Chapter 20: New Years

Tonight was the night of the New Year's party and right about now all of the girls were at April and Dave's spot in April's makeshift closet getting dressed and ready for the night. The music was on and popping, they were singing along to the songs, and just hype about the night period. The theme for the night was black white and silver and the girls were throwing on their finest. Yes they were partying at home and with family but that didn't mean they couldn't dress the part. Besides the last time they had all gotten to really throw it on was the night of Dave's listening party so tonight it was a must. The men were getting dressed as well and pretty much ready and just waiting on the girls. So while they waited they just sat around the house shooting the shit as usual giving the girls the time they needed. April had gotten Kairi and Charlie dressed in cute matching outfits making sure they had on a pair of leggings underneath so Kairi could still keep warm but also be able to rip and run around without worrying about keeping her legs closed as if she had just worn a dress. They had on their matching jewelry sets and their curls were fresh and popping. They looked adorable and at the moment they were already at the house chilling with their grandparents. Dave had dropped them off after April had gotten them dressed so that all the adults could chill and pregame while they were getting dressed.

"Bitchhhhhhh look at the snapback" Ebony dragged as she looked over at April watching her running her hands down her dress smoothing it out.

"Who me" April joked and looked at herself in the mirror smiling. "That's that mommy duty plus hard work and dedication" she said proudly. All that ripping and running after the girls had paid off and exercising when she could topped it off. She wasn't back to her original weight but she was still happy with her new mommy body. Her ass was extra plump and both she and Dave had no complaints about it. Him being an ass man he loved it. Her breast were larger but then again she was still holding milk and breast feeding so she really didn't know what they were going to look like in the end but either way right now she was happy with them. Her stomach was back to being flat but now she was graced with a few stretch marks. She didn't care though they weren't that bad and besides they reminded her of the life she had given so she called them her war wounds. At the end of the day she was still a bad bitch and loved her body and her man praised it in each and every way possible so it was a win. Papi loved to kiss all over her and show those stretch marks and her body some love.

"Shit I see and it looks good babes" she said happy that April was back to being comfortable in her own skin.

"Thank you thank you" April said and turned around facing her sisters to see everyone damn near dressed and looking like a set of bad bitches as usual. "See I knew y'all were going to show up and show out tonight and a bitch is here for it" April said hyping up Alaina, Ebony, and Mimi as usual. It was only right.

"Oh you know we had to. Lil daddy said he wanted to end the night right so I wanted to give him a lil motivation" Alaina said and bit down on her bottom lip then laughed. She was dressed in a gorgeous white dress sheer dress with silver strands of sequin covering her breast all the way down to her thighs with matching white gold accessories. Her natural hair was out and styled with a side bang. She looked beautiful.

"Nasty asses I hope y'all plan on keeping it quiet because everyone's staying at the house tonight" April said reminding her that it was going to be a full house and she was pretty sure they didn't want their parents to hear them getting it in.

"Oh trust we're good tonight" she said as a matter of fact like she had it all planned out and knowing her if it was a dick appointment it was definitely planned out.

"Uh huh" April said and they all laughed. "Y'all are gonna have my brothers acting up tonight"

"Hey it was either come hard or go home and I chose to come hard" Ebony said as she looked herself over in the mirror making sure her breast were nice and covered in her somewhat sheer spaghetti strap black dress that fit her body oh so perfectly. April knew Bully was going to be all over Ebony's ass once he seen her. For one he was always on her but tonight with the way she was looking in her dress she knew he wasn't letting her out of his sight.

"Talk that shit sis" Mimi said as she raked her fingers through her bone straight long frontal wig feeling herself. Hopefully for her sake it was on secure tonight because she knew Shooter was bound to try some shit. She had tried some new lace glue so she was hoping like hell that it held up to all the hype behind it.

"Shit sis look at you though Shooter's ass is gonna be on ya heels too" Alaina said looking her over. Mimi didn't come to play she was dressed in a silk short black long sleeve wrap around dress with her breast sitting up nice and a little exposed but tastefully done.

"And I'm here for it" Mimi said and laughed. She loved her some Shooter. Sure they weren't in love just yet but they both had a strong liking for one another and so far their relationship was going good and they could both see each other being in one another's life long term.

"Y'all know as soon as they hear us in here laughing and shit they're gonna try to rush us out" Ebony said knowing how their asses be clocking them.

"I ain't rushing shit I need to make sure that I'm all the way good before I step foot outside" April said as a matter of fact putting on her jewelry.

