Chapter 18 - Broken Trust
╚═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════╝
It was now Monday and the group of teenagers still hadn't gotten any texts from Meredy, Lyon, Jellal, nor Juvia.
No matter how much they spammed or how many calls they made, no one was answering. It was as if the four had disappeared from the face of the earth within 2 and a half hours.

When Erza had arrived at school, she showed Natsu, Gray, and Lucy the text with worry, looking at all of them in question.
"Why would they be mad?" Lucy asked, biting her lip worryingly.
"Dunno..." Gray commented, rubbing his tiresome face as if to wake himself up. Suddenly, he looked at Natsu "Natsu...what did you do?"
Natsu looked attacked, placing a hand over his chest as if not believing Gray had just made an assumption "Me?! What would I have done, Ice-Prick?"
"Again, dunno... You're the dumbest one here, so I guess you'd be the screw-up." with a smirk, Gray was able to get a laugh out of Natsu's reaction, knowing full well they'd be starting a fight as they do daily.
However, with a quick, stern "Enough." from Erza, the two were able to pretend to like one another once more "Get serious..."
"S-Sorry..." the two boys said in unison, looking towards the ground with a sulk. The girl scared the two to stuttering messes at times--by at times meaning 24/7.
"Guys, it's them!" Lucy pointed towards the entrance of the school, noticing a Meredy, Lyon, and Juvia entering the school grounds, looking mellow and aware of their surroundings.
Meredy had her arms wound around Juvia who looked to still have bruises scattered around her body, poorly hidden my makeup, and Lyon walked by the two acting as if a bodyguard. An imposing facial expression washed over all three of their faces, Juvia's energy seeming regretful, saddened, and downtrodden. "Hey! It's you guys!" the blonde called, waving her hand in the air with a delighted look on her face to see them safe and not dead.
Lucy's hand immediately dropped, however.
The way they looked at Lucy when they heard her call was scary, with Lyon and Meredy glaring at the group and Juvia getting more tense and sorrowful. Lucy slowly dropped her hand, losing her content smile which got replaced with a confused one as she tilted her head and they walked by "are you guys okay?"
"Quite fine, thank you." Meredy said sternly and quickly, seeming uncomfortable in their presence as they quickened up their pace. They walked passed the four without waiting or giving any sign of gratefulness--it was as if they were upset about something in particular.
Gray looked at Juvia with a slanted brow as they passed by, silently asking if she were alright. Juvia made slight eye contact with him, but instead of answering, the hatred she once had for the boy returned to show in her eyes, making Gray take a step back in offense. The glare was venom-filled, looking as if Juvia had the desire to snap his neck off.
A look like that would've been normal--if it were at the beginning of the school year when Juvia hated Gray's guts!
Unlike what a normal person who knew someone was mad at them would do, the group chased after the three, wanting some answers as to why they were being put in the guilt shame corner.
"You guys good? You three seem pissed for some reason," Natsu commented, taking a step next to Meredy who just kept her focus straight forward.
"Yeah," was all the pinkette said, wrapping her arms protectingly tighter around Juvia. Their walking sped up as if a sign of 'fuck off or we'll kill you.'
The four would've kept walking with the three if it wasn't for their names being called by a familiar, feminine voice.
While they all stopped to turn around and acknowledge Levy's presence, Meredy, Lyon, and Juvia kept walking without turning back, trying to rush out of their sight.
"We have a problem!" Levy said hurriedly, scrolling through her phone as she walked up to them. The girl was visibly shaking, tears pricking the corner of her eyes, daring to spill.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asked worryingly placing a hand on her friends' shoulder as she stared her way, the feeling of something bad in her stomach.
Levy just shook her head as she stopped scrolling suddenly, flipping her phone around to show the others "I don't know, but I woke up to this morning..."
On the phone showed a Social Media account. Not just any regular one, but one with the username: 'Juvia Haters' with the most awkward picture of the girl ever possible, and a bio of "This is why you shouldn't trust friends like us, Juvs!!! - Lucy Heartfilia."
