Ajay was sitting at the table eating her food; next to her, Grace was on the laptop. Michela was doing something, Ben was walking around. Olive was sitting at the other table; Cal was playing with the words on the fridge.

The news was on, and she paused to look at it. Someone named Kelly was talking about the plane and was killed.

' That's what your dumbass get. You can't just say anything. The world doesn't work that way '.

" Cal, bed. Go brush your teeth" Grace said suddenly. Ajay sighed and rubbed her temple.

The believers wouldn't stop, and they had been here for about 2 weeks already.

She stood up and walked after Cal, no one said anything. They were used to this.

She waited for him at the door, he was using his Batman toothbrush. Something she always loved.

They used to brush their teeth together, she had Cinderella. And they used to always joke about Batman being Cinderella's hero.

Leaning against the doorway, she peered over her shoulders to see Olive putting on her shoes and looking out the window.

After that was done, She and Cal walked into her room to see her climb over the window.

She looks at both of them and presses her hand to her lips, and whispers, " Sssshhhh."

Rolling her eyes, Ajay grabs Cal's hands walks him to his room, and tucks him in.

She leans down and kisses his forehead. " Good night, Cal, see you in the morning. "

Standing she stretches her body and moans as her bones pop in place.

" Good night, Ajania".

She froze for a minute and kept walking.

The next morning, Ajay was at the table eating her breakfast when Cal walked in and sat next to her. He seemed angry from early on after seeing Olive and his former best friend, Kevin.

She snorted at that part if only he knew the truth. Ben then starts talking.

" Hey, I found something outside from last night," he said looking at the small item.

" Oh, it was Olive. She snuck out through her window, " Cal replies, coloring his book.

Olive yells then " What is your deal!".

" Nothing, you two are just getting on my nerves," Cal says.

Ajay decided to stop it before it got out of control. She takes Cal's hand and takes him into the living room.

Once there, the two sat on the floor, and she watched as he colored.

Olive comes in a little later; she sits next to her and calls them.

" Okay, so I need to know what you broke our code, why you told Mom and Dad. "

Ajay bites her lip and looks at the ground.

" Our twin code?".

" Yes, Cal, our twin code."

" I just wanted you to be safe like Dad said."

" Really?".

" Okay, you did that so you can get back at Kevin?".

Ajay laughs silently. This reminded her of -

" He was my best friend and now you and he are - " he paused and looked at the dark-skinned girl.

Her eyes widened. So he remembers?

" Just like Ajay and I were before the plane " Cal finished.

Olive's eyes caught Ajay's as the two looked at each other and down at Cal.

" Wrong! " Olive replied suddenly knocking over his toys playfully.

" Cal, he wasn't your friend. I was and still am," she said, looking at him.

" How are we even twins anymore, look at me!".

Ajay reached over and rubbed his hair and back. She wanted him to know she was there for him.

Olive winks at her and leaves then, leaving the two of them alone.

Jasper opened the doors and looked at Ajania; she was still as beautiful as ever.

" hey,  beautiful," he cooed, opening his arms. She lets out a squeal and jumps in his arm and wraps her legs around his waist.

Behind her, Grace smiled and gave the two privacy. Once the two teens were alone.

They decide to go and sit outside. " So, how is it  since they returned?" Jasper ask.

Ajay sighed and looked ahead. " for the most part things have been great, just it gets a little overwhelming sometimes. "

Jasper hugs her " Ssh, everything will be okay".

She nodded and leaned her head against his shoulders.

" Everything will turn out alright," Ajay said, saying her motto.

The sun beamed a stray of light on both teens as they watched the neighborhood move.

Everything would be alright.
