Chapter 1 - Pilot

The Country of Fiore was an awesome place - amazing people always lending a helping hand everywhere and anywhere, kind people working at jobs they belonged to, everything spick and span - and then there was the drama.

Magnolia Highschool and Fiore Highschool never seemed to get along. Always street brawls, people bad mouthing the opposing school, and vandalism on the school walls done by their rival school. Such things like that were what made the mayor of Fiore sick and tired of this rivalry - he was so done with all of it, so he whipped up a plan.

Maybe it was a bad plan, maybe it wasn't, but enough people from the city council agreed on his idea - Combine both schools and make them get along.

The whole goal was to get them to play nice, and if it worked, the next school year they would be separated again. The Mayor and The City Council were so desperate, it was the only idea available. Another idea like that would take forever to create.

Today just so happened to be the First Day of School - loads of kids piling into one room which they were told to go to. Magnolia High students were to be shown to the room where they would meet since this school wasn't theirs and was - unfortunately for them - Fiore Highschools. Their Rivals school was pretty much the equivalent of a trash can, swamp, or even a bees nest. Whichever nasty word the Magnolians could think of, it was basically like Fiore Highschool's property.

What was even worse was the towns the kids from Fiore High lived in. Rundown neighborhoods looked like a cult had just arrived and brought gloom, or even a place where sunshine dared not to go. So, having to go to their rivals school building brought all sorts of gross feelings to them.

Tapping the microphone to see if it was on, a shy boy looked out into the crowded auditorium of students. The two sides contained different uniforms from the other side. Between a bunch of chairs was a walkway where the students divided into 2 groups, sitting by only the people of their same uniform. The boy at the mic stuttered. "W-Welcome back to school!" a bunch of voice cracks slipped through what he had said, gaining a bunch of laughs from one side and one side only. This was a little snippet of how their Rivalry played out.

The other side was dead silence, just looking at the other side as if they were maniacs. Those were the Magnolia High students, wearing the same uniform as the boy on stage. Both genders wore a short-sleeved white button-up shirt; the boy's collar of the shirt was more expressed. During cold days, the students had the choice to wear a long-sleeved version of their shirt now. The girls wore a dark but light blue skirt which was waist high and went to their mid-thigh. They also wore black stockings, ending below the knee, also having the choice to have the socks go higher. The boys wore the same colored pants as the girl's skirts, with all of their shoes being polished black.

(like this)

The laughing side, which would be Fiore High, wore the colors black and white. The girl's shirts were white button-ups, long-sleeved, and cuffed at the wrist with a black bow tied around the collar of their shirts. The skirt the girls wore stopped just above their hips and went until the lower thigh (which was longer than the Magnolia girls skirts). Making sure the skirt didn't slide off easily, black suspenders held them up. They wore stockings that showed a bit of skin between the skirt and socks, they have the choice to have them go lower or longer. The boys wore a long-sleeved button-up as well, with a black suit jacket pulled over it which the boys could choose to wear or not. The suit jacket had white details on it balancing out the outfit. Their tie was red, and their pants were black. All of the students of Fiore had black shoes.

The boy on stage blushed madly, being at a loss of words as the teachers standing around tried quieting Fiore Highschools obnoxious laughter. Soon enough, they got quiet and the boy stuttered out - being careful not to voice crack once more. "U-Uhm... We will first b-be pleased to hear from the head of the school board, Hisui E. Fiore, in place of the Mayor who had other businesses to attend."

As the boy walked away from the microphone, a lady with Green hair walked up to it. "Hello students~" her voice rang out. "I hope you had a great fun-filled summer and are ready to learn! I first want to start off by saying....."

She talked about the basics and rules of the new school - no fighting was to be done by anyone unless granted by the principal, which would hardly be ever. She also explained such things as how the students would start off in a class - meaning homeroom - with only students of their own school. She also explained how there were two student councils, one for each school - there were two councils because it'd just be easier. Like the two student councils, there were also two Principals. Of course one principal for each school, and luckily they were both principals that had been their own students principal for years.

"We're hoping for a positive ending to this school year and we thank you for being up for this new switch!" she smiled sweetly as she looked out into the room of students who she knew did not have any say in the schools combining, so therefore some were not so pleased with the switch. "Now, it'd be a pleasure to hear from your two principals! Mr Dreyar and Mr Porla!" she says as she walked away, and up came two very different men.

One of them, Mr. Dreyar, was short as short could be. Full name is known as Makarov Dreyar. He was barely noticeable, and almost always a very easy target to make Magnolia High mad at Fiore Highschool (Fiore High always criticized Mr. Dreyar's height, making the other school angry, and protective over their precious Principal whom they loved dearly).

The other, Mr. Porla, unlike Mr. Dreyar, was tall and slim. His full name José Porla, the Principal of Fiore High, and picked for best Principal of the year two times in a row by Hisui's Father; The mayor of all Fiore. José is scary, and a very mysterious man. No one ever knows what his plans are. He is very creepy looking, too, which made him all the scarier.

Once up, José took immediate action in speaking. He looked at all of his students on one side of the room with his signature toothy smile, and then shifted his head to look at the other side. His smile faltered and he all but glared. "I am José Porla for all you Magnolians who might not know. But let's be honest, you all know me." he smiles creepily, sending shivers down everyone spines. He never failed to do that to anyone, it was a natural thing if you were creeped out when meeting him. All of his students were invincible to his creepiness, them being used to his presence.

He looked back to look at his side of the room. "Now, students...As the lovely Hisui Fiore has told you, there is to be no fighting on school grounds. If there is, you'll be sent to me and I don't want to punish you for it. But let's be honest, you guys are less likely to start fights, am I right? Never engage in any, and most definitely don't encourage it."

He stepped aside from the mic, looking down at the other principal and nodded his head towards the microphone with a very unpleased look.

Makarov walked up to it and grabbed the voice extender, him being too small to actually be able to talk into it. "I'm obviously Mr. Dreyar." he looked at the Fiore High students, and unlike José towards Magnolia High, he smiled to them. "If you have any questions and Mr. Porla isn't there to answer them, I am surely here to talk to. Now," he looked at his side and looked most of them in the eye, his voice going serious. "the same rules apply to you what Porla said to his students. Don't start any fights. I don't want to hold any punishment either, but I am afraid that's the consequence. Don't engage, and don't encourage it, or you'll have to be talked to by me which is something you don't want happening."

José took the mic again and spoke into it. "After being dismissed, you will have 5 minutes to mingle and get stuff from your lockers, after that go to your designated classroom." José paused as he scanned the room. "Have a lovely first day of school, students!"

And then the shy kid from before walked back to the microphone and dismissed everyone, signaling the 5 minutes have started.

The school year would be hectic, but it sure would be life-changing for some...

Heyyyy there, stranger! Super excited for this Fanfiction, so let's hope for a good one 😉.

Just a little bit of a warning, I am teeeeeerible at updating on a schedule, so don't hate on me for that. I will try to get a chapter out to you all on time at least once a week (or twice if I am feeling extra).

If you came from one of my other Fanfictions, Hey there! Nice to see you again! If you haven't, I highly suggest to go read my stories (their Gruvia Fanfictions, though some aren't). I promise their decent.

Anyway, how was the first chapter? Good? Bad? Let me know! I have mixed feelings about it, I restarted writing at least 14 times, but I am too judgemental of my own writing. So I will leave it up to you guys to decide.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to ask me!

Any criticism you may have should be kept to yourself, that is unless you want me ranting about you on my 'About your Author' book. You have been warned.

Thanks for reading!