"WHAT?!" shock filled Lucy's eyes, face, and body stance as her eyebrows twitched and tears, like Levy's, dared to spill.
Natsu just kept his mouth open as he re-read everything, an unbelievable aura filling the air around him "Lucy--why did you make this account?!"
The girl cried out in disbelief "You moron! I didn't!!! You of all people should know that!"
"Hm, I don't know--" Natsu said once more, but with an unamused smack to the back of his head from Erza, he stopped and put all jokes aside.
"Take this seriously, Natsu..." Erza pleaded, staring at the boy with a glare deep in her eyes.
"Alright, Alright."
Levy closed her phone and set it back in her pocket, a frustrated blush appearing on her face as a tear dripped from the corner of her eye "who would've done this... I-it isn't funny."
"Agreed," Gray said dangerously low, his hands clenched to his sides "but I swear, once I find who made this I'm going to beat their ass."
Everyone nodded in agreement as they all tried collecting their thoughts, but to no prevail, they weren't able to do anything with the delightful sound of the bell ringing "The least we could do is try to explain to Juvia that it wasn't us." Lucy said determined, a gleam shown in her eye.
"What if she doesn't? I have a feeling she won't with how much went on this past week..." Levy sniffled, her hands grasping one another worryingly "w-what if we lose her--w-what if this person is trying to make our lives miserable--what if-"
"Enough with the 'what if's, Lev." Natsu heroically spoke, anger washing over his eyes "We're getting Juvia back, no matter how much war we have to go through-"
"-And if we do lose her and she decides not to listen, we'll give her the time to realize," Erza turned abruptly with a determined smile playing on her lips "Now, let's get to class."
══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══
It was the middle of class and everyone was on edge--Natsu tapped his pencil on the desk, Lucy kept her eyes on a certain spot in the room as thoughts swept into her mind, Erza tried paying attention but nothing was functioning properly, Levy still dared to cry, and Gray just watched Juvia fully, not minding if it were obvious he was staring.
The girl still had a sorrowful, mellow look on her face as she paid attention to the lesson Porlyusica gave, not noticing any of the discomfort in the room--she also failed to notice Gray's stares, but some part of Gray felt she meant to not be noticed. And unlike before, her expression was unreadable, unpleasantly unreadable Gray almost wanted to grab her by the arm and tell her the truth of who, possibly, made the account--luckily, the time came when he could.
The door opened suddenly and in came Magnolia High's principal; Makarov Dreyar. "Porlyusica, I know you're teaching, but I have a student that desperately needs your help--they're very ill and need a specific medicine while he waits for his mom to come and pick him up."
With a guttural groan, Porlyusica rubbed her temples as she slammed the whiteboard marker in her hand on her desk, turning towards her boss "what kind of medicine and help!? It isn't rocket science, for goodness sakes!"
"I don't know, that's why I need you." with that last comment, Porlyusica sighed and turned to her class with a deathly look.
"Do anything funny and I'll send you with this old man to his office for severe punishment..." with that, she turned towards the door and left the room, Makarov following closely behind after a slight head nod of agreement.
If Gray wanted to take action, the time was now--and he took advantage of the time he had.
Standing up sneakily as the rest of the class began to chatter, he made his way over to Juvia who still kept her eyes glued to the whiteboard as she finished up writing the notes.
He bent down so he was kneeling next to Juvia's desk as he gently slammed his hand on her the surface, startling her enough to make the girl jump--but when she turned to the bastard who dared to scare her like that and noticed it was Gray, she just glared and continued writing, acting as if Gray weren't there.
He obviously knew she'd try to ignore him, but he didn't care. He needed to let her know that whoever made that account wasn't Lucy, or really any of them.
"You think we made that account?!?" Gray whispers angrily, looking at the girl with an unbelievable gleam in his eye "Well, we didn't so you can stop this funny business now, Juvia."
