The next few days, Tai had went to Sora's home and asked her about her 2yr old son and fortunately it turns out to be someone else's child. Tai was relief but was also sadden on how to approach Candy to talk to her. Tai let out a sigh as he walked down the city street taking a stroll and soon he found himself at the park. He decided to sit at a bench next to where an old man was sitting and feeding pigeons.

"Its a beautiful day huh?"

The old man ask looking at Tai with a smile. Tai looked towards the old man breaking away from his thoughts and smiled as he looked around the park.

"Hmm oh yeah beautiful"

"You know a day like this reminds me of my good old days"

Tai just sat there as he listen to the old man talks about his past.

"But their did come a time when I almost lost everything. Back in high school I used to be the school's player, girls will just throw themselves at me and do everything for me and I was enjoying it feeling like I was the king of the world."

Tai frown at the similarity he has with the stranger but continued to listen to find out where this leads.

"It was all fun and games until I met a new girl from another state. I thought I could get her to fall in love with me but apparently it was the other way around. I fell in love with her, I didn't know love and so it was kind of hard for me to treat her with love because all I did was hurt her and be breaking my promises to her"

"What did you do?"

"As I got older I realized she was the only one that can fully understand me but she was tired of me, she bever wanted to speak to me. I did everything I could just for she could hear me speak. I then realized I had no future without her, it took time and effort for we can work it out and move on from the past. I had almost lost her but she finally open her eyes and realize that even after everything there is no escape from love. She was in denial. We have a little boy."

Tai smiled at the old man because it was similiar to what he was going through with Candy.

"So you see son, all it takes is time and effort. Don't let go, hold on to the ones you love, no matter how hard or stubborn they maybe because they are worth it"

He said as he placed a hand on Tai's shoulder. Tai gasp as he saw something flash before his eyes. He saw himself sitting at the park with Candy laughing and talking by his side a little boy ran up to him and Candy calling them mommy and daddy. Tai took a gasp of air panting from what he just saw.

'No way was that a glimpse of my future with Candy'

He thought and then gently smiled as realize what he needs to do, he stood up walking away but stopped to look back at the old man.

"Thanks Mr I...."

He said trailing off as he didn't see the old man at the bench anymore. Tai looked around with a frown.

'The old guy couldn't move that fast?"

He thought but then shrugged it off as he headed to Candy's restaurant. Tai letted himself inside the restaurant, it was empty because it wasn't suppose to be open until dinner time and all the staff were cleaning and making sure everything was in tip top shape. One staff notice Tai.

"Um Sir you can't be in here, we are still closed..."

"Where is Candy?"

Tai said cutting the staff off.

"She's in the back, but she is to not be disturb"

"Bring her out"

"Sir"

For Tai to prove his point he grabbed a chair and threw across the room making it crash to another table. Everyone stopped what they were doing and froze.

"Bring Candy out now"

He said sternly but nobody moved. Tai grabbed a glass cup and knocked it down to ground causing it to shatter.

"I hope you're going to pay for that"

Said a voice. Tai looked straight ahead and smiled.

"I need to talk to you"

"That was a very expensive glass and your destroying my furniture"

"I'll pay for it but first let's talk"

Candy glared at him with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Follow me"

She said and Tai immediately followed. Once they were inside the office, Candy closed the door to have a private conversation. She leaned against her desk looking at him with burning eyes of hate.

"Start talking because you are disturbing a working environment and I have a lot of things to do"

She said crossing her arms over chest. Tai sadly cast his eyes down.

"I just..."

Tai began but Candy cut him.

"You know what I shouldn't even let you be talking to me right now or listen to you. I could call the cops just like how you always threaten me with a while back. So many times I gave you a chance and you blew it. I have taken all your crap from all of high school for a long time, tell me why should I waste my time for a man who doesn't even respect, for a man who doesn't appreciate me, for a man who's barely even a man at all. You brought this upon yourself and now you are paying the consequences."

Tai remained quiet as he just listen to Candy's words. He looked up at her sadly amd walked towards the door. Candy smirk when she thought she finally got through to him but was surprise when he locked the door and turn back around to face Candy with a determine look.
