"I know I'm the last person you ever want to see right now..."

Tai began to say but Candy cut him off.

"Oh please don't give me none of your lame excuses.."

Tai had cut her off.

"...but please hear me out. I put away my childish things away. I know my words and actions aren't good enough and I gave you no reason for to trust me, because I was constantly hurting you. The last words I told you 2yrs ago haunts me, replaying in back of my mind and I wish I could take it all back. The truth is, I'm not capable to love back then but now I can and you were the only one who stayed in my mind. Candy, I love you."

Candy was actually speechless, she cleared uo her throat and looked away from Tai.

"Well that's a very grown thing to say, but what about Sora and your child?"

"About that I went to talk to her after you told me the news"

"And?"

She asked with a raised eye brow looking at him

"He's not mine"

Tai said with a slight smile. Candy let out a sigh with a small relief.

"Look Tai, I'm working right now but here"

She said as she turned around to get a small piece of paper and pen and wrote down her information. She handed him the paper of her address.

"You can come to my house if you still want to talk. I'm not saying I want to be with you again but I am willing to give you another shot. I get off at 9:30pm"

Tai smiled and nodded.

"Thank you. I'll see you tonight"

He said as he unlocked the door and stepped out but before he closed it he gave her a sheepish smile.

"I'll give you a check for to repair the damages"

Candy smirked at him.

"Get out of here"

Tai chuckled before closing the door.

*At Candy's House*

Tai arrived at Candy's home around 10pm and knocked on the door. After a few seconds, Candy opened the door with a slight smile.

"Sorry I'm late"

Tai said with a nervous look.

"Come on in"

She said as she open the door wide for him. Tai looked around.

"Wow this place looks nice. Is it better than the apartment?"

He asked with a smile as he followed Candy to the kicthen as he sat on the booth. Candy shrugged.

"It feels the same lonely. Want some wine?"

"Sure"

Tai said with a nod. As he turn around he notice some picture frames on top of a shelf. Tai stood up to get a closer look, he smiled as he saw a young man and a women holding a baby girl.

'These must be her parents'

He thought as he set the frame down. His eyes then caught a frame that looked very familiar to him. He looked at it closer and his eyes open wide. It was the same old man wearing the same clothes on the picture feeding the pigeons.

"Hey"

Candy said walking up to him carrying two glass cups with red wine. Tai looked at Candy as he grabbed his cup.

"I know this guy"

He said showing the frame. Candy frown and looked at the picture.

"From where?"

Tai smiled at her.

"It was the same old guy who was talking to me at the park a couple of days ago, he was feeding the pigeons like here on the picture. He was telling his stories of how he got with his wife. He gave me a lot to think about and that's what gave me the courage to talk to you"

"That's impossible Tai, that was my great grandfather he passed away years ago when I was a little girl"

"That can't be. I'm sure he was solid just like you and me"

Candy shrugged with a smile.

"Maybe he was watching over us"

"Yeah maybe but the weird thing is that he touched me on the shoulder and I felt his hand but I saw a vision."

Candy frown and went to sit on her couch, Tai followed and sat down beside her.

"What did you see?"

"I saw you and me at the park and a little boy running towards us in which I'm guessing is our son because he called us mommy and daddy"

Candy was surprise.

"Wow that sure is something"

She said amazed.

"What do you know about him?"

He asked as he handed her the frame as he took a sip from his glass. Candy looked at the picture and smiled.

"I only heard stories about him. He was always a bright person"

"Is his stories anything like my life?"

Candy looked up at Tai.

"How do you know?"

"Because he told me. He told me how he was also a player but then came across this new student from another state and tried to make her fall in love with him but instead he fell in love with her but she kept pushing him away because of so many times he hurt her"

Candy shook her head.

"No you're making this all up"

"Candy think about it why would I know something about your grandfather that i never met and that you never told me about. He likes spending his time in the afternoon feeding pigeons and he said that everyday its a..."

"...Beautiful day"

Candy finished. Tai looked at Candy.

"So now do you believe me?"

Candy slightly smiled.

"Yeah. Yeah I do believe you"

She said as she looked to him with a brighter smile. Tai smiled as he turned away.

"So how you been? You made your way to the top huh?"

"Yeah. It took time but I'm finally a manager and plus I have an interview for I could sign up for to be a supervisor and then finally be an owner to my own restaurant"

"That's great. I'll support you all the way and besides I'm in college right now so you kind of beat me"

He said with a chuckled as he looked at her.

"What do you want to be?"

"I want a career on UN"

"Amazing"