"Go away." was all Juvia replied with, saying it with an annoyed tone towards Gray.
Usually, when Gray got serious, the girl would immediately snap back into reality and believe his words, but that time it wasn't the case. His charm that usually worked on girls to make them less mad didn't work on Juvia.
"No. Not until you tell me why you think we made it." Gray stated, clenching his hands into fists.
All Juvia did was continue writing, glaring as she looked at the board and then back to her notebook "I don't have to give my reasons to traitors like you." Juvia said bitterly, causing a pang in Gray's heart to occur.
"Just tell me why you're convinced we did this so we can fix the problem, alright?" Gray said with annoyance laced in his voice, matching the tone Juvia had a while ago.
Juvia shakes her head, refusing to cooperate with the boy, writing the words in her book more aggressively now.
At that time Porlyusica returned abruptly, walking back to the board to continue her lesson "thanks for not causing any problems. Now, please, stop talking and pay attention."
"We didn't do it, and I swear it on my life--just tell me, please..." Gray said desperately, his eyes beginning to twitch. 'I...I can't lose you...'
Juvia just set her pencil down and looked at Gray unbelievably "you heard her, go sit down, Gray...!" she whispered aggressively, but of course, Gray didn't listen.
He shook his head, leaning into the girl seriously "We. didn't. do. it." Gray made furious eye contact with her for what seemed hours but really was only a few seconds before Juvia's head snapped away, focusing back on the teacher. Gray's face had gotten way too close to hers, and if she stayed staring, she was sure they'd make unneeded lip contact.
"Why are you doing this, Juvia? After all this time you think we'd do it? After all the things we've been through? You think we'd do all of that for some petty social media account?!" Juvia clenched her pencil in her hand at the boys' words, a dark cloud forming over her eyes as her teeth clenched and tears pricked her eyes "if you haven't noticed we love being your friend...we don't want this stupid person who made that fake account to ruin our friendship like that, so please, just listen--"
Juvia just shook her head, still clenching her teeth and visibly shaking with anger "go sit down."
"Juvia Lockser! Please, this is stupid!" he whispers.
"Shut up!" Juvia said with an angered cry loudly and abruptly, losing her inside voice, startling Gray who just softened his facial expression. Head turns from all of the students were made as they stared in the direction of the scream, wondering what was going on.
When Erza, Lucy, Natsu, and Levy saw it was Gray who made Juvia scream, they grew worried, wondering what Gray had done to make the outburst.
"Gray, get back in your seat." Porlyusica said seriously with bitterness, steam coming from her ears.
Gray just growled, standing up as he stared down to an overjoyed Juvia who finally would be left alone "We're not finished." he whispered with anger, turning around to stomp back to his seat.
Unbelievable! Juvia was so stubborn! What even about that social media page looked real?! Who would be so stupid to actually believe the crap, because as far as Gray knew, no one would ever put their name on a hate page? Not even if it were a set up--people would be too quick to assume it was an imposter, not the real person.
But still, Juvia was easily gullible to any forms of hate towards her. After all, she was criticized all her life by her father, and anything harmful done towards her, she'd believe it. Gray didn't necessarily blame the girl, but he was still angry at her for believing they'd do such a thing.
The bell rang as soon as Gray took a seat, which made his step-grandma groan and grip the hair on her head angrily--a great example of what Gray felt "God, you brats are lucky that I wasn't able to finish the lesson..." a few stood as they stuffed their bags "Despite the many interruptions," she especially stared at Gray "We'll continue this tomorrow. Dismissed."
At the dismissal, Juvia stood quickly, gathering her belongings and heading towards the door to leave as soon as possible--she was smart and knew the group would try their stupid shenanigans to talk with her, and no matter how sincere Gray sounded, Juvia still didn't find herself believing it, any of the words he said. Neither would she believe any of Lucy, Erza, Natsu, or Levy's pleas she was sure to get.
