Ettinnette did not believe Jack for shit when he dm'd her the simple 'omw'. Her Jack would've asked to come over. Her Jack wouldn't have just shown up.

But he wasn't hers anymore and that shit crushed him.

"Here!" Urban called out throwing Jackman a bag of Chick Fil A which he didn't catch. "You look like shit" Andrew said plopping down on the couch as Jack got up rubbing his red eyes. He didn't say anything as put the food his friends got for him in the fridge, or when he quietly closed his door behind him while Urb and Dru shot each other a look.

"I'm going out" Jack said emerging out of his room making Andrew and Urban look up confused as the 6'3 man grabbed his keys. "Out where?" The two asked simultaneously as Jack looked back at them muttering a simple 'Out' as he closed the door behind him.

Jack knocked on Nette's apartment door semi-distraught with himself. One second he was just driving to clear his head and soon enough he was shooting off a dm on instagram stating he was on his way to his ex girlfriends house. Amara opened the door with Amina in her hands setting a smile on Jack when she saw him. "Hey dude" she said letting him oblivious to the fact that Ettinnette and Jackman had just recently broken up.

He returned the 'Hey' as he walked in noticing Tiana shoot daggers at him. He ignored it though looking for Kaviana who was in the kitchen. "Oh hi, Jack" she said confused as to why he was here. "Hey, Is Ettinnette home?" He asked as he felt a tap on his shoulder making him turn around. "You and you, we needa talk now" She said grabbing Jack by his T-shirt angrily leading him to a corner as Kaviana followed.

"Okay, what the fuck did you do?" Tiana asked immediately as she had dragged them into her room. "Tiana!" Kaviana said releasing Tiana's hold on Jack. "That isn't our business unless Nette tells us. Plus we don't even know what happened" Kaviana sighed as Jack nodded still recovering from almost being punked by Tiana. "Ion fucking care Kaviana. What I know is our best friend is depressed as shit right now and she refuses to talk about you or anything to anyone. So open your damn mouth Jackman" Tiana demanded as Jack smacked his teeth.

"Your acting as if I know. We was good and then she broke up with me" Jack said annoyed by this little interaction as Kaviana and Tiana's mouths dropped in pure shock. Tiana and Kaviana exchanged a perplexed glance before turning back to Jack. "She broke up with you? Just like that?" Tiana questioned, her tone a mix of disbelief and frustration.

"Mhm" Jack affirmed with a nod, rubbing the back of his neck.Kaviana folded her arms, her expression thoughtful. "Did she give you any reason?"Jack shook his head. "Not really. She just said it was for the best. That's why I came over to find out if I can fix it. Fix us."

Tiana's brows furrowed deeper. "That doesn't sound like Nette at all.Imma get to the bottom of this shit" she said marching towards Ettinnette's closed bedroom door and knocking on it as Kaviana tried holding her back to be more rational. Tiana didn't budget though as Oakley left Nette's bedroom picking up Amina who was crawling on the floor, trying to climb the couch. He nodded to Jack unable to wave as Jack returned to nod.

Fuck was he doing in her room for?

"Did you fall out of love with him? Is that what this is?" Tiana said as soon as the door was closed making Ettinnette side eye the shit out of her from where she was laying. "What're you talking about Titi?" she said laying on her side.

"Did you fall out of love with Jack? Or is it someone else?" Tiana said as Jack stayed behind just listening in the conversation'. "When did me and Jack's business become you, me and Jack's business? Stay in your place Tiana" Jack heard Nette say coldly. "You haven't left your room in a month, Ettinnette. That's when it became my fucking business" she said and Jack furrowed his brows.

"So what was it then? That's the happiest i've seen you in a while Nettie and then you just end it out of nowhere? The shit doesn't make sense" Tiana said as Kaviana whispered not quietly enough for Tiana to stop. "You think I wanted to do this shit?! I did it for him." Ettinnette says making Jackman scoff.

How?