Ebony, Alaina, and Mimi looked at her and laughed. "Yea uh huh right say it with ya chest sis while ya in here with us. We all know as soon as ya fiancé comes knocking ya ass is gonna float right to the door and open it up and be ready to go" Ebony said giving April the yeah right face. They all knew what it was.

"Sisssss why you coming for me and I ain't send for you and ya damn right I'm a float to my fiancé...when I'm good and ready" April said laughing. She and Dave had been attached by the hip since he had proposed to her again. They both just wanted to be around each other and enjoy the moment while they had it. Then the fact that he was going back on the road pretty much in the next few days didn't help. They just wanted to spend as much time together as possible. So all week long they had been having family days chilling with the Kairi and Charlie and the nights belonged to them. "But don't act ya ass be doing the same shit"

"I was talking bout you we weren't talking bout me" Ebony playfully shot back.

"Uh huh" April said and playfully rolled her eyes then slipped on her black Balmain woman amazone suede and leather over the knee boots. No one was coming to play tonight. April finished making sure she was straight for the night then walked off to her shoe rack that held her boots and picked up a pair of her wheat Timberlands.

"What you need those for" Alaina questioned and scrunched up her face confused.

"I don't know bout y'all but if I'm keeping it a hunnid these last few days have been blissful as hell. Christmas was fun and nothing went down, the day after Christmas our proposal announcement was a vibe and still nothing happened, and every day after that has been peaceful and quiet. You know me it can never be this damn peaceful the shoe has to drop eventually and just in case it's tonight I'm ready" April said letting them know what was what. They had all been chilling and nothing popped off like it normally did when they had a celebration so she knew something was bound to happen one of these days. She felt the need to be prepared just in case tonight was going to be that night.

"Well since you mentioned it it's better to be prepared than assed out. Luckily I got some clothes here" Ebony said making sure when she grabbed her overnight bag out of the room she had been staying in to pack some fight clothes just in case.

"I got gym clothes in the trunk" Mimi added but if anything did pop off April wasn't going to let her get her hands dirty but it was good to know she was on go. April didn't want Mimi involved in that part of her life. Sure she knew how they got down but everybody didn't need to get down like that. So yes she could watch but that was it.

"And I got clothes at the house so we ready" Alaina spoke up. She still had clothes and everything else at the house for when she came to visit.

"Say less well let's finish up before they come knocking" April said and turned back to the mirror and added a little lip gloss on top of her lipstick.

Knock Knock

"Too late" Alaina said and they laughed as the first set of knocks came.

"Who is it" April asked laughing.

"It's me lil big sis I came to collect mines" August said behind the door and they just laughed.

"And he's not alone I'm here to collect mines too" Shooter said of course.

"Welp that's my cue" Mimi said and looked herself over once more before sashaying her way to the door.

"Me too lil daddy calls" Alaina said following behind her.

"And y'all were just talking all that shit but ok" April said laughing as she watched them walk out the door.

"Then there was two" Ebony said while she finished putting on her finishing touches making sure her lashes were intact and no hair was out of place on her unit.

"And bout to be one because you know like I know brother bout to be knocking too" April laughed. They stayed with the jokes like Dave was the only one coming for his but all of their men were the same way when it came to them.

"Whatever just don't take all day when ya man excuse me I mean fiancé comes knocking for you" she shot back.

"Take that up with Papi. I can't make you any promises" April laughed thinking about how Dave had been on her extra heavy these past few days.

"Nasty asses"

"Call it what ya want but let's not act like ya man ain't leaving in a few days right along with mines. See I don't call you out but I noticed that fucked up walk of yours. Brothers been blowing ya back out" April said and snickered. Ebony's walk had been fucked up since the day they came back from the pop up but April had let her be and kept her laughs to herself.

"Damn sure has" she stuck out her tongue and started twerking right as another set of knocks went off.

Knock Knock

April smirked and looked at Ebony already knowing who it was. "Who is it" she playfully asked.

"Lil sis it's me I'm here for bae. I know her ass is ready by now" Bully said.

"Oop" April said still laughing.

"Coming bae" Ebony said and looked over herself once more.

"Ya look beautiful sis go head and meet ya man already" April smiled.

"Thanks sis you do too. I'll see you in a few"

"Bet" and with that Ebony made her way to and out the door closing it behind her.

April knew Dave would be knocking soon so she took this time to put her boots in one of her duffle bags and grabbed a pair of sweats and a T-shirt placing them in the bag as well. Just as she zipped up her bag another set of knocks went off.

Knock Knock

"Yes Papi" she said smiling already knowing it was him. Not only because she was the last one in the room but because she knew his knock. As usual he didn't even bother to speak he just walked right on in and closed the door behind himself.