She still felt in her gut that they were lies--their lie that they didn't make the account. All the 'moments' they shared were wasted just to spend all their time on learning new information on the girl just to later ruin her life. It was really believable, and Juvia found herself bashing on her stupidity of trusting the Magnolians.
Her trust for them was broken, and surely, no matter what they'd do, they wouldn't convince her otherwise. Even if it wasn't them...whoever had done it had ruined friendships.
══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══
At lunch, Jellal, Meredy, Lyon, and Juvia all sat at separate tables, of course. Leaving Gray and the others on their own while staring at the group a few tables away with puppy dog eyes.
All day they were avoided by the 4 Fioreans, even Gray by Lyon--his own blood relative.
Gray, Natsu, Lucy, Levy, and Erza were still in shock with the situation and especially stricken with hatred towards whoever had done what they did.
They had a few people in mind--the Element Four, The swim team, a few Magnolians...but no matter who they blamed, there was always a reason why they wouldn't have.
The Element Four--although bitter, they still had Gajeel who seemed to be routing for Juvia's safety still. Even if the idea was to come up of hurting Juvia, Gajeel would most definitely shoot it down because, well, Juvia was still held in his heart. According to Juvia's own words, Gajeel was 'Still her best friend, just one she was forced not to talk to ever again' only Juvia thought this, however, so maybe...
The swim team--Although they were skeptical and really not into the idea of Juvia having Magnolian friends (one of their former members was assaulted by one of the Magnolians a year ago during a vandalism to the Fiore Highschool), Juvia was still their hero, a role model to each and every one of them. They all had a special place in their hearts for Juvia and would do everything and anything to protect her.
Some Magnolians--rumors of Team Natsu having some Fioreans friend's had spreaded like wildfire. And like most, no one liked the idea. It shouldn't be happening, they were Rivals, after all!! Magnolians and Fioreans were supposed to be separate social groups, not friends. Team Natsu wasn't the only one gaining bonds with others of their Rival school, though. So maybe some students were ill-filled enough to want to put things back to normal. However, Magnolians wouldn't want to hurt each other like that. Friends were an important thing to them, and if any tried breaking bonds, things would go downhill.
All suspects couldn't be the ones who had done it. So the few Magnolians were left in a rabbit hole, still no luck on who might've started the drama.
All that was left was some suspicion towards some Fioreans, who Gray and the others had yet to point out.
However, they had a feeling that they'd find out the real backstabber soon. Whether this was true or not, they hoped on the latter.
══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══
After school Erza came up with a plan to corner Juvia and talk with her--try to, at least.
So with the idea and plot in mind, the rest set up a plan to meet at the front of the school to try and catch the certain bluenette.
They met up, waited, saw a few students pass by, even more students pass by, saw a person with a similar shade of blue hair to Juvia's but it wasn't the girl they were looking for, saw more people, a couple holding hands walked by, and then you wouldn't even guess it--more people passed.
Before they knew it, the number of students walking by decreased and the less hope they got.
Their plan was spoiled. The likelihood of Juvia exiting the building any second now was not likely since the group had waited over 10 minutes.
"Maybe she beat us..." Lucy said with the hope gone in her voice, along with the twinkle of determination in her eyes.
Levy nodded her head in agreement, hunching over as her arms folded "Or Juvia figured we'd be waiting, so now she is avoiding us..." the petite girl added as a pout formed on her face.
Erza just shook her head as she, too, lost her determination, "Let's just get out of here...we'll try again tomorrow..."
As the rest turned to leave and started walking off, Gray stayed behind, staring at the school doors as if the girl were just to suddenly appear. Though, after a few seconds, she didn't, and Lucy called after Gray "You coming, Gray?"
"Yeah..." he turned hesitantly and caught up with his friends as all of them headed home, leaving the school's property and hoping for the best the next day.
Gray wanted to talk with Juvia, but now, he wouldn't be able to until the next day. In fact, he'd have to wait numerous hours for Meredy, Lyon, and Jellal to leave the bluenettes side.
