It turns out Cal was receiving a call again, and he was happy about it. Ajania was as well, but she was still worried about some things.

Cal was coughing again, and that meant only one thing.

Cal was sick again and she did not want that.

After they left and went back home, the two went up to his room and she sat on his bed.

Cal sat down slowly and avoided eye contact with her.

Ajania reached over and grabbed his hand. “ Cal, hon tell me what's wrong? Why are you coughing?”.

For a moment, the brown-haired male looks sad but he looks in the eyes of his girlfriend.

“ I'm sick, Ajay; I don't know how. But my cancer is back, and I don't know what to do; I'm scared. I don't want to die”.

Ajania pulled her boyfriend close and kissed the top of his head.

She, too, was scared for him; she did not want to die.

She hated how cancer can always come back even after treatment.

“ It's okay; everything will be okay.”

The two just sat in silence holding each other and hoping.

13-year-old Ajay sits back on the bed and opens her arms for her girlfriend.

Olive Stone nervously rubbed her arms; she nodded and got on the bed as well.

Leaning close to her girlfriend, the two lips touch, and they kiss with passion and lust.

The Kiss was five minutes long until Olive pulled away.

“ So how do you feel? Do you like it?”Ajay ask. She knew this was Olive's first lesbian experience, and no one in her family knew about it.

“ I like it” Olive admitted. She wasn't lying. She loved Ajay for a while; it hurt her to see Cal and her always together.

“ Do you even like females?” Ajay asked; Olive shook her head.

“ No, but I love you, though,” Olive replied.

10-year old Ajay let out a scream of joy, the swing went higher and higher.

Slowly, the swing slows down, and she gets off. In the distance she sees a young boy with a clean shaved head.

The young boy looked at her and smiled. He begins to walk over to her; her heart beats fast in her chest.

Once he was in front of her, she held out her hand. “ Hey, I am Ajania but I prefer Ajay. It's nice to meet you”.

The young boy smiled. “ Hey, my name is Calvin but I prefer Cal. It's nice to meet you” Cal says.

Ajay smiled at him. “ Would you like to go on the slide together? ” She asked.

Together, the two run to the playground. While their parents and mother watch them with smiles on their faces.

And that was the start of friendship and bonds.

“ Would you like to be mine? ” Cal asked, they were on their way to school.

Ajay nodded and grabbed his hand. “ Of course”.

“ So what now?”She says. Cal looked at her and couldn't help but blush that spread across his cheeks.

It was too bad he wouldn't be there to make sure she smiled more.
