They had taken all of her gifts from under the tree the night before and laid them all on the couch so all she had to do was unwrap them, open them, and enjoy. Dave had his phone out and on deck recording the moment. Gift after gift she cheesed opening each one with more and more excitement.

"Daddy, look what Santa got me" Kairi said as she held up a Disney Elsa dress from the movie Frozen.

"You'll be aight" he chuckled "You got some gifts under the tree too ma"

"And all this time I thought you didn't get me anything" he said jokingly. April just looked at him and laughed thinking if only you knew. The shit that she had at the house was straight lightweight compared to what she had at her parent's house waiting for him.

"I know ya not talking you were busy low key buying gifts while you were on the road" she playfully shot back. His ass had done some shopping and tried to sneak all the shit in the house but she had caught him. Luckily for him she hadn't seen what was in the bags. She had only gotten to see the things that he had bought everyone else and since his wrapping skills were trash she ended up wrapping those gifts up for him.

"Hey I had to make sure I got my girls and my woman straight"

"Ouuuu shiny" Kairi said as she opened up her puzzle necklace and then her charm bracelet. April and Dave just laughed.

"You and ya sisters all have one and they all connect" April said smiling happy that she liked them. "Come here" Kairi walked over to April with the jewelry in her hands. April opened Charlie's jewelry then showed Kairi. "See when you put the necklaces together they connect" April said as she put their necklaces together showing her. "Yours say middle sister and Triple B's says baby sister and when you see Royalty's hers says big sister. Y'all will always be connected" The puzzle pieces meant a lot to April and signified that just because they weren't all blood related didn't mean that they weren't sisters. Sisters came in many forms and her little girls were sisters through and through and she wanted to make sure that she instilled that in them. She wanted them to know that they all had someone to watch their backs and be there for them and that was each other.

"Can we wear it today" she excitedly asked.

"Yup y'all can I'll put it on you after you get dressed"

"Yes I'm a look like you momma" she smiled looking at her jewelry. April always wore jewelry. Sometimes it was flashy and sometimes it was something a little light but she always had something on. April and Dave laughed again. Dave already had a few pieces of jewelry in the stash for her that she wore on occasions but most of those pieces were flashy besides her tennis bracelet with the matching necklace. With the jewelry April had gotten her it was jewelry she could wear every day and since it matched her sisters she would be mindful about it and cherish it.

"Momma is sister coming with unkie for Christmas" Kairi asked as she made her way back to her toys with her jewelry still in her hands.

"Lil Butt put ya jewelry back in the boxes until later"

"Ok"

"Sista has to stay at home with her mommy this year but unkie is coming to get her gifts and take them to her when he leaves"

Kairi looked over at them and pouted. She missed her big sister. April couldn't blame her she missed Royalty too. This time last year they had got to celebrate the holidays together and this year she couldn't be with them. She understood though and that's why she couldn't wait to move to LA so they would all be closer and since she was now officially her god mother they would be able to see each other more frequently. "Can I FaceTime sista"

"Yea you can Love Bug we'll call her a lil later since it's too early to call her right now" April answered.

"Ok" she said and continued playing with her toys.

"She'll be aight ma February is right around the corner"

"Well get to opening ya presents" he said trying to make her smile. He knew she missed Royalty just as much as Kairi did. She hadn't really seen her as much since Chris had been working on his new project and when he did have the chance to visit it wasn't his time with Royalty so she couldn't visit with him.

The three of them enjoyed each other's company as they opened gift after gift. Kairi played with her new toys while April made a big breakfast requested by both Dave and Kairi. They had stuffed French toast topped with strawberry syrup, strawberries, and whipped cream paired with scrambled eggs and cheese with beef bacon and a side of hot cocoa with jumbo marshmallows. April had even made sure to call her baby Royalty so they could all talk to her and wish her a merry Christmas and to also let her know that Chris was going to bring back the presents they got for her this weekend. He was coming to Jersey to spend the holidays with Charlie but make no mistake he was going to stop by to see Royalty first before leaving.

"I wish we could've put up a family picture of all of us in our onesies instead of leaving my baby out" April said and pouted. They had took a few pictures of them in their onesies with Charlie included but they couldn't post those pictures online.

"Stop pouting ma we're all gonna have to sit down and talk and figure out when we're going to announce her to the world. Once we let the cat out the bag it ain't no taking it back. A lot of ish is gonna come our way so you gotta be ready for the bs" Dave said as he looked over at April with Charlie in her arms looking down at her in awe. He knew just like April knew that once they posted anything about Charlie and who her father was that people were going to try to come for her neck with rude and mean ass comments because people felt like they could say and do anything behind a keyboard but wouldn't dare say the shit to their faces.