He hoped it would all be easier tomorrow, hoped they'd be able to help Juvia know that they didn't do whatever she thought they had done, and most importantly, wherever Juvia was, he hoped she was safe from harm's way--that's all he asked
Luckily for him, the girl was not harmed--as of then, however.
She had spent her time after school scouting around the building for some specific people, and it was taking longer then she had thought.
Where they usually were after school, they weren't at, and where students said they were, they weren't at either. So, Juvia was left blind, guessing where they could be because they were not, in fact, out of the school by now. She knew they were somewhere, knew she'd be finding them sooner rather than later--
--and her speculations were true when she turned the corner and saw them standing around one of the school exits.
She let out a sigh of relief as confidence washed over her, causing her to speed walk to the old group of hers; The Element Four.
What she hoped to achieve with this encounter? Oh, she was hoping she'd 'make amends' with her old friends much like José had wished. She wanted forgiveness from all four of them, needed it - desperately needed it.
As she got closer and closer, she realized it wasn't just her four friends she had hoped to see, but the addition of 4 more people--
1 of them she noticed as Lucinda Grover - also a senior of Fiore Highschool, seemingly nice and clever -, another one as Brinley Steinfield - a new student that year, a senior of Fiore High, looked like an average 'mean girl', and was rumored to be incredibly nice -, and another female as Chloe Kol - also a senior, incredibly smart (so smart she had skipped a grade), and a total cutie. The fourth one? Oh-ho, Juvia wanted to scream, rip out her hair, and cry at the same time.
The fourth party was none other then Juvia's former Boyfriend, now titled Ex, Bora Prominence. The guy she wished never to see in her life ever again.
Why the man was hanging out with her old friends? She had no clue, but what she did know was that it called for trouble.
She wanted to turn around, run away from her past as if it were nothing to her, and forget about her want to gain back her beloved friends. However, before she could turn away, the group had stopped their suspicious chatting and noticed the presence of Juvia, noting her right away
"Oh hey, it's you!" Lucinda said with a sudden smirk, not matching her kind personality whatsoever.
Juvia sweatdropped and bit her lip, awkwardly standing still "U-Uh yeah...it's J-Juvia..."
She felt the glare of everyone on her as she stared towards the ground, avoiding the obvious displeasure in the air. She felt so emotional at that point that she considered making a fool of herself by running away, but when she was called from her thoughts, she snapped back to reality.
"What do you want..." Totomaru said bitterly as if he had just been stabbed by the presence of the girl "I thought I told you to never talk to us ever again?"
Juvia opened her mouth to speak as Toto stepped up, Sol, and Aria doing the same as Gajeel just stood back with pleading in his eyes towards Juvia "J-Juvia knows and she's sorry. B-but, Juvia is wanting to apologize for...cutting you all off in hopes to become friends once more...but-"
"You realized I was with them, hm?" Bora said casually as if nothing went on between them before, laughing at Juvia's obvious sneer.
"Yes...Juvia still can't figure out why, because you're not needed at all...." she fired back, feeling in the mood to kick serious butt.
As if she had just dropped a bomb, Lucinda fussed up and almost threw herself at Juvia "he is needed! He totally is because he's mine!"
What were the words Juvia had heard just now? Bora was Lucinda's? She should just run away now because Bora definitely didn't think the same. It was pathetic to think the guy could love a kind and caring girl. After all, Juvia was that kind of girl back then and still is. In a way, Juvia felt bad for Lucinda--whom she had never conversated with before.
Chloe stood up this time, "Lucinda, enough..."
"No, babe...not enough!" Totomaru suddenly said, causing Juvia's eyes to strike with hurt.
"B-Babe?" Juvia said confusingly, looking from Chloe, then back to Toto, and then to Chloe once more. What was going on?
Gajeel snickered as he smirked, "Chloe and Totomaru are dating, got a problem?"
