Chris walked out of April's hotel suite with an extra pep in his step and a big bright smile on his face straight looking like the kool aid man. He was feeling blissful aftershocks after his long night with April. The whole night had been a great night. From the party to the events that took place in April's suite Chris had one hell of a night. He honestly wasn't expecting anything to go down between them but he had no regrets. Not one at all. April's body felt and looked even better than he remembered and trust that was something he could never forget. The weight gain, the curves, the softness of her skin, the sounds of her pants and moans, her flexibility, the warmness of her succulent walls, the tightness, and the gag reflex that she didn't have made the whole night worth it. Being that close and intimate after all these years away from April was worth it all. Although they were just friends and a line had absolutely been crossed the night was still worth it. Shit being in April's presence, partying with her, and ending the night with her had all been worth it. The way shit had gone down Chris couldn't help but think that Dave was a fool but then again who was he to judge. He had fucked up too.

Chris knew this was a onetime thing and believe it or not he was cool with it. Their friendship was going well so far and he was happy about that but he knew they still had a ways to go and he was willing to continue doing what he had been doing to strengthen their friendship. Chris had lucked up last night and he knew that as well so there was no way he would take it for granted. Although last night had been one of the best nights he had in a long while he did slip up and if a positive popped up he would have to deal with the consequences. Chris never thought he would have another chance like this with April so he didn't know how to feel to a certain extent. He had promised himself that the next baby he had he would be in a serious relationship or married. He wasn't in a relationship let alone ready to be anyone's husband but he knew shit happened and there was nothing you could do about.

What Chris did know was that this was his third chance to be a father and if April was in fact pregnant he was going to be around for the whole process. How would it work? Chris didn't know but what he did know is that he wanted to be around to hold her hair while she threw up. He wanted to be at all of her doctor's appointments, be there to run to the store if she had a sudden craving, and rub her stomach while his baby bloomed inside of the woman he loved. He wanted to be around to talk to his seed while he/she was baking. Chris wanted to do all the things he wasn't able to while Nia was pregnant with Royalty. Sure he went to all of her appointments and ran every time she called but all the stuff he wanted to do for April he didn't do. He couldn't do. One he didn't know if the baby was his and second Nia was never his girlfriend she was just a quick suck and fuck. So not only did he want a good experience for April but also for himself. Chris wanted April to have a good experience this time around and he was going to make sure of it. Whatever he needed to keep her happy and his baby healthy he was going to do. This would be his do over. They might not had been in a relationship or married but at least this time it was with a woman he truly loved and would never stop loving and he was grateful for that.

Chris wanted her to have it all. The gender reveal, baby bump portraits, baby shower, and push gift. Like already stated he was going to make sure she had it all. That was IF she was pregnant. He was going to relax though because he didn't want to jump the gun and get in his feelings just in case she wasn't.

He was in the backseat of his ride while he had his driver for the day take him back to the hotel he was staying at with his mother and Royalty. They had all been invited to spend New Years with April and since it was Chris's turn to have Royalty for the holidays he brought her along and boy was she enjoying herself. She got to hang out with her Apple. They baked an assortment of cookies, sang and danced till they couldn't anymore, and they even had an in home spa day that Royalty couldn't get enough of. To see the huge smile on his baby's face was a priceless moment for him because he never saw her smile as much as she did with her mother the way she smiled around April. Chris knew it was because April took time with her and made that time all about her and not about what Royalty could do for her. April didn't look at Royalty like she was a check but a little girl who wanted and needed a little extra motherly loving. Chris was happy that April was back in both his and Royalty's lives especially his little princess's. April was an amazing woman, role model, and would make an awesome mother to her next child. See they would always be connected by Jr and their friends but with another baby there would be no escaping each other and he was fine with that. Maybe it was fate!

Chris wouldn't dare ask her to take a Plan B or to get an abortion. He wouldn't even think about it. It would be his child too no matter how said child was conceived. The way April treated Royalty he knew that she would love and care for her child no matter what the circumstances were. He never would've thought that this would go down again. Just a few months ago April was telling him that she was in a relationship with one of his boys and now here it was they just slept together. Chris didn't know if this was an opening for a second chance to be with her or was it just a fun night between two friends. Chris knew if he had been lurking in the shadows, plotting, scheming, and waiting for April's relationship with Dave to flop that this opportunity would've never presented itself.

Arriving back at the hotel with his security escorting him to his room he made it with no hiccups along the way. Opening up the room door he could hear his mother and daughter singing along to the movie Frozen. He had watched the movie and heard the songs way too many times to count. He mentally groaned but wouldn't dare kill her fun. Chris walked fully inside singing along while remixing the Do You Want To Build A Snowman song making sure to add a little soul to it.

"RoRo, please I know you're in there. People are asking where you been. They say "have courage" and I know you're trying too. Daddy's right out here for you. Just let me in" Chris sang adding extra notes and finessing it.

"Daddyyyyyy" Royalty jumped up from the couch and ran full speed right into his arms his open arms with a huge smile on her face. He adored his little girl she had to be the best part of him.

"Hey princess" he kissed all over her face making her squeal with joy.

