Chapter 7
Paya lead Zelda through the Rebel base. "Soooo, everyone here is fighting against Ganondorf?" Zelda asked
"No... Some just hide here to avoid the cops..." Paya replied "I'm Paya by the way. Lady Impa is my Grandmother."
"It's nice to meet you."
"Did... Did you really meet the Hero of Legend?"
"Yeah... He was... A lot more civilized then most guys..." A ding was heard from Zelda's pocket. She pulled out her phone. "My parents..." She mumbled "I need to take this..." She stepped away and answered the call. "Hello?"
"Why do we pay over twenty thousand rupees a year if you won't even go to class?" Her Mother's voice rang through the phone
"I swear I didn't mean to miss Mom. I got a little caught up with something and lost track of time."
"Fine. You're off the hook. This time."
"Understood Mom... See you next week."
"See you next week."
Zelda hung up and sighed "I didn't mean to miss..."

Link walked through the gardens of Hyrule Castle. No weapons on hand, no shield either, a smile on his face. He held a rolled up blanket under one arm, and a basket of food in the other hand. Eventually he reached a clearing surrounded by flowers and trees. In the center of the clearing there stood an old table, and two stone benches, as well as a shed at the edge of the clearing. He laid the blanket across the table and set out the food. Soon he walked over to the shed and grabbed two seat cushions. "There, now I just need to wait for Zelda." He smiled at his hard word, as he pulled a small flower out of the basket, a Silent Princess, Zelda's favorite flower.
"Link! There you are." Zelda called as she entered the clearing "Wow,did you make all of this?"
"I had a little time on my hands..."
"A little? Link there's an entire buffet here!"
"There's not that much..."
Zelda laughed as sat on a bench. Link smiled and sat as well. "When did you have time to cook so much?"
"Some other knights offered to take my shift, claiming that they 'Wanted to see us fall in love.'"
Zelda laughed "I'm not surprised. People can be silly sometimes."

Link stood looking at the crowd around him. They stared at him for a minute. Two minutes. Then they began to cheer. Yelling happily about the end of Ganondorf's reign. He looked around, bright flashes from cameras lit up in his face. He blinked, trying to get rid of the dots that were now flying across his vision. "Please stop..." he quietly mumbled

Zelda followed Paya to a large room, in which several people sat watching the news. "Paya! Paya!" A small girl exclaimed "The crystals shattered! The Last Link is free!"
"He might not be for long, people are blinding him with cameras." A rito muttered as he rolled his eyes, followed by another mumble that sounded like "Asinine people."
———
Ghirahim walked through the crowd of people surrounding Link "Well, Ganondorf won't be happy about this." Link stood up slowly. The crowd stopped taking pictures as the green clad hero looked around, his eyes widened when he saw Ghirahim. "Someone remembers me." He grinned
Link looked around, and spotted it, the master sword, on the ground two feet or so away. He snatched it off the ground and got ready to fight.