Again, hurt flashed in Juvia's eyes at Gajeel's snappy remark, as if the years of being best friends meant nothing and the pressure of Totomaru bullying Juvia got to him and he wanted in on the action.
"Off-topic..." Totomaru sided, casually stepping up so Juvia would notice "You have 2 minutes to say what you have to; Go."
She hesitated for 10 seconds, but when she realized she was well wasting her time, she took a deep breath in-then out and spoke the words on her mind "It was incredibly foolish of me to choose those Magnolian's over you guys...I regret it every day, and especially in the past few days. If you didn't know, they started a hate account on social media about me a-and totally revealed they were using me..." she paused for a second as she looked towards the ground with sorrow, "Call me a stupid bitch, I don't mind, and quite frankly, I deserve it...but I'm so sorry."
She continued, "I should've remembered the repetitive behaviors of all the Magnolian's--their backstabbing behavior." tears spilled from her eyes as her voice cracked and shook, she was shaking and could tell the air changed around all 9 of them. "I owe you 4 an apology, and that was that... I want to be your friends again, want to be with you the rest of my Highschool experience instead of with people who take me for a fool... S-So, what do you say?"
After her two minutes were up, the silence cooled the air as Juvia waited patiently. She still had her face towards the ground, meaning she couldn't see what was going on, but when a thumb and forefinger grabbed hold of her chin, she was now facing Totomaru who had an angered gleam in his eye.
She awaited his response, and before she knew it, she was in a panicking mess "You poor baby..." he said as if she were smaller than him, shaking her head with the finger spaced on her face. Everyone else behind Totomaru abrupted with evil laughter, some seeming extremely forced and fake, but it still made Juvia feel awful.
Pain, as it always had done, crept into Juvia's heart, mind, and soul as she sat there like a coward, tears spilling uncontrollably as she heard them laugh at her, thinking it was some joke and she was being pranked. She waited for Totomaru to finish, and as soon as he did, Juvia wanted to slap him. "Your apology was...adorable. Sweet, even... But sadly for you, I and the others don't forgive you." Juvia felt the absence of his fingers on her chin as she stared absent-mindedly. All respect for the boy had evaporated then and there into thin air as if water introduced to heat. She was hurt, incredibly hurt, but he wasn't even done...
"We obviously don't need you! I don't need to have a petty crush on you anymore! I have Chloe! And now we have the addition of her, Lucinda, Brinley, and even Bora--all better people than you-!"
"B-But Bora, Toto!" Juvia argued, pointing a finger to the man she once dated as she received a glare from his new girlfriend who was blind to the truth of his love. Juvia had complained all about the heartbreaking guy to Totomaru and the others regularly--ever since she had broken up with Bora and the rumors had started. Toto, no thinking needed, would always try to protect her! Gajeel, Sol, and Aria, too! Had they forgotten all the pain he caused? All the hatred they had for the guy?!
Sol just chuckled, placing a hand on Bora's shoulder "he's a good guy, Ma'dame Juvia... You're the problem!"
As Juvia glared at all of them, she stepped back, "How...could you!?"
"And how could you leave us!" Totomaru countered, smirking at Juvia's shocked expression at his outburst, loving the emotion flying over her face "We don't want you back because you're nothing to us! Just like you are to those Magnolian's, and even your father-!"
Juvia clenched her fists at the 'F' word that had come from the black and white-haired man. That word struck her every time she heard it.
A single tear trickled down her face as she stared with a hateful vengeance at Totomaru, wanting to tackle him more than anything.
"We obviously don't need you anymore... You've got their dirty hands all over you." 'they' meaning Magnolians, "And as for your little...'Social Media incident'...I'm glad those Magnolians used you because truthfully, you deserve it. You should've realized they were bad people sooner rather than later--it's not our fault for your foolish behavior."
Juvia clenched her teeth as she stood back in fear, regretting every decision she had made thus far--one of them is talking with her old group because if she were to be honest, she saw their negativity from miles away.