"Hey mama" he walked over and placed a kiss on her forehead as well then took a seat beside her on the couch.

"Hey sweetie" she smiled at him. "How was your night you and my daughter-in-law looked like y'all were enjoying each other's company" she asked and smirked. He knew his mother was still holding on to the idea of him and April making it back down the aisle.

Chris chuckled. "My night was great. You know me and Apple always been clowns on the dance floor" He and April had killed the dance floor last night. April couldn't do flips and shit but everything else she could keep up with him and besides the two of them together some shit was bound to go down. Paired together their asses were absolute clowns. It was always smiling, laughing, jokes on top of jokes, and just good vibes especially went shit was good and right now shit was good.

"Apple" Royalty screamed excitedly. "Daddy can we see Apple today" she asked.

"Yes princess we're gonna stop by Apple's before we leave"

"Yes" she cheered and fist bumped the air. "Today's gonna be funnn" she did a little dance. Chris and Mama J just laughed at her. Even his mother loved Royalty and April's relationship.

"So what did you get into for the rest of the night? I thought you'd be back here once the party was over" Mama J asked curiously. Chis knew she was digging for information and she wasn't going to get shit out of him. What happened between him and April last night was just that...between him and April.

Chris shrugged not trying to give anything away. "Nothing much just hung out with the crew" he told a little white lie. He didn't want to put him and April's business out there let alone give his mother any hope that they were getting back together when they were just friends.

"Uh huh" she smirked at him like she knew something. Then again knowing her she probably did. Mama J knew everything.

"Did y'all eat yet" he asked looking down at Royalty quickly changing the subject before Mama J worked her Jedi mind games on him.

"Yup we had big waffles, cheesy eggs, bacon, and fruit salad. It was yummy daddy right grandma" Royalty looked at her grandmother.

"Yes it was" Mama J replied and smiled at her. Royalty was adored by both her father and grandmother. They knew just how much of a blessing she was to Chris and was grateful for her birth even though it was under bad circumstances.

"Daddy what time we leaving to see my Apple" Royalty asked. He would joke with Royalty that April was his Apple first but Royalty quickly nipped that in the bud because April was her Apple and that's just what it was. Chris knew that was an argument he wasn't going to win so he didn't even bother going back and forth with her.

"Let me text her first and see"

"Okie dokie"

Apple🍏🍎: Hey hope you made it home safely. I'm at the hotel and ya baby wants to know when can she see her Apple.

Chrissy🕴🏽🕺🏽: 😂 aww well I just made it home and the whole crew is already here so y'all mind as well come on by and don't forget Mama J. You know my baby not gonna want to leave so you might want to just pack up and leave from my place.

Apple🍏🍎: Yea yea yea we'll be there once we finish up here

Chrissy🕴🏽🕺🏽: okie dokie

"Well lil lady we need to get packed up so we can go to Apple's house. You too mama she said to bring you too. So we'll pack up and leave from her spot"

"Let me not waste my time. You know I love to spend time with my daughter" Mama J smiled. She still dearly loved April. No matter if April and Chris got back together or not April was still going to be her daughter. Since they had reconnected they had texted and talked often and always made sure to see each other when she was visiting LA. Mama J would have it no other way.

An hour and a half later Chris, Royalty, and Mama J were all packed, checked out, and on their way to April's house. Arriving at April's place the gate was already open and April was standing on her porch smiling. Chris knew it was because her baby girl had finally arrived. The truck came to a stop and the driver got out and opened up the doors for them. As soon as the doors opened and Royalty was out of her car seat she was bolting out the car and running straight to April and into her arms and April was spinning her around with the biggest smile ever.

"I swear if I didn't know any better I'd think April was Royalty's mother" Mama J said hoping out the car looking at the scene play out before her smiling.

"She treats her like she's hers then again she treated her the same way when we were together"

"That is true" Mama nodded agreeing.

They took out their bags ready to bring them inside April's. For a second they thought about leaving them inside since the driver would be the same one to take them to the airport but they decided against it. Some people couldn't be trusted and they didn't want to take a chance finding out.

"Apple I missed you" Royalty spoke as April still had her in her arms. Mind you they were just together last night at the party and the day before having a girl's day with just the two of them.

"I missed you too my baby" April kissed her forehead smiling. "Hey Mama Hey Chris" April side hugged the both of them since she still had Royalty in her arms.

"Hey daughter" Mama J kissed her forehead and looked at her smirking like she knew something.

"Hey Apple" Chris just shook his head trying not to smirk smile or laugh as he walked inside with their bags in tow placing them by the door. He wasn't trying to give Mama J nothing to talk about.

"Make yourselves at home. The crew is here. We're pretty much just lying around being lazy. The fridge is fully stocked. The snack pantry is fully stocked as well" April closed and locked the door behind them and made her way to the living room with everyone following suit. "If you guys are sleepy I can show you all to the guest rooms" April said as she sat down on the couch with Royalty stuck to her like glue. Chris knew with Royalty stuck to her and everybody else in the house that they wouldn't have time to talk about the events that took place. He didn't mind though because it gave him time to really sit back and think about the situation with a clear mind. Either way he would still be there for her.