"I know but you know I want all the smoke especially if anybody is coming for my baby. I don't even care if the world knows about her I just want to be able to share pictures with her like I do with my other babies. She's been here for three months today and took lil pictures with her sisters but we have to keep them to ourselves. They be all dressed up twinning and we put up pictures of Love Bug and my baby but Triple B be in her outfit right along with them and can't be seen" she said feeling some type of way but it was her choice to keep her to themselves and she knew that keeping her out of the limelight was a good thing. People on the internet could be ruthless.

"Ma no worries you'll be aight and we're not hiding Triple B from the world we're just giving ourselves some privacy and also protecting her from all the negative people out there" he said and smooth swiped Charlie out of April's arms.

April looked at him and damn near rolled her eyes. "I'm so tired of you and bestie stealing my child"

"You'll be aight and it's our child and like bro be saying you had her to ya self for nine months and more since I've been on tour so you'll be aight. Ain't the right Triple B" he said looking down at Charlie cooing as he she looked back at him smiling.

"Man I'm going to play with my Love Bug y'all be doing too much acting like it's my fault I had her to myself for nine months" April said and scooted over to Kairi who was playing with her new dollhouse. She already had one but this new shit was a total upgrade and shitted on the one she already had.

Christmas at the Brewster household had gone on without a hitch and was a total success. Everyone was all smiles and the day was filled with nothing but smiles, laughter, positive vibes, and being plastered all over Dave's IG live as usual. Right now April, Dave, and the girls were all dressed in their ugly Christmas sweaters, distressed jeans, and wheat Timbs. Yes they were that family they didn't mind matching. They all had on different versions of ugly sweaters yet they were still matching. April's parents were throwing an ugly sweater Christmas party just like they did every year and this time Dave and his family were invited and coming along to celebrate their family as a whole. Kairi couldn't wait to get over to their house just so she could open more presents and of course April was trying her best to keep calm and not give out any clues that she had something big for Dave. This Christmas party would be filled with only their immediate family meaning just the usual family that was always around. They we're keeping it tight knit this year.

"Ma is that all the gifts" Dave asked as he walked back into the living room to see April helping Kairi put on her coat. She already had Charlie in her winter gear and in her car seat strapped in and ready to go while Dave had been outside loading up the trunk with gifts.

"I think so but I'm gonna double check right after I finish with Love Bug" April said as she zipped up Kairi's black bubble Moncler coat that matched Dave's and put on her black ear muffs.

"Bet" he said and picked up the car seat watching April finish up with Kairi.

"Ok you can take them out I'm a double check everything and lock up"

"Heard ju" Dave said and nodded then picked up Charlie and the car seat. "Come on Lil Butt"

"Ok" she walked over to him and grabbed his hand.

April walked over to the Christmas tree and double checked to make sure that they had everybody's gifts. Once she was sure she had everything she put on her coat, grabbed her purse, the baby bag, her phone, and house keys then made her way out the house making sure to lock up behind herself.

"Thanks Papi" April thanked Dave as usual for opening the truck door for her then reached over and opened his door for him.

It took them no more than a little over a half an hour to make it to her parent's house. She couldn't wait to see everyone. Her sister was home for the holidays and the boys had all made it home as well for the holidays so she knew it was going to be good vibes all around. As usual before she could even open the door someone was already opening it up for them and of course since she wasn't by herself anymore and had kids Alaina grabbed Triple B's car seat and Ebony scooped up Kairi leaving her as a damn after thought but she was used to it by now.

"Well Geesh a Merry Christmas to y'all too" she said and rolled her eyes then walked away and went to help Dave with the presents.

Dave looked at her and chuckled. "Damn ma looks like you got no love"

April looked at him and shook her head. "None not even a damn Merry Christmas" she said as she grabbed a few gifts.

"You'll be aight" he chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"I swear if you tell me I'll be aight one more time" she mumbled.

"What's that" he looked at her.

"Man come on I'm cold" she said and closed the trunk.

"Like I thought you know better" Dave said acting as if he was her daddy as usual.

April leaned back and looked up at him. "Talk ya shit while you can Papi" she said and walked off.

"You just don't even know" he cheesed behind her watching and following her to the house. Inside the house they got themselves situated and made it into the living room where everyone was at. There was Christmas music playing in the background, everyone in their ugly sweaters, decorations everywhere, mistletoe is certain areas, and everyone just smiling.