"Damn ma" he looked at her up and down and licked his lips as he stalked over to her.

"How do I look" she playfully asked as she stood in front of him dressed in a black velvet thigh length sleeveless dress that showed all of her curves with matching black knee high boots on. She had on a pair of black leather gloves as the collar of her dress showcased red flowers. She had paired her outfit with black diamonds bracelets trimmed in white gold and a pair of large white gold hoops and as usual her hair was in its natural state in a high ponytail with her curls popping and fluffed to perfection.

"See this is the shit I be talking bout. You be looking like a fuckin full course meal and the way my dick is set up I be ready to plant my seeds" he said as he stood in front of her drinking her all in.

"Oh no...no...no Papi unlike you I officially have a wedding dress to get into and I'm finally able to wear a dress without shapewear so let me live. Let me be great. I already promised you the wedding night" she said looking at him looking all daddyish on his modeling shit dressed in a black velvet short sleeve shirt, black pants, black designer sneakers, and his long black hooded fur trimmed in leather. He had a fresh line up, some straight backs, pinky rings on, and of course his neck pieces with his boys on them matching April's fly. Lately he had been thinking about a modeling career so he was trying new looks and at this point April was just ready for someone to sign him up to their agency because Papi was ready.

"I know ma but you making it hard for a nigga" he groaned as he now stood in front of her and reached his hand out for her.

April grabbed his hand. "I know Papi but ya gonna have to continue practicing because it ain't happening. Besides Papi's baby is only three months and you're going back on tour. We don't need another lil one at the moment" she said giving him the same talk she had been giving him for a little while now.

"I know I know shit" he groaned again. He couldn't wait to plant his seeds and watch them grow. With the way she was looking tonight he could give two fucks about everything else. "Turn around for me"

April laughed. "So this is a part two to the listening party huh" she said remembering how he had done her that very same night.

"Nah this is different. This time I get to look at you, touch you, and fuck up ya walk. Now turn around and let me see how that ass is sitting up in this dress" he said in a husky tone as he looked at her with nothing but pure lust in his eyes. He was ready to take her down.

"Oop si Papi" April said teasingly and slowly turned around so he could see just what he wanted to see her ass sitting high and looking all types of right in her dress.

SMACK

Dave smacked her ass watching it put on a little show for him and groaned while a moan escaped April's lips. She looked back at him with her bottom lip tucked in her mouth.

"Yea we both bout to take some L's tonight cause a nigga bout to have to take you down in the closet when the clock strikes twelve. I don't give a fuck who at the house" he said with the look in his eyes that April just knew he meant that shit.

April turned back around and looked up at him. "I guess I can get more practice in the being quiet department" she said and winked. "Come on I know everyone is waiting on us" she said and stepped away, grabbed her phone, her duffel bag and her black fur, and started making her way towards the door already knowing that he wanted her to walk ahead of him so he could watch her ass as she walked.

"Good girl" he nodded and followed behind her with his eyes dead set on her ass.

"Papi you better watch ya self before you trip or some shit" she said and looked back at him and reached for the door opening it.

"I'm good" he said still following behind her and out the door closing it behind them then followed her all the way downstairs to where they met up with the crew.

"Bout damn time" Alaina said looking over at them as they finally joined them.

"Facts lil baybeh" August said with his arms wrapped around her waist.

"We didn't even take that long but either way blame Papi it was all him" April said laughing at Dave who's eyes were still locked on her.

"Whatever" Dave said waving them off. He didn't care he was fascinated with his woman and when he got to see her dressed like she was he couldn't help but stare.

"Any, who y'all know the drill let's get this toast cracking and head out" Shooter said ready to get the party started. They had all been hype about tonight.

"Bet" they all said as Mimi passed everyone a shot glass filled with Hennessy Pure White.

"To a drama free lit ass night" Shooter said and raised his glass.

"Say less" they all raised their glasses and knocked them back while April handed hers off to Dave. She was going to be the sober one once again but she didn't mind though it was for a good cause.

"Bet let's roll out" Chris said.

"TEDDY B" Dave yelled calling Teddy. Kairi had called earlier to make sure they had brought him along so that's what they were doing. Besides he was coming anyway. He had to bring in the New Year with his family. Teddy happily made his way to Dave and Dave scooped him up.

Everyone double checked to make sure they had everything for the night before they started making their way towards and out of the front door. Once everyone was out Dave locked up making sure he put the alarm on. One by one everyone was in their cars and pulling out of the circled driveway.

"HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE" the crew shouted as they walked inside April's spot hearing the music already playing and smelling the scent of food lingering in the air. They took off their coats, hung them up in the coat closet, and walked further inside the house. The girls had been there earlier that day and helped cook alongside Ananda, Mama Faye, and Mama Joyce and even Kairi was right along with them. April always made sure Kairi was in the kitchen with them during times like this. She already loved to bake so April figured she would do like her mother had done her and her sisters and teach her everything she knew about cooking and baking. This was their bonding time. April wanted something that they could keep as a tradition and make sure that when Kairi got older and went out on her own that she would be able to fend for herself.

Most of the food was already cooked and just needed to be warmed up which was already being done as well as putting on last minute shit that didn't take long to cook at all. This time there was no feast like Christmas and Thanksgiving. It was an assortment of bomb ass finger foods such as different flavored wing flings, bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp and crab dip, cheesy baked meatballs, and a bunch of other foods and desserts. They had all the liquor, juice, water, and ice, blunt wraps, weed for the night well into the next few days.  They had even decorated the house to make it look like an actual party and the decorations had come out bomb as well. The men had even moved the furniture around so one of the living rooms was a full on dance floor and they even made a cute makeshift photo booth that the girls decorated as well.

"HAPPY NEW YEARS" their parents yelled back along with Kairi.

"Yesssss... yes... yes y'all are looking beautiful mamas" April said and snapped her fingers as she looked over at all of their mothers looking like snacks themselves and dressed to the nines. Ananda was dressed in a black sheer spiked dress with a split showcasing her beautiful chocolate leg and showing just a hint of cleavage with her hair in a sleek high long wavy ponytail with silver ankle strapped high heels on with a simple and natural beat face.

"Why thank you Peanut" her mother said and gave her a boogie kiss kissing both of her cheeks.

"Mommy you lucky we're in the house tonight because it looks like me, Pops, and the boys would have to throw out some trash" Dave said looking his mother over. She was dressed in a beautiful off the shoulder black long sequin dress.

"Word I'd hate to have to dirty up my fly ah outfit tonight" Errol said looking at her making sure not to curse since Kairi was front and center.

They laughed. "Ain't nobody worried bout lil ole me" she said playing coy.

"That's a lie" Senior said walking up on her then wrapped his arms around her waist loving on her.

"Here for it" Alaina said as she looked at them in awe. They honestly loved how the men in their family loved on their wives.

"Let me find out you gotta a date after this" April said looking at Mama Joyce showing off her shape in a glittery silver one piece pants jumper.

"A date with the family" Chris spoke up looking at her.

"Boy bye" all the women said looking at him.

"I'm grown and like I said don't worry bout me I'm all the way good" Mama Joyce said and posed.

"Oop ok, ok" the women said. They absolutely loved the way Mama Joyce felt about herself. She wasn't checking for anybody that they knew of but she was damn sure dating herself and treating herself damn good.

"Princess Love Bug let me see that outfit" April said looking down at Kairi smiling. She couldn't leave her baby out. She was looking so cute and adorable in her high low black tutu skirt that April paired with a black long sleeve bodysuit that said 'I'm a Princess' in silver metallic ink. To be a little different April paired it with a pair of black Dr. Marten's Delany boots. She had on her jewelry set that she got for Christmas and some diamond studs that Dave had bought her a while back. Then to top it all off she had a cute silver ribbon for a headband tied in a cute bow as her curls popped.

"I'm pretty mama" Kairi looked up at her and April bent down to her height.

"No Love Bug ya beautiful" she said and kissed her forehead making her smile brightly.

"Thank you" she said and kissed her cheek then ran off to Dave.

"Where's my littlest princess" April asked looking around the room for Charlie.

"In her playpen sleep" Ian said as he walked into the room and up on Ananda wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Aww" April pouted.

"Well hey let's get this party started" August said on go.

"Word" Shooter chimed in as usual. They just had to follow up when it came to each other.

"Yesssssss" April, Alaina, Ebony, and Mimi said in unison all hype and ready to hit the floor.

"Y'all already know the drill" Ny-Reek said looking at the men. The girls already knew what time it was. They were about to head to the basement and put some smoke in the air. It was something that they all did together whenever they linked up. It was tradition at this point.

"Bet" they said, kissed their women, and headed towards Ny-Reek including Teddy who was by Dave's side. Their family even knew how Teddy got down.

"Wayment the party can't start without Trey late self" April said realizing he was missing in action as usual. All of them were going to have to have a little chat with him about his attendance.

"He just hit me up he's on his way" Chris said looking down at his phone. "He's a few minutes away"

"Ok"
