Dawn started and the sunlight paints everything in new light. The shadows that seemed so dark in the night disappear and the people hiding and staying strong resisting these shadows are able to come out of their houses now and start their busy schedule not even being aware that they survived this night.
But the boy laying in a small street had been aware. Every night he'd survive, he asked himself for how long he could stand. And this night he gave up. The shadows did jump on him, eating him alive, leaving him alone and dead on the street.