"Merry Christmas everyone we come bearing gifts" April said with bags in her hands.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" they all shouted back.

"Hey mommy hey daddy these are for you" April said and kissed both of their cheeks and passed them their gifts.

"Hey Peanut thank you" they said together.

"Ya gift is under the tree" Ananda said and April nodded.

"Merry Christmas unkie this is for you" April passed him his gift and kissed his cheek and continued to make her rounds.

"Thanks shawty doo wop Merry Christmas. You already know it's under the tree" Ny-Reek said smiling.

"Ok" she nodded then walked over to Dave's parents. "Merry Christmas mama and pops" she kissed their cheeks as well.

"Merry Christmas daughter" they said together.

"These are for you" she said and took their gifts out of Dave's hand and passed them to them and laughed.

"Well dang" Dave said and mugged her.

"You'll be aight" she said and walked away laughing. They all exchanged gifts but didn't open them yet.

"Ok family before we open the gifts let's go eat and get ready for the festivities" Ian said as he looked around the room filled with family and smiled. Everyone had made it to dinner. Their parents, uncle Ny-Reek, Alaina and August, Ebony and Bully, Shooter and evening Mimi came through as well as Chris and Mama Joyce, and let's not forget Errol was there too. The only one missing was Trey but they knew he was good. He was in Virginia celebrating with his own family but they knew he would be there for New Years. Everyone washed and cleaned their hands and made their way into the dining room then fixed their plates. Once again Ananda and Faye had gone above and beyond with the food as if it was Thanksgiving all over again minus the turkey.

"Big bro I know how you are and before you start just let me know before you pray if I need to go hold my spot down at the microwave before the line gets out the door" Ny-Reek said looking over at Ian. Everyone fell the fuck out laughing he was too damn serious. It was like Thanksgiving all over again.

"I live for these moments" August said looking between the two brothers laughing.

"I'm done y'all came for me on Thanksgiving but not today" Ian said looking at his brother.

"Daddy you ain't have to come for unkie like that...AGAIN" Ebony said in between laughing.

"Y'all doing all this talking and I could've been done praying"

"True" April and Alaina said agreeing.

"Look at them backing up their daddy" Shooter said.

"Man I already know what type of day it's gonna be" April said and shook her head. It was going to be double trouble and nothing but laughs.

Ian cleared his throat getting everyone's attention. He was here for the laughter but his ass was low key ready to eat just like everyone else. Between him and Senior Ananda and Faye was playing no games about them coming in the kitchen while they were cooking so they had been running on breakfast and fumes from dinner being cooked. "Dear God thank you for bringing our family together for another holiday and making sure everyone arrived safely. Thank you for blessing the hands that prepared the food once again. Thank you for blessing all of the women at our table making them riders and allowing us to ride for them just the same. Thank you for keeping us together and keeping everyone protected when it seems like the world is against us. Thank you for everything you do and continue to do for us amen" Ian prayed thankful to make another holiday and share it with his loved ones.

"Amen" everyone said.

"I loved that one daddy" Ananda said and leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks mommy I'm glad you did" he smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

"And that ladies and gentlemen are where we lovely Blackmon's get it from" Alaina said looking over at her parents smiling. This is who they learned how to be the women they were today. They got to see it firsthand. The love not only their father poured on their mother but the love their mother poured on their father was always seen and felt in their household.

"Facts" April and Ebony agreed.

"Soooo Papi bestie done had Triple B for a while now" April said and looked over at Dave and then back over at Chris who had Charlie in his arms while he was eating. "Let that had been me with the baby you would've snatched her up by now"

"Chilllll Apple what's understood doesn't need to be explained" Chris said and looked over at Dave then went back to eating and sharing his food with Charlie. He had been talking all that shit about her grandmothers feeding her shit she didn't eat yet she was chowing down on his plate.

"Facts like I said the other day and just like bro says you had her to yourself for nine months so you'll be aight" Dave said agreeing with Chris as they double teamed her.

"Who would've known this is how ish would be" April said and shook her head.

"Here they go with that three way ish again" Shooter said looking at them.

"Bro you know how they do" August said co-signing as usual.

"Mannnn" April dragged. "When can we go open the presents" April asked and rolled her eyes.

"Ouuu yes presents momma" Kairi said all hype making everyone laugh as she danced in her seat.

