A/N: As I mentioned in the last chapter, it's important for you to take your time and read every chapter, just like you would with any of my other works. They are books that I pour my heart, mind, and soul into; not races to be won.

Rules, Regulations, & Reminders

~No inappropriate adult language, derogatory terms, or slurs of any kind are welcome.

~Bullying, flattery/bribery, condescending tones, self-deprecating remarks, or other disrespectful actions toward me, yourselves, or each other are not allowed.

~One of the upcoming chapters has two lists of the payments–mandatory and optional– you'll have to complete. They will be clearly marked, and if there is any confusion, just ask and I will answer when I can.

~One of the biggest rules of my page; do not spam-vote on any of my books. {Spam-voting: Voting on multiple chapters of any of my books with little to no comments in between.}

~I always appreciate sweet & genuine interactions–votes, comments, messages, etc.–but if I have to choose between only getting comments or only getting votes from you, I choose comments, hands down.

~As always, leave a bookmarking comment if you need to, so you don't lose your spot; I never want anyone to feel obligated to read more chapters in one sitting than they are comfortable with.

~I'm one person; I am the only writer of this book and my other works, and the only judge for this award contest.

~Do not pester me; I have a life offline and other projects to work on, as I'm sure most of you can relate to. All questions, entries, and other comments/messages will be replied to when I get the chance to sit down & read them.

~If you break a rule, I'll give you a warning. If you ignore me, respond disrespectfully, etc. I will disqualify you from the awards and block you from my page.

~No one will be getting any special treatment from me. So, whether you're one of my dearest friends or a writer I've never interacted with before, I will be judging your stories fairly.

~I am a vocal reader, so when I start reading or re-reading accepted entries, I'll be voting on the chapters I enjoy and commenting as I go. No day is the same, so some days, I might interact more than other times; it depends on my mood, if I have something else going on, and the time of day.

~I leave bookmarking comments, so if I need to stop mid-chapter, it does not mean I'm not enjoying the book. It just means that I need to stop for the moment and will come back later.
