Stubborn Butt Part 15

The scenes change and there you find yourself beginning to worry over Zoro as he clinches his chest in the middle of the fight to save Camie's friend.

He hasn't fully recovered...

You where worried, overwhelmingly worried. Sanji even seemed to notice and quickly chewed him out. He went to fight where he wasn't recovered. It was your turn to watch over him yet you let him go and fight. Instantly you felt the blame for the situation, there was no possible way he was recovered in such a short time that should have been obvious.

Without a second moments notice a splash of water sounded, you went swimming towards him in a moments notice. The fact of hardly any attacking or defense skills didn't even phase as you took to your instincts.

Nami shouted from behind "What are you doing (Y/N), are you crazy!?" It never even phased you, the words she said meant nothing in that moment of time. Regardless of him being almost a 10 times stronger then you in that state, that didn't matter. Nor did the obvious fact of you being in charge of watching Zoro, even if you had told him to stay back it's doubtful he would listen.

Brook landed next to him, Hachi the friend of Camie was there too, he was fine... They did notice as well, fully aware of what was going on with him, or at least Brook knew that he hadn't healed. They would surely try to help the stubborn swordsman but, that's just the issue. Zoro contained a massive stubborn side, they are his crew they surely they would try to help at the very least. Yet you still couldn't shake the feeling that you had to go after him.

You swam there and got there, there was no cool to be kept, overreaction and freaking out just happened. Something built up inside of you although only a little bit actually showed through.

"Z-Zoro! Are you okay?!" You, in a panicking state of mind, raised your voice level on accident. You began to shake and freak out, more so with your body then your voice.

He carried a sort of ticked off look after hearing that, some pride thing or something. Either he's an open book or a locked safe. Either or you can still get into both physically and metaphorically speaking.

Seeing how he acted simply towards that, you press no further unwilling to see his wrath.

You saw Hachi move quickly, someone was trying to attack Zoro as he was down. It seems even Zoro didn't realise he was going after his head. A sure fire way of saying Zoro isn't quite himself, if someone so much as stared at the green haired man while he's asleep he'd wake up in defensive mode with his hand clutched on the handle of a sword.

Within maybe a minute, it wasn't very long after so saying a minute suffices enough, he was back to fighting. He said he wasn't going to sit idly by and not fight, which made you get a weird mixture of feeling shocked, not shocked, and generally worried. No matter how tough someone is, if they where just kneeling over clenching their chest with hitched deep breathes and a painful expression plastered on their face, obviously that person should not be up and fighting so soon. You didn't want to hold him back, you know there wasn't any way you could.

Simply all there was to think to do was to clench onto Zoro's sleeve, with two fingers and hesitantly in a quiet voice say "P-Please.... After this is over... See Chopper again."

He made no response, no attempt to either, as he simply walked to his captain and finish the matters he already had, in the process you reluctantly let go of his sleep as he walked. This making you feel as if some kind of reality hit you upside the head. This once not too long ago stranger, had all of your worry and fear once again, the time before being the incident in Thriller bark.

Thriller bark. It was the kind of place were fear should have been all around you; foggy mist, the undead roaming around, a castle that was basically haunted, and oh so more yet, fear was placed upon the man that couldn't quite give up on death despite looking as if he'd already bled out. This man being one who is a crew member aboard the captain who save your life, the one you joined out of respect and not a yearning. It was by chance that you would grow to like the crew members and life aboard the ship. The chances were ever so in your favour to uphold this sort of 'pride.'

Some things in society have no true ranking, whether you follow by a ranking system or throw it out the roof entirely. Things that can't be ranked are things such as strength, attractiveness, fashionable, and even intelligence. These things can generally be accepted upon in a group of people but, outside that group, opinions differ dramatically. It can give hope to some that to one person or another you may be the worst but, to another and possibly someone you've never met before, you can achieve the best in their book. Yet it all comes down to whether you can truly believe this or not.