Everyone ate and the conversation flew freely around the table just like it did when they were all together. Desert came and went and before they knew it everyone was in the living room hyped up opening their presents. April had balled out on everybody and had received some good ass gifts as well. April had dipped off acting as if she had to go to the bathroom but really went and snagged the keys from her father. She crept out the side door that lead to the garage, hit the garage opener, unlocked the doors to the car, hopped inside, closed the door, started up the car, and pulled it out of the garage and in front of the house. She turned it off, hopped out, and made sure the blue ribbon was nice and in place before she made her way up the stairs to the front door and rang the doorbell.

The bell went off causing everyone to look around the room. Everyone who was invited to the party was there so they didn't know who was ringing the bell well everyone besides Ian. Everyone else was just hoping that it wasn't another pop up and that the mood of the party wouldn't be ruined. They just wanted one holiday and one moment without anything bad happening. They were tired of people coming around and trying to sabotage shit.

"Please don't let it be Hazel please don't let it be Hazel" August chanted above a whisper but everyone had heard him and the crew was hoping the same.

"Not today I can't do it" Alaina said just hoping it wasn't Hazel because they all knew that if it was the vibe would definitely be ruined and April would leave without a doubt. They knew this time she wouldn't even sit around and play the game this time around and although they wanted to see her finally let loose they knew this wasn't the moment. She was happy, the kids were happy, and the family was happy as a whole and they wanted to keep that same energy.

"I got it" Ian stood up trying his best to keep a straight face and made his way to the front door.

"Who is it" he asked already knowing who it was but nonetheless he played along.

"Package for Dave East" he heard April say behind the door.

"Dave it's for you" Ian said as he made his way back into the living room.

Dave scrunched his face confused on who would be knocking on their door asking for him. "Who is it" he asked Ian as he stood up from the couch.

"It's a delivery" Ian said and shrugged.

Dave looked at him and squint his eyes before walking away and making his way to the front door then cautiously opened it to see April leaned up against a car with a blue ribbon on it cheesing.

"SURPRISE PAPI" she shouted.

"YOU SHITTTENNNN ME" he shouted back excitedly and rushed down the steps making everybody rush to the door to see what the commotion was. "Ma stop fuckin with me right now" Dave said with his eyes locked on the car.

"DAMN" all the men said as they looked at the car.

"Dang that's nice" Errol said looking around to make sure Kairi wasn't close by just in case he slipped up.

April looked at him and laughed happy with his reaction. "I told you just because you didn't see anything didn't mean there wasn't anything for you. Merry Christmas Papi. This beauty is the 2020 McLaren 720s Spider" she said and dangled the key fob in front of him.

"Ma you serious right now" he questioned. Gifts like these he didn't get. He was the one to purchase them for himself so to get a gift like this from his woman was surreal. No one had ever given him a gift this big.

April grabbed his hand and placed the key fob in it. "So serious go ahead and check her out and enjoy"

Dave looked down at her and scooped her up in his arms with the quickness. April wrapped her legs around his waist laughing. "Thank you ma" he said and kissed her.

"Ya welcome Papi now put me down and check her out"

"Living room tonight I want you in that blue robe as soon as the kids go to sleep" Dave whispered in her ear and placed her down to the ground.

"Heard ju" she said and gave him some space so he could check out the car in its entirety.

Dave walked around the car checking it. He couldn't see, see with it being dark outside but he knew for a fact the shit was done right. He couldn't wait to see it in the light. He unlocked the door and groaned at the sight then looked over at April. "You the fuckin best ma"

"DADDY" Kairi shouted hearing him curse but he didn't even care at this point.

"I'll pay you later Lil Butt" he said already knowing what type of time she was on. She didn't care what was going on she still wanted her damn money.

April watched him look over the car and check what he could see and all she could see was excitement written all over his face. "Aight Papi you can take her out for a spin she's all yours and in your name me on the other hand I'm a take myself in the house. I'm cold" she said and rubbed up and down her arms.

"Uh huh" he said as he hopped inside the car and started it up. Hearing the engine roar he bounced in his chair excited. April shook her head smiling and made her way back to front door and back inside the house.

"Dang sis you just made his day" Ebony said as April took a seat between her and Alaina on the couch. All the men were outside taking a look at the car.

"I'm happy that I could make that happen for him. He deserves it" April said and shrugged.

"All I want to know is when the wedding is" Mimi said and looked over at her smirking.

April couldn't do shit but blush. Here they were talking about a wedding when they didn't even know she was already Dave's fiancé and had been since November. But she was playing it cool she was not about to let the cat out of the bag until he had his do over but baybeh when he did propose she was definitely going to let everyone know.

"Uh huh me too" Mama Faye said looking at April wondering the same thing.

