I love Song Oneshots for some reason... anyway, here we go! Based on the song Still In Love by Jason Chen

~Rainbow Steve's POV~

A while back, right before Blue Steve got destroyed, he admitted to something. He admitted to liking me.  I didn't say anything, because it was right before I ended up absorbing him.

I bite my lip from thinking back on that memory, even though it was so many years ago. Well over seven generations at the least; but now that I'm in the Spirit Realm, maybe I can find him again. Maybe I can find him, tell him I love him too, and that after all these years I'm still in love with him...

I break out into a run with a smile plastered on my face as I continue to think of all of all the possibilities of how it could go. All of them give me more and more motivation to find Blue Steve and tell him; but then I get some that make my run slow down.

What if... what if he doesn't feel that way anymore..? I think silently, biting my lip. More and more different negative outcomes start forming in my mind, and I end up stopping my run completely from it.

I shutter from the thought of any of them coming true, and I bite my lip. No, don't think like that, Rainbow Steve, I say silently to myself. You'll never know what will happen until you tell him yourself...

I continue my journey in search for Blue Steve, and after two long hours; I finally see a blue figure in the distance. I break out into another run, and as soon as they turn around and notice me. They smile, a dorky, toothy smile that I love.

"Blue Steve!" I shout, giggling as I get to him, hugging him tightly. Blue Steve hugs back, smiling softly.

"Miss me?" he asks playfully, and I playfully slap his arm.

"Shut up," I huff. "Of course I did..." I say quietly. He smiles softly, playing with my hair. I blush softly from his action.

"Oh really now?" he asks with a grin.

"Mhm! Y-You're my best friend!" I say, the words tugging at my heart. His smile drops a little, and I bite my lip. "I have something to tell you..." I say quietly, and he looks down at me.

"What's up?" he asks, pulling away from the hug.

I inhale, getting the courage built up to say it. "I feel the same way.." I say simply, and he looks at me confused. I don't build on that; not yet anyway.

"Promised you'd never leave me alone..." I mutter softly.  "The castles that we made, were swept by the tide and washed away, and now the sunsets have all gone..." he looks down, biting his lip.

"Now time is moving, faster than before... and we can't even seem to find the shore..." I whisper softly.

"What are you even talking about..?" he whispers softly, his smile completely gone.

"Cause baby I know that you still love me," I say, blushing from calling him "baby". He seems stunned for a moment, biting his lip. He nods slowly, and I sigh in relief. He does!!

"And baby know that I love you too," I hum, and his eyes widen.

"Y-You do..?" he whispers, blushing. I blush as well, nodding.

"So tell me why can't we make it better? 'Cause all that I know is found in you..." I whisper quietly, and he pulls me into a hug.

"We can make it better..." he says with quietly, before he kisses me softly.

"All of our past, don't let it erase..." I say as I pull away from the kiss, blushing brightly.

"I won't," he says with a smile. "In fact, I want my future to be with you too..." he whispers with a sincere smile.

I blush, biting my lip. I smile back and him, and he kisses me once again.

I know I said that I would update any book at least twice a day for a week but I failed to do that yesterday so ;-;
