Welcome, one and all, to my first award book, "All-Star Awards"! For those of you who don't already know me, I'm Sunset, your friendly storyteller, poet, and bookworm known for my detailed imagery, torturous cliffhangers, relatable OCs, and wholesome platonic & romantic character dynamics.

As you might imagine, this is going to be one of my more involved projects. As always, I ask for your patience with me and for you to respect that this isn't my only in-progress book right now; not by a long shot.

I've been thinking about making an award book for a long time now, and as I'm writing this, I believe I have a fair bit of writing experience under my belt, and an amazing number of confidants to turn to if I need help at any point during this adventure. And, on top of that, I want to give my fellow writers the chance to be recognized, whether your books are hidden gems or already well-known.

I want everyone to remember that none of the decisions that I make, the ways I'll judge your books, etc. are meant to hurt anyone's feelings. All critiques I give are meant to help you, and none of them will be disrespectfully written.

The next two chapters will highlight the rules of this book and what I'll be judging your books on, respectively. It's important that you read every chapter carefully–no rushing–in order for this to be a fair & fun adventure for all of us.

Coming up is the chapter that will detail my rules, regulations, and friendly reminders concerning this book & everyone's behavior expectations. 

At the end of every chapter, there will be marked spaces for any additional questions and/or concerns you have for me. I will answer every respectfully phrased question & concern to the best of my ability, as always.
