-------------------------------------------

It was a hot, heavy sunday on the track in Melbourne. The national anthem had just finished and now the racers were getting ready. Milan was currently standing next to his car and finished putting on his headphones, the balaclava and finally the helmet. This was his fourth race for McLaren and he was starting from P1, which he was quite proud of. He had invested so much the day before in qualifying and had managed to be faster than both Aston Martin drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Freyja Räikkönen.
He wanted to win this race, mostly because Freyja had already won one this season and he obviously did not want to stay behind on this. His and Freyja's rivalry was going way back to when they were very young but that was a long story for another day.

Once Milan was done, he climbed into the car and leaned back. To be honest, he felt a bit nervous. He didn't want to mess this up because that would just be embarrassing and he could risk having people laugh about him. He looked at the lights above him and took a deep breath. This would be fine. He got this, he just needed to focus. Become one with car or something.

"It's lights out and away we go!"

That was the signal that Milan was waiting for. He stepped on the gas and started driving. The first few turns were easy and he was keeping the dark green cars behind him with no problem at all. They were close, but it seemed like he was just a little bit faster.

And then it happened. He saw a darkgreen car in his rearview mirror trying to go pass him in one of the trickier turns. Milan being Milan, he obviously did not want to let that happen and kept his path, which in hindsight was a bad idea.
The next turn didn't have enough space for two cars and before he could even react, his car was hit into the side by the wheel of the other racer with quite great force. Milan lost control over the car, it started tipping to one side and somehow flipped over. The metal screetched as it scratched over the asphalt of track, sparks flying everywhere.

In this moment, Milan almost thought that this would be his end. It was loud, it was scary and it was overwhelming. After something that felt like eternity but could only have been a few seconds, his car was stopped by a wall on the border of the track. The force of the hit made him see stars for a second. Then, afterwards he slowly opened his eyes and looked around. The first thing he noticed was that the world seemed to be upside down. Huh. Weird, how did that happen? He moved his arms and legs slightly to see if everything was alright. "Milan, are you okay?" The voice on his car radio brought him back to reality. His former fear turned into anger and he couldn't help but to hit the steering wheel. "Mein Gott, muss das sein?!"he cursed and then tried to find a way out of the basically upside down laying car.

After somehow squeezing through an opening, Milan stood up. It felt like the whole audience was silent and then seemed to breath again after it looked like he was okay. "Don't touch me, im fine" He pushed someone who was trying to help him away and took off his helmet before turning around to look at absolute wrecked car. In his anger, he just kicked the wheel once and then stomped over to his team garage. Stupid cars. Stupid race. Stupid...everything!

The looks of sympathy that people gave him did nothing to calm him down, they made him only angrier. He sat down somewhere, just wanting to sulk in self pity. This was purely the fault of the other driver. Now thinking about it, it could only have been Räikkönen. Yeah, she probably even did that on purpose! As Milan sat there with his arms crossed and a look on his face that promised murder, he felt someone touching his shoulder.

"Milan?"