"You think I wanted to end it with the man who sent me flowers after all of my shows with handwritten cards about how much he loved me? Or the guy who's blue eyes crinkled whenever he said I looked pretty even when I didn't feel like it? Or the man who understood that some days I just wanted to not talk so he would sit with me and just watch movies and hold my hand. The man I noticed everything about , from the way his eyes light up when talking about work or his brunette curls that smelled like my mango miele shampoo. So no I didn't fall out of love with him Tiana. I just decided he shouldn't have to deal with my shit." Ettinnette said going on a tangent as Jack's heart couldn't help but pang at how she got choked up.

"There's your answer" Tiana said exiting the room as Ettinnette sat up in confusion until her and Jackman locked eyes with one another.

"Hey" he said not breaking the eye contact as Kaviana slipped out of the room. "What're you doing here Jackman?" Nettie said quietly resisting the urge to apologize for everything and hug him. "I wanna fix us Nettie, I miss you" he said as Nette's heart shattered. "Jack-I'm sorry okay? For whatever I did. I just can't lose you Nette." he said, his voice cracking as Ettinnette's eyes stung.

"You didn't do anything Jack. I told you that" she said getting up revealing the nike pro's she was wearing. "Then why we like this right now?" he asked confused with what she was saying as he glanced down at her freezing at the dark circular scars scattered on her thighs. "What the fuck's on your thighs?" he said before she could say anything else, making her heart drop to her stomach. "Nothing" she said pulling on her shorts with her good hand.

"It's obviously not nothing if you trying to hide it" he said as she continued to panic from where she was. "How long have you been doing that?" he asked stepping towards her. "It doesn't matter," she said, wiping at her eyes, making him scoff. "It fucking matters if you've been hurting yourself!" he said raising his voice making her shush him. "Can you be any fucking louder!" she whisper shouted back at him feeling distressed.

"Listen you can't tell Malik okay? He'll be so mad so you can't tell him okay?" Ettinnette said as a now heartbroken Jack examined her tired eyes. "Ettinnette what's going on?" he asked brushing the flow of tears on her face. "You're gonna hate me" she said, tearing her face from him.

"Did you cheat?" He asked as tears still spilled from her eyes. "I don't know" she whispered after a moment of silence making him shoot her a look. "Fuck you mean 'you don't know'?" he said setting his eyes on her once again. "I don't know Jack." She repeated feeling guilty for everything.

"Just tell me what happened Ettinnette before you piss me off" Jackman said trying his hardest not to raise his voice. "Promise you won't get mad?" She asked him not daring to look at him so she didn't face what she presumed to be his disappointed face. "Just say it Nette" he said running his hands over his face.

"I got really fucked up Jack. I got really fucked up and I was about to leave when I wandered into this room. The guy who had invited me came in and I said I was about to go and he got really mad and he hurt my hand. I tried leaving but he wouldn't let go." She said as she felt tears sting her eyes and she quickly wiped them. "After he was done he just just left and I knew you would hate me if you found out so I just ended it. You didn't do anything and I didn't fall out of love with you I just knew you deserved better than me" she finished not meeting Jack's eyes out of fear and embarrassment.

The two sat in eerie silence as Jack shook with anger. "I'll fucking kill him" he muttered leaving her room and slamming her door making her chase after him. "Jack wait!" she said running after him latching on his wrist. "He fucking raped you Etti? That's why you ended it?!" he said his eyes raked with hurt as she hid her eyes in shame. "I didn't want you to be mad." she muttered quietly trying to avoid the whole conversation. "Of course, I'm mad Ettinnette. You're not the one i'm mad at though. Why would I ever be mad at you for something like that?" he asked genuinely as she blinked back tears.

"I don't know. I should've been more careful and I shouldn't have drunk so much" she said making him shake his head at what she was saying. "Don't blame yourself for that. You didn't deserve that. No one deserves that" he said cupping her face and wiping her tears. "I'm so sorry," she said finally leaning into his touch. "Don't be cus' it's not your fault." he muttered kissing his head gingerly. "I messed up everything though" she muttered as he continued to hug her. "No, you didn't, remember what I told you that one night?" he said tipping her head up.
