Mickey: And that's why I no longer have a purpose in life because Minnie....she was my "everything". (Sobbing)

Shocked, Y/n was horrified that her favorite idol she grew up watching was about to end his life after Minnie died in the fire that kept Mickey happy and sane.

Then Y/n had an idea that just might work if it's good enough to calm down Mickey to tell him that it's never too late to move on and there's still hope left for him as she is going to ask him if he wants to sing a song with her to see if it might cheer him up.

Y/n: Hey, Mickey?

Mickey: Yes?

Y/n: Do you want to maybe sing a song with me? That always make me feel better whenever I get upset over something.

Mickey stood there for a few seconds before he nodded to her, agreeing with her offer as he put his hands into his shorts pockets as the two of them began to sing a duet together.

Hopefully it will be enough to help out Mickey's problems before he does something that he will regret for the rest of his life.

So then, after the first song, it was a really sad and dark song, but Y/n seems to understand why Mickey was so sad because of Minnie's death, but suddenly as Mickey began to calm down, he began to smile that looks a bit too weird as for some reason that Mickey seems to be going a bit crazy that was probably caused by not having any sleep for a least a few days as he starts off the next song, much to Y/n's concern and worry for him as she tries her best to get through the next song.

As the second song ended with Mickey screaming like a banshee, Y/n is now scared and worried for Mickey's sanity as he pulled out a large knife from his pants pocket with a wicked smile on his face as his eyes pale as a ghost as he totally lost his mind and Y/n decided to sing her own heart out while trying to dodge Mickey's knife slashes to see that he might calm down by the end of the song.

Let's hope that Y/n can survive this whole ordeal with Mickey's insanity and stop Mickey's from causing any more damage to his reputation as the face of Walt Disney himself.

As Y/n and Mickey sang together in this last song, Y/n does her best to sing through the whole song with Mickey attacking her with the knife he has in his hands. Then during the middle of the song, we see a flashback of Mickey in front of his old house that is currently up in flames as he is remembering the time that he lost Minnie in that fire that made him feel this way to this day.

Y/n then continues to sing through the whole song until Mickey fell down to the ground to his knees with the knife out of his hands as he is completely exhausted at end of the song.

After the third song has ended and Mickey is crouching on the ground on the verge of crying a puddle, Y/N walks up to him, crouches to his level, and gives him a very comforting hug with the poor, cartoon mouse hugged her back while crying over her shoulder to let out all of the negative emotions out of his system.

Y/n: (Shushes Mickey) It's alright, Mickey. You may think your life is worthless, but I don't. There's still hope for you, and I believe it's never too late to give up hope, Mickey. You're my favorite idol from childhood and I won't let anything to you as long as I'm here.

That actually made Mickey feel a lot better since Y/n told him that she will always be there for him to keep him happy and alive.

Mickey: (Sniffs) Thanks for helping me out, Y/n. I really appreciate it. I'm still sad and upset that Minnie is gone, but I think she'll be happy that I finally moved on as long as I remember her within the bottom of my heart.

Y/n: I'm glad that you say that, Mickey. Why do I take you somewhere to eat and let you stay back at my place until you get back on your feet. Does that sound okay to you?

Mickey: Sure, I could go for a bite to eat, I haven't eaten anything for the last 3 days.

Y/n: Alright, do you want me to give you a ride or do you want to just walk over to the local Steak and Shake?

Mickey: I think walking should be fine. I may feel tired and exhausted after our duet, but I can still walk until we get back to your place.

Y/n: Alright then, let's go.

And so, with Mickey all better and his broken heart repaired thanks to Y/n stepping in and helping our favorite cartoon mouse, I think this could be the start of a new beautiful, loving relationship between Y/n and Mickey Mouse as they both hold hands and walked over to the nearest Steak and Shake restaurant after that night in the alley and Minnie should be happy in heaven, now that Mickey has finally moved on and started fresh in his life as everybody's favorite cartoon mouse from the magical world of Disney.

Looks like there is still hope left in Mickey after all.