"How pathetic she looks," Chloe spoke up, walking towards Totomaru and wrapping her arm around him, losing her niceness from before "to think you actually liked this floozy..."
"I know, right?" Totomaru unwrapped her arm from him as he kissed her lightly on the lips before turning back to Juvia, "now, if you'll excuse us, we are to be getting away from a loser like you."
Brinley and Lucinda laughed as Juvia stared towards the ground, hating everyone's presence. "...you're an asshole, Totomaru..." Juvia whispered towards the ground.
"What was that, Juvia?" he asked with an angered brow narrow, thinking he had heard her right.
"You're an asshole!" Juvia said more dependently, looking up from the spot on the floor as she looked at each member of the Element Four she once considered friends "This is ridiculous, all of you! Did you suddenly forget how much I helped you? How much I supported you!? Especially you, Gajeel, because to be honest, I thought you actually considered me a friend still...I guess all those years have meant nothing to you, hm? You could care less?" Juvia stared deeply into Gajeel's eyes, making the man look at her in sorrow. She had never seen such emotion from the boy ever in her life, and somewhere in her brain, it concluded he didn't care--he acted like Juvia was just like the rest of the people in this cruel world that he hated dearly.
As Gajeel looked towards the ground to avoid Juvia's rising anger, Totomaru gained much irritation that he brought his hand back and then slapped the bluenette so hard it knocked her to the floor.
She held onto her cheek that had been slapped millions of times before by her father as she looked up to Toto with a shocked expression, remembering all the memories of her father doing the same thing that the boy had just done.
As for those who were watching, it was as if they lost character, wanting to sprint towards Juvia and help her all while yelling at Toto for breaking a deal. But by some miracle, they were able to keep their need to leap into action by staying back, choosing to stay silent. Some just stood still - like Bora, Sol, and Aria - and really showed nothing at all, like the scene hadn't just happened.
Tears uncontrollably fell from Juvia's eyes as she tried her hardest to look fierce at Totomaru, like what the old friend of hers had just done didn't affect her at all-- but it did. She never expected anyone else to hit her like her Father does day in and day out, so the shock in her brain wasn't comprehending anything.
With an evil gleam in his eye, he just stepped over Juvia "now do as you were told a while ago--NEVER talk to us again."
Juvia didn't see it, but she heard the footsteps walking away as the rest followed the guy, stepping over Juvia and leaving her on the ground. Gajeel looked as if he were going to help Juvia up, but with quick thinking, he was able to walk away from her, leaving her on the floor helpless.
As she felt their presence leave, she burst into sobs, crying on the floor just knowing no one was there to help her.
She wanted Meredy and Lyon there with her, but knowing that Meredy had work and Lyon had gone with her, she knew it wasn't possible. She needed some comfort, needed the love to help her mind become controlled, but no one would be able to be her shoulder to cry on.
If only Gray, Lucy, Natsu, Erza, and Levy hadn't of made that social media account, because Juvia would've been running to their aid by now.
She was alone, left in the dark, with no one, not even her mind. She was exceedingly sorrowful, not knowing what to do or how to overcome the pain.
Juvia would just have to deal with it because nothing would soothe her mind at that moment. The attack hit her hard and she was extremely unmotivated to move or go somewhere safe--nowhere was safe for her. Not her home, not Meredy's home, not anywhere...
The least she could do was lay on the cold floor of the school because overall, the school was better than her hell home...

Hope you enjoyed the chapter ❤️❤️
As for now... I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU READERS!
I've been thinking instead of "All I Ever Needed", the title should instead be called ''All She Ever Needed" just to be more set towards Juvia and not just any character.
Why I've been thinking about the title switch is just to settle things for the title I have in mind for the sequel of this story (and yes, there'll be a sequel).
So, what do you think?
All I Ever Needed
Or
All She Ever Needed??
Let me know or I'm deciding myself, I guess 😂😂
