"You're Such A Big Sister"
Rayne's POV (This is a filler chapter)
Michael, Camille, and I sat in the studio watching Michael record one of his tracks called "The Lost Children." Camille clapped along quietly, she's been in the studio with Michael so many times she knows when to be quiet and when she can talk, but it was so difficult to get Michael to quiet down so Mike could start recording.
Even if he was quiet, he would be crashing his toys together and that would disrupt to the background noise for the music. I giggle at how Camille would attempt to quiet Mikey down while being loud herself.
"Guys I really need to lay down this track.. and I can hear you in my headphones.. you have to be quiet." Michael sighs irritably.
"Sorry daddy.. I'm trying to stop Mikey.." Camille says placing her hand over Mike's mouth.
I chuckle again grabbing Michael from the floor and placing him on my lap, "I'll keep him quiet." I whisper.
"I'm hungry" Michael whines right before his father starts to sing again causing him to huff quietly and place his hands on his hips.
"The quicker I can do this the quicker we can grab something to eat Michael." He replies. He steps out the booth motioning Camille and Michael to follow him back inside. I frown to see what he was doing. "I've got an idea, go to the end of the track." He instructed the engineer.
He places Mikey on his lap and let's Camille stand in between his legs, "read this." He tells Camille, pointing at the sheet in front of him. She shyly reads the small line, causing me to silently giggle.
"Daddy what's this word?" She points to the sheet.
"Chrysanthemums.. don't worry. You don't have to read that line." He explains. I loved seeing Michael as a father, explaining big words to Camille, laughing at Mikey's inexplicable noises.
After a few minutes, Michael and the kids emerge from behind the booth door, greeting me with a smile. "I think that's as far as I'll get on this track until you get back from Detroit."
"What'd you just do?" I ask, feeling Mikey's little fingers grip around mine.
"Recorded them for the ending of my song. Why not put the kids in."
"Are we in gonna be on your new song Daddy?" Camille gleamed up.
"Yes princess!" He smiles back down to her.
***
We stopped at the closest McDonald's and headed home, passing a few homeless people on the route.
"Daddy, why are there people sleeping on the street? It's cold out there." Camille asked, pressing her nose against the tinted glass.
"Well, they don't have a place to sleep.. Wayne stop the car please." Michael instructs, he pulls out his wallet and pulls out a $100 bill, pushing it out the small crack in the window.
"What's he doing?" Camille asked.
"He's giving the homeless lady money... maybe it'll help her grab some food." I explain.
"When I get older I wanna help homeless people." Camille says, settling back in her seat.
"You can. Always help people, it's the right thing to do." Michael instructs.

Once the kids are settled in bed, Michael stays up to help me pack for my trip for Detroit tomorrow. Whatever he claims as helping me pack, seeing as he's in the bathroom freaking out about why he can't find his other bottle of shaving cream.
"Michael since you're in there, can you hand me my toothbrush please?" I ask, putting my hand behind me.
I feel his arms wrap around me, closing me into his arms with his chin resting on my shoulder. I laugh turning to face him, "give me my toothbrush." He holds it high up where I can't reach it. "Come on mike, that's not funny." I frown.
"You're so cute when you're pouty." He chuckles.
"Come on Michael..." I sigh, holding back my smirk.
"You've gotta work for it." He says.
He knows he's at least a foot taller than I am and I have no chance of reaching his fingers by simply jumping. I jump once more only to be met with his lips with a quick kiss.
I roll my eyes, clipping my leg behind him to make him fall back on the bed, snatching my toothbrush out his hands and stuffing it in my suitcase.
"Got everything you need?" He asked giggling.
"Yeah everything but my nerves..it's always nerve wracking to go back home to visit mom, but this time in introducing my sister to this person she truly doesn't know.. it's scary." I sigh.
Michael grips my fingers tightly, "I'm proud of you." He says pulling me towards his lips. "You're doing something I refuse to do. I'm really in awe of how quickly you accepted Alonna."
I grin sitting on his knee, "does that give you some inspiration?"
"Not at all." He smiles, "but I'm proud of you Ray. Your dad would be proud too."
I sigh, I missed my dad more than anything. "Hmm. I wonder what my dad would say in this situation. I wonder how I'd handle this with him here.."
Michael left that subject alone, he didn't try to explain how he thought my father would feel. He was probably afraid how I'd react.
"I'm gonna go to bed, my flight leaves at 10." I sigh, taking off my clothing.
"You're gonna be gone all week, I'm gonna miss you." Michael says his eyes undressing me faster than my own hands could. He stands in front of me, his arms slowly caressed my bare shoulders.
"I'm gonna miss you too baby, I always do." I grin.
"Show me how much." He says tugging his lip in his mouth.
I sit him back on the bed and begin teasing him slowly shimmying out of my jeans and letting down my freshly blown out hair which fell almost in the middle of my back now. I give a flirtatious smirk over my shoulder and remove my bra slowly.
I stood in front of him with nothing but my laced blue underwear that popped against my caramel toned hips.
"How did I get so lucky?" He asks leaning me back onto the bed.
"I ask the same question." I smile back, before he pressed his lips on mine, lifting my thigh around his hip. Suddenly we were interrupted by my cellphones ringtone.
"Ignore it." Michael muffles, I agree wrapping my arms around his neck. The thing about my cellphone is that it takes a long time to stop ringing and it's annoying as hell.
I give up and grab it irritably, "hello?" I groan. Michael continued kissing down my stomach, tracing my underwear with his fingers.
I hear sniffling on the other line. "Rayne... is it a bad time?" Alonna sniffles. I sit up quickly, annoyed she interesting Michael and I.
Michael looks at me with frustration before I mouth "it's my sister"
"No Alonna..it's fine, what's wrong?"
"I don't know... it may just be my nerves, but I'm scared as hell to go to Detroit tomorrow. I mean, how am I gonna react? I'm really nervous."
I sigh, "Alonna, there's nothing to be nervous - listen, I know it's overwhelming to see your mother's grave after never meeting her, but that's why I'll be there. Everything will be fine. I promise."
"I hope I didn't wake you up, I just had to talk to you about it.."
"No, no you didn't wake me.." I groan. "I'll see you tomorrow morning."I say hanging up swiftly.
Michael chuckles, "you are such a big sister, hanging up for some quick pleasure." He shakes his head.
"Listen, I'm sitting here in nothing but my drawers.. so shush and get back to what we were on our way to do." I chuckle as he pressed his lips against my chest.
Next chapter will be based on a Rayne and Alonna's trip to Detroit and some crazy stuff will be happening so stay tuned.
