For the last few days, Tai has been acting more weirder than usual. He would treat Candy kind of rude and she didn't understand why. Every time when its lunch time, he would drag her away from where ever she wanted to go. They were currently in class doing whatever they want because they had a substitute.

"Did you just cut my hair?"

"It was on my desk"

"Seriously that's your excuse?"

"Lesson learned right"

The class was starting to get use to Tai and Candy's bickering its like if they were an old marry couple but it was fun to watch them. The school bell ring signaling the students it was time to go home.

"I want you to stop talking to Matt"

Tai said out of the blue. Candy was at her locker putting her stuff away with Tai keeping her company. She looked at him in surprise and smirk looking at Tai who had his arms crossed over his chest, leaning his back against the lockers.

"Why are you jealous?"

"Pff please, but their is a boundary on who we sleep with, we can't use the person they already used"

"Meaning a property?"

"Yeah like that"

"I haven't even slept with Matt"

Tai looked at her with a glare.

"Does that mean you're planning to?"

"Of course not, why would I make the same mistake twice"

Tai smirk at her.

"Besides how is Matt a player? He's with Sora"

"Reputation my dear Candy"

"I'm not your property Kamiya"

"Sweetheart I thought we been over this already, I took your body so that give you the right to call me by my first name"

"No you took advantage, there's a big difference"

"I'm serious babe"

Candy glared at him.

"You can't tell me what to do just like I can't tell you to stop sleeping around"

She said walking away. Tai glared at the ground.

*Next Day*

Tai was walking up the stairs and froze at what he saw. He saw Candy and Matt talking. Matt said something to Candy that made her laugh and blush. Tai frown at them but decided to stay hidden from their view. What he saw next gave him a sting to his heart and he didn't know why as he saw Candy wrapping her arms around Matt's neck and Matt wrapped his arms around her waist as they hugged for a good while. They pulled apart as they went their separate ways. Tai saw Candy coming his way and jumped out of hiding surprising Candy and grabbed hold of her arm.

"What are you doing?"

She asked.

"You shouldn't be hanging out with him"

"Well maybe I like him"

"Don't play games with me"

"Who says I'm playing"

"He's a player Candy don't you understand that he could hurt you"

He said and froze as he thought about what he said and then look to Candy who looked at him in confusion.

"How is that different from you"

"I'm just saying old habits die hard"

Candy shook her head as she pulled her arm away from him leaving Tai alone in his thoughts.

'Why am I so worked up over this? Candy doesn't mean anything to me, sure she is feisty, has a good body and her attitude but why do I care if someone else hurts her or use her? Could I possibly got my ownself attached to Candy? Could I really like her?'

He thought. Just then he saw Matt walking towards him.

"Hey Tai"

He said with a smile but was surprise when he was slammed against the lockers and got punched a couple of times on his face by Tai who was enraged.

"What the hell are you doing man?"

Matt yelled in pain. Tai pulled away panting as he saw what he done, his hands were shaking and he felt a headache coming on. He turn his attention to his best friend was getting up.

"I want you to stay away from Candy"

"Is that what this is about?"

"Stay away from her"

"Okay okay"

Matt said lifting both his hands in surrender as Tai send him a hated glare before walking away. The school bell ring letting the students know ro get back to class. Candy was surprise to see Tai in class first but then again why shouldn't he after news been spread that Tai beat up Matt. She made her way in front of him.

"Okay now talk"

"About what?"

He asked turning his attention away from the window and towards Candy.

"You beat up Matt, is this like a warning to me for to stop hanging out with him"

"If I say yes would stop hanging out with him?"

"Kamiya I already told you, if I told you to stop...."

"I stopped sleeping around weeks ago"

He stated quickly. Candy looked at him in surprise, Tai smiled gently as he notice her face expression.

"Really?"

She asked. Tai nodded.

"Yeah for some reason I couldn't no longer perform anymore and I tried but I just gave up"

"Are you sure its not a dsyfunction....."

"I'm sure. I guess it wasn't a turn on anymore and many cheerleaders were disappointed..."

"Stand up"

She said cutting Tai off. Tai raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What?"

"Stand up"

She said closing her eyes. Tai obeyed and stood up.

"Please don't make me regret this"

She said. Tai was confused and was soon surprise when Candy wrapped her arms around his neck. Tai was surprise and felt his heart got warm as he was engulf in a hug from Candy. Tai wrapped his arms around her bringing her close as he hugged her in return.

'This actually feels amazing and its only just a hug. Maybe if I could get my act together then maybe something could possibly happen between me and Candy but that's only of she wants to as well'

He thought with a smile. Candy then pulled back and cleared up her throat and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Congrats"

She said with a smile as she sat on her seat.