April shrugged feeling eyes all over as all the women wondered when Dave was going to make his move. "That's on him it'll happen sooner or later. I'm not in a rush" she said keeping it simple. "That does not mean y'all can start planning a wedding either" April said looking between her and Dave's mother already knowing how they are.

"Sis now you know it's too late for that. They probably started planning the day of the baby shower" Alaina said and laughed. Ananda and Faye looked at each other and got up from their seats looking guilty as hell.

"They were" Ebony said and laughed as they clearly gave themselves up.

"Mommy now you know I love you to pieces you too Mama Faye but y'all can't be planning my wedding at least not without me. He hasn't even asked me to marry him yet. Don't y'all think that's jumping the gun" April said looking at them as they sat back down.

"I mean you can never be to early when it comes to planning" Ananda said.

"That's true especially when you know its' gonna happen. You just don't know when" Mama Faye said.

"That's true" Mama Joyce said and shook her head while she played with Charlie.

"Whose getting married" August said as he walked back into the living room and sat beside Alaina followed by the rest of the men. Between him and Shooter they were the wrong ones to hear what they were talking about.

"Nobody" all of the women said trying to keep the conversation to themselves.

"Who getting married" Shooter asked as he walked back inside the living room right behind August and made his way to Mimi scooping her out of her seat then took a seat making sure she was good in his lap.

"No one brother" April said before anyone else could bring it back up and make it a whole discussion.

"You sure because I could've sworn I heard someone mention a wedding" Shooter said looking at her.

"Baby" Mimi said and nudged shooter.

"What I do" he asked as he looked at her wondering what he had done.

Mimi looked at him and gave him a look. "Keep it up"

"I was just asking a question" he said.

"And sis gave you an answer" she said looking back at him.

"Oop" April looked at Shooter and laughed. "I stan"

"She don't don't run ish over here" Shooter said and looked away from Mimi.

"Boy bye" April, Alaina, and Ebony said together and laughed. They knew what was up.

"Ma you the bestest that shit mean as hell" Dave said as he walked into the living room still cheesing.

"I try I try" she said and popped her imaginary collar. Dave took a seat on the floor in front of her and reached in his pocket already knowing that Kairi was coming for him.

"Daddy run it" Kairi rolled up on him with her hand out. He didn't even care he passed her five singles and let her be. He didn't even know how many curses he said all he knew was that he said them.

"Thank you" she smiled and passed the singles to April as usual so she could fold her money for her. "Thankies momma" she smiled as April gave her back her money then placed it in her pocket.

"Ya welcome Love Bug"

"She'd do good at a collections agency" Errol said laughing watching Kairi put away her money.

Everyone laughed. "Don't come for my child she's bout her money and y'all know that" April said laughing but he was right she knew how to collect her money.

"Hey Apple you mind if I keep lil seedling for the night" Chris asked with Charlie back in his arms and attached to him. April knew it was because he missed her. He had been finishing up on a project so he couldn't make it every weekend like he used to.

"Now you know you didn't have to ask. I already knew what it was. I knew between you and Mama J y'all were gonna kidnap her" April said laughing. She had packed up her things for the night and had milk pumped for her already. She had been breast feeding her throughout the dinner just so she wouldn't have to touch the pumped milk.

"Say less" Chris nodded.

"Hey now I haven't seen my grandbaby in a few weeks I need my time" Mama Joyce said and laughed.

April put her hands up in the air as if she was surrendering. "You got it"

"Aye yo lil sis ya man's acting booty already. I tried to see the inside of the car and homie wouldn't even let me get a decent look" Bully said looking over at Dave mugging him.

"See brother I ain't got nothing to do with that that's all Papi" she laughed.

"When I get a good look at it first then I'll let you get a good look at it" Dave said and leaned his head back looking over at him.

"All I know is that I got shot gun" Shooter said.

"Man whatever" Bully said.

The family continued on with their day like always enjoying each other's company. There was nothing but laughter in the air as August and Shooter was on their shit as usual just feeding off of each other making everyone laugh and keeping smiles on everyone's faces. There was no bullshit in the air and the vibe had been spot on from the time they entered her parent's house. There was no pop ups and no one to rain on their parade. It was just a day filled with nothing but love. It was honestly the first celebration where they hadn't been interrupted by anybody on some fuckery so it was definitely a day to remember. A few hours later everyone was pretty much leaving out at the same time to finish off their nights the right way. They all said goodbye and went about their business. April and Dave already knew Kairi wasn't spending the night with anybody tonight. She had new toys at the house so that's where she was going to be when she woke up. By the time April and Dave made it home it was a little after ten and Kairi was knocked out and down for the counting.
